Update 7pm EDT: If you’re just downloading both the App Store update and the Easter Update at the same time the Easter update will start up first. However, get past the initial dialogue with Ned & Homer first and then get past the Gil Dialogue and the Mystery Box questline should start up. However, now Mr. Burns MUST be free to trigger it. It will no longer auto start. So make sure Mr. B is free and you should see the ! to start it.
Update: It appears this update has pulled the ability to purchase the Beach House…it’s not listed in the store. It should be there. Will contact EA once I leave work to see what’s going on with it.
Also, a report from a lovely Tapper, AnothrAddict, Brandine’s quest with Valentine’s Day has been skipped over. Here’s their comment: “Heads up For those who didn’t complete the st paddys quest b/c of brandine….it skipped over her today and moved on to part 7. Yay I was waiting to end of event before I sped her birth (so weird to say) so now I can spend doughnuts on new mystery box and/or Easter stuff.” I have no way to verify this myself so if it’s working for you now please let us know.

Homer: Polynesian god? That’s nonsense! Easter is about a bunny that lays eggs and a guy who comes back to life. Hmm, that sounds pretty ridiculous too. Maybe this new god has something going. What’s his philosophy on church attendance?

As a new player, I am planning to take advantage of the easter items as I love seeing them in other towns.
I have no use just now until I buy more land and stuff so how many should I look to buy. I feel the price is really cheap especially compared to other fences. And would like a good stock of them. Anyone any suggestions how many to purchase?
Also I don’t seem to be getting donuts from visiting neighbours! !! Anyone else experiencing this?

Easter fences are limited edition so u should stock up if you like the design. But as a new player they are not so useful if you want to focus to earn money.
For earning of donuts , it varies. I ever got four, but most of time is just one, two or three or none at all. I ever had none for two weeks.
When I stock up on limited edition fences, I usually get about 100 of them, not counting any that I have already placed in my Springfield. But I’ve been playing long enough that the cash cost of this doesn’t cause a problem. For a newer player, only do this if it doesn’t hurt you financially.
I earn about 80,000 per day just now and spend it ever day lol however I have bought 100 of each of the fences for now and will see how I progress before the end of the mini event. I also bought johnny fiestas and my other tasks will just have to wait. I thought the price of the restaurant and fences where alot cheaper than any other option available through daily play so worth the investment to delay progress for a day 🙂
At some point during yesterday’s updates, Krusty’s 6s task in the clownface skin was removed for me. Don’t see this mentioned anywhere so I thought I’d check to see if other users saw this as well. Moog’s is still there though.

The question takes a little bit of digging on our side to see the best way to correct the problem. The problem is we had 2 updates hit yesterday since (plus a few glitches) so I just haven’t had the time to investigate. Sometimes questions take a little bit more time than others. I promise as soon as I can look into it I will. I haven’t approved it yet to remind me to answer it.

Is it possible you have the other items? If you don’t and you’re only seeing partial, then yes contact EA let them know. However, first go into your store and expand all of the icons. Click on the one that looks like an Egg and see if it’s in there.

So I was thinking … Since I spend all my donuts , the only chance for me to get another mystery box , is by the daily play. Can you get a character twice ? I mean you can’t get 2 BHL , for example, but instead of him do you get 90 donuts ?

): I won the blue haired lawyer in the free box. As he came up, my game crashed and upon reloading he was gone and the quest was gone too. Contacted EA, got a 15% off any origin base game code as an apology, (…seriously?) And told to wait and see if he shows up.
On my alternative account, I got bomb shelter in free box and only had enough donuts for 2 goes, got the onda and a minnow pond. FML
Contact them again and try and see if you can get a phone option (to someone in the US). Usually they at least award donuts for the error.
I got so many awsome stuff with the new mystery box. BHL , kearny, 3 lard lad donuts , 3 itchy and scrachy billboards , some vans for the channel 6 . Pretty cool, tho i spend all my donuts 😰
Did anyone else notice that the Golden Buddha is gone? At least it is gone from my shop. I can click on the icon, but there is no longer an option to buy a Golden Homer Buddha.

24 tries on the mystery box (only a total of 56 donuts after all the free ones I kept winning) and was VERY happy with the BHL, tire fire, a couple of Channel 6 news vans and Itchy and Scratchy billboards, and several Chalmers ONDA, minnow pond, khlav kalash stands, and bomb shelters…..BUT….Why oh why did everyone else get a Lard Lad when I want it sooooo badly 🙁 I promised myself the 50 is all I would spend (went to 56 on a crazy justification I could make that back in a few days of neighbour visits).
Lard Lad actually has the worst odds of winning (well next to free donuts). It’s a pretty small chance, so could be why.
I got so lucky then! I won it & couldn’t be happier!
I spent 60 donuts on mystery boxes yesterday and besides other various premium items I did not have; I received 3 Lard Lads (I do not mean to rub it in honestly!!). I know this is why the Addicts did not want to post those odds/percentages, but I just wanted to share that I already had Lard Lads from a full price purchase (so it was kind of annoying), but now that I hear jjleigh73’s story I feel like I should just be thankful lol. All in all it’s a really nice thing EA did with the Mystery Box because we all know they did not have to do it, and it really is a SUPER GREAT VALUE!
UPDATE: I caved and tried again, won 30 donuts. Tried again and…..LARD LAD!!!! Here’s my summary:

LOL! I really can’t complain because I think this is absolutely fabulous (I never got a decent prize from the mystery boxes ever – purchased or free. No SVT, Kearney, etc.) so I bought a few of those thingsl, but have never spent the donuts on Lard Lad, no matter how much I want it, because either limited time or other items ended up taking priority. I couldn’t believe it when EVERYONE posting said they got one – or more – of them. Maybe I’ll break down and buy more, maybe I won’t. But either way, I just want to make it clear that I think this is really awesome and kind of like getting new content for the event, because many of us might have never been able to buy these items as freemium or semi-freemium. I’ve actually bought two boatloads of donuts now in the last year and am still down to my last 500 and watching them like a hawk. I did A LOT of catching up at Halloween and Christmas since I only started playing New Year’s 2014.

My bonus percentage went way down even though I’m still at 5 stars. I didn’t remove any items with bonus %. Any ideas as to why?
Something might have gone into storage and you didn’t realize it.
Is anyone having a problem with their Conform-o-Meter after this update?? My Righteousness plunged down to half a star and I can’t figure out why. Nothing has graffiti on it. I thought maybe it was because I left my Radioactive Man statue in its destroyed state, so I changed the skin to the original one, but nothing happened.
Could have something to do with Sideshow Bob too. The righteousness rating is really fussy. The slightest thing could cause it to drop. Try adding some training walls to your town, that should bring it back up.
I have noticed many times that my conform-o-meter drops to half a star. If you don’t want to buy stop signs or police walls, it will slowly go up when you clean graffiti off your buildings. I do it all the time, takes a while but it will go up by doing this.
Thanks for the advice. Nothing has graffiti, Sideshow Bob has been caught, and there’s no debris or anything. Still at only half a star, down from 4 or 5!
I know that there were obvious changes to the Mystery Box, but does anyone have any experience with the Golden Scratcher with the new updates?
I’m asking because I just bought two of them. The first gave me 6 donuts, but the second got me 100!
Maybe it was just dumb luck, but I was wondering if maybe they made a change to the Golden tickets too.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they temporarily increased the odds on the Golden Scratcher. I bought one last night, really just hoping for 6 donuts to cover an extra mystery box, and won 100 donuts on the first try (and stopped there because I’m not pushing my luck). Then I won all 3 playable characters, a news van, 30 donuts and a billboard from mystery boxes!

I’m happy that I have the chance to get the Easter stuff I wasn’t around to get last year. I immediately grabbed Blocko and Banana Dictatorship since I’ve been wishing for them since I started playing. Also got Johnnys, I think it’s an attractive building to add. Got Shary and Hugs since they have tasks, but I don’t know if I want to spend donuts to get the Egg guy or monkey since they are just “there” and don’t earn anything. I stocked up on trees, fences, gates and walls. I say get them while you can, they come in handy later. Also grabbed the float and some eggs to make a small Easter display.
MYSTERY BOX- I tried 9 times total counting my free box, ended up with 3 billboards, 2 news vans, 1 car, and a Lard Lads hit a total of 40 donuts – so with my free box I figure I actually spent 14 donuts. Good deal for what I ended up with I think.
I got 30 donuts in my free box. I won’t be buying any as I already have all the prizes, the only way they would get me to buy some would be to put a unique item in there that you couldn’t get any other way.
The Lemon Tree is unique to mystery boxes, but it’s easy enough to get that with the mystery boxes from the daily play bonus
No, it’s not necessarily easy to get. I’ve been playing daily for about 7 months now, and I have yet to get one. (Didn’t get one in any of the seven Mystery Boxes I got between yesterday and today, either.)
I just bought 2 blue houses and they were $260,000 each? Is that the correct new price? Seems high for a level 7 item.

Dont know uf anyone has noticed. KwikEmrts start at 250 dolars and go to 1500 or so. And for every one you get 2500 XP so in reality 250 – 1500 dollara for 2500 XP.

I’m pleased to see some of these “new” decorations to add some more variety to my Springfield. I joined during last years Stone Cutters event so missed out last year. I used the Easter Fence’s (do I detect some ill will surrounding these?) to replace the iron railings around my writers building. Thought it’d be a fitting tribute to Binky & Bongo considering it’s Matt Groening’s main building 😉

Hi guys! I wonder if you can help me… I’m still waiting for the update (iPhone user). Even went to the App Store and an update is showing there. But when I click “update”… it just opens Tapped Out, but with no update. No “downloading update” or anything like that. I can’t visit friends at the moment. When I try to, the game says, “(such and such neighbour) has newer content than you. It’s update time!”. I click “OK”. It takes me to the “synchronizing” opening screen, then opens the game as normal. No update. Burns, Ned and Homer are all “waiting for something to do”. Could this be because of my timezone or something? I live in Australia. Any suggestions? Apart from contacting Origin?
Have you tried restarting your phone? Sometimes something as simple as that will help trigger it in the app store.
At times an old iOS version may not allow you to update your game. It happened to me and I could not play anymore as my PC broke down and I could not run iTunes for one year.
Is anyone else getting the glitch in their game where blue houses cost $216000? Annoying, but blue houses sell for $54000 each!I sold 10 unneeded houses and made $540000! Also, Kwik e Marts cost just $580! Anyone else seeing this?

They are not very imaginative with their events anymore. The last one had a good theme, but was too repetitive and too long.
