4th of July has come and gone in Springfield! Once again we were treated with plenty of thing that go boom, past presidents & silly story-lines. So now that we’ve got a little more red, white and blue in Springfield, just how do all those new items impact the Conform-O-Meter? Now that the event is nearing the end, I thought now would be a good time to take a look at how all of these items impact the Conform-O-Meter ratings.
The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and XP from everything you collect in the game. When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town. If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.
While the 4th of July Event brought no changes to the Conform-O-Meter requirements, it did bring us a ton of new items to add to our Springfield. Let’s take a look at how all of the new “goodies” impact our rating:

Holo flag costs 15 donuts?
Still at a full 5 stars on my Conform-o-Meter. The 13 bonuts on the 4th put me at 100, so I plunked down 90 for the Nighthawk Diner. I wanted it last year, but didn’t have enough donuts (had been playing less than 6 months at that time). It’s visually cool, comes with a character, and boosts Gluttony which is exceeded in difficulty only by Consumerism, so it’s a good deal for 3 reasons. And 90 donuts for a building/character combo is one of the better donut deals available.
If I get enough donuts before it leaves the store I’ll also get the Lisa/Little Lady Liberty, but I don’tknow if that will happen. The 10 Community Prize donuts only brought me up to 46, so I need 29 more in a fairly short window of time.
