Level 54 hit our tappin’ devices earlier today and with it arrives yet another female for our Springfields, Ruth Powers! Jimbo’s favorite cougar to chase…
So now that there’s a new Level in our tapping devices, you know what that means right? Time for another Turbo Tappin! So with that let’s jump right in and Turbo Tap the Main Questline (Freemium) of Level 54!
As we mentioned in the Level 54 rundown post the main questline is started by Lisa, and the quest to build yet another bar for Springfield..Shotkickers…and wait 24hrs while it builds.
Remember…this is NOT timed. This is simply a Level update. You do not have to complete it right this very second. So take your time and have fun with it!

And that concludes the Level 54 questline!
It’s a fun update to keep us busy tapping in the down time! Plus it’s always nice to see Marge get a friend again 😉
If you run the Level 54 questline from start to finish, without using donuts, it will take you 4.5 days to complete without the Jimbo questline (but includes building Seething Sisters) and an additional 20hrs if you have Jimbo.

Not a real problem but I don’t understand your math. 24 hour build, then a 4 hour task, followed by 8, 16, 16, 8 then 8. That’s 84 hours or 3.5 days. It’s not really an extra 20 hours if you have Jimbo either, it will work out that Ruth can wield her pepper spray for 12 hours while Smithers is doing paperwork for 8, adding only 4 hours to the level if you have Jimbo. Jimbo will then tune up Ruth’s car while the gang is drinking at Moe’s for 8 hours. So it’s 88 hours of gameplay if you have Jimbo and the level is licked. I wouldn’t mind another long level that takes 8 days or longer but this isn’t it. Happy tapping neighboreeno’s!

Thank you! I knew there was no way I had finished if it should have taken as long as posted. I thought I had come unstuck in time again. 😜
Here is my method of getting/having enough XP when a new level comes out.
When finished playing for the night, send EVERYONE out on a task for 8 hours. Do this every day and soon you will have enough surplus to automatically move up to the next level.
When I automatically moved up to level 54, the very next day I had enough to move up to level 55 when it comes out.
I plan to have enough XP after moving up to level 55 to be ready for 56.
I have been doing this method for the last year with great success. Be patient, until you get a surplus you might not be ready when a new level comes, but soon you will be.
So EA has Jimbo on sale then releases a level you need him for. Good thinking. Might want to try it other way around next time.

You don’t need to buy jimbo to complete the quest. You only miss a sidequest with him.
My point exactly. We miss out on something because EA does things ass backwards. How many more people would’ve burned doughnuts on reduced price Jimbo if he had a concurrent quest or we had known he had one coming up immediately thereafter? We lose some fun in the game & they lost money. Kind of like having a sale on snow shovels in July. Pointless & lacking logic.

In my thinking if half-off Jimbo wasn’t enough incentive to get him, nothing else would have been.
Anyone else noticed the bar is basically just a redressed version of Lurleen Lumpkin’s bar? Weird how similar it is, as if they half arsed the level to give us something to do as they’re running behind on developing the next event.
It’s actually a separate building from an episode so the fault is likely the animators of the show.
I love the fact on level 54 we can use our Springfield money instead of donuts! Thank you!
Thanks for the updates on Ruth! My only complaint – even though she is Marge’s friend her questlines mainly involve Homer, Lenny, and Carl. Once again Marge gets the shaft. Its strange how little used she is in this game – she doesn’t appear at all in Krustyland and she was one of the few characters who didn’t have any jobs whatsoever during the Terwilliger event. (Heck even Shary Bobbins and Mr. Teeny had jobs during that event!). Maybe when EA eventually releases a level with Cookie Kwan or Lindsey Neagle Marge will have more to do during their questlines.
However, I am glad EA is releasing so many female characters, especially three freemium ones! There definitely is a gender imbalance in their earlier levels that they seem to be correcting in the later ones.
i’d say the lack of female characters earlier in the game reflects the lack of female characters in early seasons, they sure seem to be using more women in episodes as time goes, but its still more focused on men, which result in more recurring men than women, therefore fewer women for tsto 🙁
I think of it this way…the men are more nonsensical than the women on the show and therefore there’s more material for jokes. It’s not a gender preference. Why does everyone think it’s some sort of slight against females? They’re not using us as much for fodder for jokes…isn’t that a good thing?

I used to always max out my XP bar before a new level hit, but the past two levels, I’ve not seemed to have that luxury, yet I haven’t played any less than before. Now, I’m still 30k under the amount I need for level 54, and not wanting to spend $ to beef up my XP (as that $ is needed for the new buildings – which are more and more expensive each time they hit ), I guess I’ll just keep chugging away until I hit level 54 in my normal game play. Just frustrating that the levels aren’t hitting and I am not maxing my XP bar before they do anymore without any change to my gameplay.
I had to laugh when Lisa interrupted the “Make Marge Vacuum Kitchen Sponges” task. That was hilarious!
Maybe next time it will be, “Make Marge run toilet seats through dishwasher.” 😀

Every time there is an update my husband doesn’t automatically level up he has to level himself up and has had to use up a lot of his money! Myself and my son play and with each new level we automatically update so we don’t understand why my husband doesn’t he is soooo mad that he wants to delete the game! Any help?
Does he fill his XP bar and get the bonus donuts? If you do that once you’ll level up once the new level hits. If you don’t you won’t level up.
So we got Jimbo at half price + a building. Great deal. 🙂

I did note a rather glaring grammical error in it (cant remember exactly what it said, but it was supposedly about getting a friend for Marge), which makes whole thing somewhat unintelligible.

I have Lisa on a task for another 6 hours, but the dialog for Level 54 started with Lisa for me when I went into Krustyland. When I left Krustyland I was able to purchase and start build Shotkickers.
Has anyone else had a quest trigger involving Lenny, Carl, Barney, Wiggum, and Moe involving the Black Box? Did this just never trigger for me when I built the Black Box?

Level 54 – I feel like EA paid attention to all of the Tappers complaints regarding a lack of Freemiums available for each new Level ( cause Level 54 is loaded with Freemiums) and a lack of Female Characters (three Freemium Females in Levels 52,53,54) 🙂
Has anybody else noticed that Jimbo’s picture in the corner has changed. Or does it just seem that way to me?
I used to get a sense EA paid attention to what people wanted in the game. It doesn’t seem that way anymore. Everything seems to be obscure or weird and most of my new stuff goes right in to storage.
No dirt ground cover, or dirt paths or new trees or bits and bobs that would make decorating more fun.
Maybe I just need a break, but there was once a charm to this game that seems to be gone, now. There’s no building and creating anymore, it’s just find a space and plop the new weird mattress fort somewhere. Blah.

It’s funny though because the stuff we’re seeing now is stuff we saw people request last year. So i think they’re still listening, just takes them a while to have the concept stick. That’s my own two cents anyway…
I updated my game just few mins back nd had got a task for marge…i thot of assigning the task after I complete collecting cash.bt now that task is not showing as pending task nd no such taskis showing under marge. Did i do something wrong?
The first task for Marge is just a “joke” task. It’s quickly replaced with the task to build shotkickers.

I’m definitely happy with my 2 recent purchases that were on sale, Jimbo and the Aztec theater. 115 donuts for that combo was well worth it.

So I’m super happy about everything TSTO related today. I logged into my game this afternoon and was rewarded with 2 doughnuts for level 54. Today was also my Mystery box day-of-the-week, and I got 30 more doughnuts!!!!! Woo Hoo!
I love the new additions for level 54.
Oh, also- I almost forgot- I finished building the Money Mt. Yippee! “See my vest, see my vest, made from real gorilla chest”.

That sounds like an Event or a new territory like Krusty Land or maybe a new Game. Futurama Tapped Out (if only). I would love it.
I never watched Futurama so an event wouldn’t interest me one iota. I’d get to take a month off from playing though. Perhaps I wouldn’t come back after. Maybe they’re worried that there are quite a few like me. Who knows?
