Android users are now updated as well! Be sure to hit the Play store to find your update! Note: If you don’t see the update try restarting your device. Sometimes it doesn’t show right away on Android.

When I logged on roughly 11th EST (Android), I got an auto in game update (didn’t have to go to the Play Store). Probably because of the new social aspect, they didn’t want 2 versions active.
That makes sense!

Thanks all for the new friends for this event, did not make it in time to get the prize before prompt that forced the update, really was hoping to keep it going, and it was for a while there, but no prize for me, o well. To all my new friends (et is in my name) I am apologizing here, new update will not work for me. This almost daily player, now has to say farewell to this game. I will not be offended if I am removed for inactivity, and actually, won’t even know, so delete away!
Awww that is too bad. Why won’t it work? Too much memory? I know that on my phone I had to make a lil more room to get it to fit. Hate to lose an Addict. 🙁
Yes too much memory, may be able feed the addiction once I upgrade my phone. I’m not too much in a hurry though. I get the feeling that there will be more, and worse attempts at trying to get people to spend cash. I never did. Would be nice to play “old” version if “new” version can’t fit, but I am trying to look on the bright side…I should have more free time on my hands to perhaps better myself instead of tapping a screen for amusement. Hi. Stop friending me please. I’m tapped out 🙂 I’m full! I can’t add more than a 100 and I have 27 friends in the queue. I have no idea why people can add me when I’m full, because I cannot add anyone past 100. If you are in the queque, I will add you when others don’t seem to be active. I take care of visiting every single friend. I’m on multiple times a day.
Do you get anything for your leftover hearts?
Nothing. Similar to the last events…it just went on to the new stuff and removed all the old stuff.
It is 3:26pm and I still have Valentine’s Day, so it isn’t gone for me! I restarted my Kindle 4 times. I checked the app store, no update, just says “Open” and takes me to my game. This is really frustrating and not the first time this has happened.
I see this most commonly with Kindle tappers. When my Mom had this issue two updates ago, the only fix was to uninstall/reinstall.
I actually did uninstall/reinstall to get the kindle update (I just waited until the kindle store had a new icon/version info and after syncing didn’t update, I did the delete / redownload cycle. I could have been patient but I had neighbors who were leaving hearts at the same time other neighbors were tapping buildings.
Thank goodness!! So nice to be able to click on houses and things again. Fingers crossed that squidport glitch (and others) still works!!

What about the Springfield downs glitch? It was working this morning but I haven’t updated yet.

Still no update for Kindle after restart and reinstall.
when clicking on a friend it says friend has “newer content” than you, clicking OK redirects you back to your own town.
Hmmm probably because the hearts are all gone.

Ive got another question: how do I turn off character voices when visiting friends towns? It gets annoying hearing 20 people talking all at once.
Not a problem at all. 😉
Go into your menu (hammer & saw). When you see the menu info pop up (like buildings, decorations, etc.) you will see a lil movie camera icon and italic letter “i” in the top right corner. Click on that. There you will see the options for music volume, sfx volume, push notifications, and the confirm donut spend. Adjust the volume to what you want or completely silent. Turn notifications off or on. Confirm donut spend I always have to ON so I don’t accidentally spend my precious sprinkly pink things. 😉
There’s a confirm donut spend? I could have used that a while back. I wonder why its not already turned on? Oh yeah, they’re trying to make money.

Woo Hoo! Managed to get a couple more Valentine’s spins in before I updated, wasn’t going to get enough hearts for a third. Now gone through all the left over neighbours and already got 100 FP!
Any word on if theres a new level as I’m on 35 so don’t know.
Guessing the update took so long to come as they were ironing some bugs out of the new reward system.
No new level. Just the friend reward for now. 🙂
No sight of a new level yet. Only the Social Event is what I see as new in the files. The rewards are cool. Still could see another level update, but who knows. EA is full of surprises. 😉
I have characters on tasks, what happens if i update ?
I also have 20 spins, should i use them before i update?
If you want the prizes then spin before you update. If you don’t care then don’t worry about it. There is no heart grinder. So you hearts just disappear.
As far as characters on tasks they’ll complete as they normally would. Similar to if you were growing roses. They’ll finish and you’ll earn them. 🙂
I updated an I don’t have anything new it just took away all the VD stuff. Any suggestions?
Go into your friends screen. It will trigger the Social Event and the FP points (more details coming soon) 😉
I was glad to see the update completed the last rose bush I was growing at Cletus’ farm… I was worried it might just disappear.
You really need to visit your Neighbors and see the surprises in store.

I think people with unused hearts should have had them converted to this new friendship points since you earn them basically the same way minus character task it the friendship points remind me of the Christmas event when I first started playing tsto where you collected gift cards for prizes but minus the community prizes for gift bags I am not sure what the fp gifts are but one looks like snowball

I just updated on my ipad and i have 1.1gb free but it keeps telling me that i Don’t have enough space, I’m starting to hate These updates since I often have this Kind of trouble when updating, and I think it isn’t really a “space problem” but I dunno 🙁
Sorry about that. The app file is HUGE. I always try to allow twice the space it calls for to upload it. The amount needed is just for the download itself, toss into that all the data from your game on top…it adds up fast. I had to move my game to an external SD mini card (I got a 32gb). It runs better that way for me.
:/ I guess that happens when you have a 16gb ipad and a Huge game like this, i’ll keep deleting things & apps u.u
I have the same issue. Though…mine is probably not helping with the 10,000 + screenshots I also have from the game to bring you guys content too. Lol. 😉

I’m not sure if it was ever working for me, but I’ve left a completed tile sitting for the past few days to see if it would work after v-day.

I don’t think so… I’ve tapped on a neighbors tile and received allotted money, friend pours, and 2 XP…. When I used to get alot more XP… Not sure what will happen on my neighbor’s side…

Well just updated and sad to say no conversion for hearts all my hearts simply vanished with the update so go ahead and spin that wheel and try for more trains and ponds
