Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Today marks the official 1 year anniversary of when TSTO Addicts was officially launched! And honestly we’re stoked about it! We’re completely blown away by the AMAZING community of readers we have here at TSTO Addicts. We absolutely love what we do and really appreciate all of YOU!
Of course we’re no strangers to celebrating an anniversary around here! We celebrated our 1 month anniversary way back when, and more recently our 6th month anniversary back in February. We’re always celebrating little milestones with each other and we LOVE to share the bigger ones with you guys! After all YOU guys are the heart and soul of this community….and we wouldn’t have it any other way! So, Bunny, Wookiee and I just wanted to take a moment and say thank you to our wonderful readers and share our thoughts on Addicts turning 1!
Wow Addicts is 1 and I honestly can’t believe it! Seems like just yesterday this “little blog that could” started as a crazy idea between my childhood friend and I. When we set out to create the site we wanted to be different. We wanted to do things no one else was doing. We wanted something with more personality. We wanted to laugh.
Now here we stand 1 year later and I think we’ve achieved our goals! (although I’ve always been a bit of an overachiever, so we’ll keep on tweaking and posting to make this place as awesome as we can!) Seriously though, This site would not be what it is today with out you amazing readers! You guys make this place fun, we just supply the music and margaritas! We love each and every one of you for being here and being part of this TSTO Community! 🙂
Of course I’m just 1/3 of this site…and it wouldn’t be nearly as much fun if I didn’t get to write and work everyday with 2 of my best friends! Bunny and Wookiee I love you both like you’re family and I know our friendship will continue way beyond TSTO and into those days when you’re both living in retirement homes. Don’t worry, I’ll still come visit! 😉
Of course now Bunny and Wookiee want to have their say too!
First up, a word from Wookiee:
Holey smokes! Has it really been one year? I distinctly remember having a lot of trepidation when Alissa asked if I would join the blog to show off some 2D art and I was certain it wouldn’t work out and I’d be promptly fired. Fast forward to today and we’re still chugging away and all I can do is be in a state of minor disbelief. In a lot of ways, TSTO helped me through some really hard times and I’m blessed to have Alissa, Bunny Foo Foo and all of you in my life.
As proud as I am of this site, the fact is, none of this would be possible without all of our awesome, bodacious, amazing, radical, beautiful, sometimes disgruntled, charming, addicted, and (insert compliment here) readers on the site. Add to that the love and support of two of the sweetest co-writers I could have ever asked for and I’m a lucky fuzzball. Addicts is a home away from home where I can let my writing urges free. Some days feel like successes and others, well, they are just days I’m happy to play TSTO among like-minded individuals.
While I’ll admit this game isn’t perfect, I think this community perfectly fits it. If I could bottle all the happiness I’ve experienced through this site and the TSTO Community, I think I could make the world a better place or at least have a drink to rival Bunny’s water lol. All of the madness of this last year truly makes me think of an old saying: “We may not have it all together but together we have it all.”
I have had the time of my life in the last year writing and getting to know some of you. The support we have received from folks is so great and it still makes me feel special that people give a hoot what we have to say about a silly mobile game about cartoon characters. Just proof that a few goofy kids with a small modicum of talent could build something good and with the help of other goofs keep it going.
Who knows what the future holds but I for one am hoping to write another message like this in a year’s time. Much love to all from the Wookiee and keep on tapa-tapa-tapping in the free world.

Hey there Hoppereenos. Sheesh, one year? Doesn’t feel like it. I feel like I have known my Fellow Addicts Team and YOU for so much longer. Our amazingly awesome lil dysfunctional family. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I am so grateful Wookiee, my fellow cohort from the early days, vouched for me. Grateful Mark and Alissa took me in and excepted me with open arms. Grateful for the love and support my Team has provided to me through the many dark times as of late. Without them and without the humor and love here from YOU, all our readers…some days would have been unbearable. Enjoy working daily with Alissa and the Fuzzball. (Even enjoy driving Alissa mad with my “humor”.)
I was actually brought to the team on the 21st “officially”. Lol. So my own personal lil anniversary is not too far away. I still remember how happy I was to get the email, welcoming me in. I had wanted to write for a while.
I have a great passion and want to do nothing more than help others, care for others, and always “Pay It Forward”. (And I get to giggle and make others giggle too.) I am so very happy and delighted I found that in the Amazing Team here. I hope to continue on that journey for as long as YOU, the readers, allow me. It is always better to give and I am more than happy to continually give my personal time to this AMAZING Community of players. Even if it only helps just one, I will do all I can to provide it. I will continue to do what I do for YOU. 😉

Happy Anniversary!!! You guys absolutely rock! Addicts is my #1 go to site for all things TSTO (and TQFS) and I am extremely lucky to have found you. You easily differentiate yourselves from the other sites and without a doubt you have succeeded in your goal of providing up to date, factually correct information in a FUN and friendly way. Reading your blog is half the fun of TSTO and even when there is a lull in the game you guys always have interesting things to talk about and share. I may not post often, but rest assured I am reading your blogs every single day and loving the info and the super fun environment.
You three have created something very special and I think I speak for all of us who are Addicts that we appreciate everything you do, taking the time out from your busy schedules to keep us updated and entertained. The fact that you’re all such good friends is evident and I’m proud to be a part of your special family. 🙂

I still remember when I discovered Addicts. I was reading another tsto website, but it got to the point where it just got too ‘cranky’ for me to enjoy. Then one day they mentioned some friends they had at a little site called addicts and I’ve been an addicts addict ever since! Thank you guys for always being so pleasant!
