Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Well I knew something would hit this week…and something is here Level 54!
Level 54 will start with Lisa…and you’ll get a task for Marge, which will be replaced by a task to build Shotkickers for $1,060,000 (24hr Build).
As always we’ll be back with more as we go through it…more details below the fold…
Note: Level 54 brings a new requirement for Righteousness. The requirement to maintain 5 stars increased by 12 points over Level 53…so if you see a dip in your rating, that’s why. We’ll cover all the conform-o-meter details in the breakdown post, for now just wanted to let you know you may see a Righteousness dip..
As mentioned above Lisa gets things going for Level 54…HOWEVER you may see a popup with Lenny appear as well. If you see this (I did), this is a task for the Black Box. (Black Box Black Out) This will have you send Lenny, Carl, Wiggum, Moe and Barney to drink at the Black Box. This is not part of Level 54, I believe it’s just EA’s way of showing you the characters that now have tasks at the Black Box…

Buildings
Shotkickers- $1,060,000, 24hr build. 4×9 in size. This will add Ruth Powers to Springfield once built.
Seething Sisters- $340,000, 24hr Build. 5×8 in size. This will not appear in your store until AFTER you trigger To Catch a Cougar questline. This questline will not start until after you’ve triggered Part 4 of A Woman’s Work.
Decorations
Fort Adventure- $125,000. A decoration for Springfield, improves Vanity. 5×4 in size.
Mr. Powers Car- $170,000. Another car for Springfield..this time a freemium one! Improves Vanity.
Characters
Ruth Powers- Comes with Shotkickers
Premium
Buildings
Powers House- 150 Donuts. 8×6 in size (instant build). Comes with Laura Powers.
Decorations
Homer’s Ballet- 35 Donuts. 7×7 in size. Adds 0.75% bonus on all cash and XP.
Characters
Laura Powers- Comes with the Powers House.

Same for me, I have had new decorations listed in the store, but no Shotkickers – until i entered Krustyland and suddenly Lisa triggered the quest, even through she was busy in Springfield…

Yay! So glad there are multiple freemium items. I wish the car wasn’t unique, but glad it doesn’t take donuts.
Now to figure out where to put everything.
I could place at least a dozen of those cars. It’d be nice to have a few different vehicles to put ‘in’ my car parks – as it is they have one or two _Ondas and the rest sits empty. And if we could put them on the roads, well……

I love the simpsons and ive played IT since whacking day and bought all premium products and gained as many freemium products as possible . I think we should all get the opportunity to buy these twice since the day we started playing , it’s hard to talk to EA about this ,

For once, I had perfect timing due to a late start and an accidental tap. I didn’t start the app until after 9 AM today and while clearing the last couple of characters from their overnight tasks I accidentally tapped the Bart & Milhouse icon. The app went into update mode, so I came here for news and voila – for the first time ever, all of my characters (except Stampy and Brandine) are clear to start the new level.
Now before anyone thinks I’m bragging, this is just Karma balancing out the fact that this morning the dog barfed in the middle of my home office/studio. So, there goes a half day of work and a couple of deadlines, but at least I can start a new TSTO level without feeling rushed.

How much barf can there be for for hours of cleaning?
Since you asked, the size of a pie pan 😵 and on carpet right where I stand to take product photos. I didn’t spend that much time cleaning as letting the cleaning products do what they do, but that meant the area was off limits.
Dangit, once again I don’t have enough money to build Shotkickers lol. Stupid Money Mountain, I took a beak yesterday to recoup but I should’ve recouped earlier! I could sense a level…also, need to start saving donuts, I’ve being dying to get Laura in my game!
I caved and bought 60 donuts to get Laura and the Powers house…I guess I can’t say I’m freemium anymore lol…this is two levels in a row I’ve bought donuts!
Same here, I exchanged all my Krustyland tickets for cash but am still missing about 150 grand…
Ever since the mountain and the Monsarno event where no one was earning cash, I’ve been struggling to keep up. So I’m going to refocus on earning money to get Shotkickers now, then see about the mountain. I’m halfway through the final level, so I’m sooooo close! It would be nice to hit the jackpot at the dog track right about now lol
I grabbed Homer’s Ballet right away – I just had to! And set it next to the outdoor opera 🙂
I didn’t have Lisa or Marge or anybody free for that matter when I got the update this morning. Nothing happened following the level update screen but the quest line triggered when I went to Krustyland. Just a heads up for anybody who might need to do the same thing.
I heard reports of this happening to other people as well as myself.
I haven’t started level 53 yet! Still working on the Money Mountain. I’ve been lax with collecting money and finishing tasks the past couple weeks. I think I really needed a break after Terwilligers – the first time in over 2yrs of playing I’ve felt like that. Just goes to show how taxing that event really was!
You’ve got your priorities out of whack. There is no rush for Money Mountain at all and the ROI stinks anyway. It’s definitely a back-burner project compared to the level quest lines.
1) Debating over Laura and the Power(s) House – if I get it I would want to place it next to the Simpson House but I already have (don’t remember the official name, I can check but you’ll know what I mean) the Hipster sunroof Neighbor House.
2) As far as Lenny and Moe going to the Black Box I was hoping they would run into the 2 (mostly silent) barflies and bring them into the game. Since Ruth is back (a recurring silent background character).
3) Yet I can’t help but imagine Homer singing about is fake name “Max Power.”
4) Ruth a Power Plant worker? (I don’t recall her as a plant worker though I get the image of her like Rosie the Riveter)
5) before Carl mentioned The Black Box I started to think he was refering to the Gay Bay with Julio as a character. But no.
6) yes I was hoping for an event but I’ll accept a new level :p
7) Alissa if no one has mentioned it recently you and your blog is always awesome 🙂
Referring to the “Cool Brown House” in the #1 portion of my comment. Since both the “Cool Brown House” and the Power(s) House were in the same location next to the Simpsons – though I guess the Powers House could be there new home after they moved out – yet believe it is identical to the original…. (I’m Overthinking this aren’t I?)
*note I like saying Power(s) House instead of Powers House because it sounds like Power House which in an odd way I find funny :p

Interesting, my Barbarian Homer showed up with a 2 hour task to take Lisa out for veggie pizza. I don’t recall that being there. Maybe Lisa has always been busy by the time I have gotten to him though.

There is no end date. Levels don’t expire.
Not sure if this is an unusual bug… I had Lisa on a 4hr task but when I visited KrustyLand the dialog popup for Lisa/Marge automatically popped up and gave me the task to build Shotkickers and once I returned to my Springfield I was able to purchase and start the Shotkickers build 🙂
Sometimes that happens if the character that triggers it isn’t needed for the task itself, just the trigger.

I’m with you there. In fact, any odd number usually gives me problems. Mainly getting symmetry for the roads/driveway thingies.

Looks like the cost multipliers went down. L51 Monroe Family Therapy Center dropped from 1.2M bucks to 600k bucks.
Powers house is currently giving 106,000 xp to build….
That is a excellent episode (from season 5 if I recall) and it is great to see it added to TSTO. Now we just need a Dragnet style voice over to tell us what happened to everyone!
Just what our Springfields need – another bar. Maybe if we didn’t have so many bars, we wouldn’t need so many prisons! 😉

Oh thank goodness you’re so quick! Everyone was on task when the update hit my game and I didn’t know who to free up to get Level 54 going. It was a ridiculous moment of panic and I’m slightly embarrassed to admit it… such is the life of a dedicated skyfinger!!!

They changed the multipliers back to what they were too! Just after building the Slaughterhouse from level 52 which went down by nearly 300,000 ! I’ve also noticed that Dolph looks different now as well, very happy with this level -looks good!

I keep trying to build the Powers house and it keeps crashing, I tried to build it 4 times in a row, every time it’s crashed…..it wont seem to let me build it at all.
Try hard closing and restarting TSTO.
Excellent! Glad to have two additional female characters. Perhaps there’s still hope for Cookie Kwan and Lindsey Naegle to appear in the future!

I doubt it…usually only characters voiced by the main ones are voiced in the game. Unfortunately, i’m at work at the moment so I can’t check with the sound.
