Something is really wrong with the event currency I think. I have always been able to do the events quite easily. This one seems to go really slowly and the crafting ones barely come at all.

So I got a late start, and while I bought every premium outfit/character/item in the store for this event, I am still only at around 5k intel as of about 2:00 pm on the 30th of March. It looks like I am already nearly 10k intel behind, should I even try to catch up or is it impossible for me now?
You should be able to catch up just fine with all those premiums if you tap at least 4 times a day, 5 if/ when you can swing it, and do the dossier tasks, daily tasks, and neighbor visits. Relax and have fun!
We’re only on day 3 of a *40* day event! It’s WAY too early to throw in the towel. Yes, it’s definitely still worth continuing…worst case scenario, you’ll miss a prize from this act.
I have already decided to set aside up to 400 donuts for agent Bont in case I am short. My <3 of bond films is the entire reason I went berserk buying everything premium related to this event.
I hate these big events. Every 4 hrs for 40 days?!? Thats is overkill. I got the too many items warning months ago. Also, how do you get the blue currency? I never get any. Been sittin on 36 for a whole day.
You don’t have to do it every 4 hours, its just that the questline task takes 4 hours to complete.
The too many items warning tends to have its limit added every time there is a new update/event. Last event the limit went from 9200 to 9500. It will probably increase soon.
And yes the schematics are normal. EA took away our crafting ability so that they could scam us out of more donuts by offering a solution such as another unnecessary building that drops crafting currency as income if you pay 200 donuts or something. Create a problem, suggest a solution and profit from cheating your customers!

Running behind. For sure. I just hit yesterday’s number in most of my towns. And, my daily tasks have been “Acquire schematics” Ha. How am I supposed to do that? And if I manage to get 40, I get a whopping 30 as the reward. 30. Of course, I have only gotten 29 so far. So 30 would be double what I have now…..
The calendars are a great help. Is there any way you can pin them so that they appear daily? Sometimes further into the events, I have trouble finding them.

Quick access to all of the posts (including each acts calendar) for the event. It’s basically every post pinned to the side of the site. I can’t pin to the top because (what’s happened in the past) many players think that’s the only post we’ve written because they don’t scroll down to look at other posts. So they either a. think we haven’t updated the page in weeks and/or b. ask a million questions about posts we’ve already written because they don’t look for them. Silly I know, but it’s happened many many times in the past.
My game hit a glitch that worked in my favor for a change I’ve collected all items and on bonuts already. Around midnight edt last night the tan suits kept respawning every time I tapped them.

This event seems harder than previous ones, but at least it’s not the quest for stuff. That’s just the worst game ever created. Don’t know why I still play it lol
Re Quest for stuff, think my hubby asks himself the same thing, he has never been able to finish a mission, always crashing, beck bought him a new kindle in hope that it was just the old one having nasties, but no, crashes around twice every time he tries to play.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s to trust in EA. If you tap every four hours, at least three or four times a day, and you do your quota of neighbor visits, you should be able to get all the prizes and at least one of each craftable (assuming you’re not a relatively new/low-level player….it can be difficult to compete everything for your first event). If the math isn’t adding up right, then trust that EA will make adjustments in payouts during the event.
They WANT most people to be able to get all of the freebies (although they also want to make out challenging enough that you stop have to check in several times a day). There’s less money in making a game so difficult that people stop wanting to play, and besides, it’s just not their style (unlike, say, TinyCo, which makes the Family Guy game).
Sandra is correct. I just awoke, cleared the boards and was awarded my “Free Land Token” – 6:00am local time, 18 hours ahead of schedule.
It’s those Blue tokens that are slow. I need another ~20 to complete Level 1. I think I will do that today, which is about one level every thre days which is just about what is necessary.
Back to 😴 sleep
As you progress you need hundreds of those blue tokens to go through the levels.
At the rate I’m on at the moment I will not even achieve halfway.

sooo.. getting 2-4 blue schematics for every twenty something tanned men is normal? I’ve been playing this game for years, but never encountered this lousy droprates for crafting before!
It’s normal for Act 1. Payouts increase for each following act.
Nah I think it’s usually a bit more than this. Yes sure it does get easier but very slow start this time.
They did that before in one of the recent events, but everyone seems to have forgotten, probably because everything turned out okay in the end. Trust in EA….they didn’t spend all that money designing prizes that they figure no one will be able to earn. The crafting currency will become more plentiful as the event progresses.
So I am a bit behind I got a late start so far I have 9k out of the 11k I should have any hope of getting act 1 done?
So frustrating I played the mini surveillance game and the game froze at the end so I did not get any of my rewards 😡😡😡😡. (Thanks for all your hard work on event info) 💜😘
Still not getting a single schematic from “tan men”, only from scan every four hours. I got some yesterday from tapping the men, today – nothing. Can’t craft if the men just always give Intel and nothing else. Hope my glitch gets fixed like others soon!

I’m pretty sure that mine isn’t collecting any. My daily prize was 30 schematics and my total did not go up.

Well im really enjoying this event and how EA are producing these event’s. Pleanty of building’s and decorations to be had and as we have just obtained some land I’ve managed to redesign the left side next to my festive area in my mountain area. Looking forward to the rest of the event.
The crafting currency is seriously screwed up.. I’m a daily player (3-6 times a day) and I’m on level one still 🙁 the tan men drops so rarely, maybe once in every spawned group of guys!!! Every event for the last couple years I’ve been able to craft n finish off nicely, usually with three days before they end. This time, even though I bought Scorpio, I think I will struggle with reaching theese goals. I’m already behind…

Have you noticed how everyone freaks out about ‘are they going to post about…. and about…..’ like they have not been visiting this site ever and know that we get info when we get it. It’s not like these guys (who do a brilliant job, thank you) are hold out for shiz n giggles. The demand for information to be instant is just ridiculous. I’m sure Alissa, Patric, Wookie and Bunny have lives they’d like to enjoy as opposed as spending all their time away from family and friends adhering to our every request.

Yayyyyy! Then men in tan are now issuing 2 schematics for crafting along with 12 intel…they fixed it!
And then maybe not..so far, only 2 out of 6 have given schematics…better than nothing, but not great…
Not on my end. Schematics are far and few between.
I’m lucky if I get 2-4 schematics a day from tapping (Spies) Men in Tan, and I’m on every 1 to 2 hours. First event that I’ve experienced this issue. Hope they increase the payout. I think I did earn 30 today as my daily challenge prize. Max I’ve earned from Drone Scan is maybe 4-5 every 4 hours. Still, I’m loving this event 🕵🏼🔍💛
Same issues as SpideyPig, (although it’s more like every 3-4 hours I log on to my game) I have the same bad drop rates. Hope they get it fixed, and drop a ton of schematics to make up for the first days with almost nothing 🙂 I’m so behind on crafting already!
Only some of them. Every third or fourth gives the schematics for me.
Same problem here too. I’ve only received 125 schematics so far but have almost 12,000 intel so far. At this rate I’ll miss out on some of the craftables. Otherwise am loving this event so far!
I don’t get how we would get that many in the first day, as the event only went live at like 21:00 PM, so that would mean maybe getting two cycles in. Four would be impossible. Also the crafting currency seems really hard to come by for some reason.
I can’t speak for anyone else, but when I know an event is likely to hit I make sure I have a few daily tasks saved, so I can dismiss one right away for a chance to get event related prizes. That scored me an extra 1000 cheap Intel right off the bat.
I’m not getting any tan man spawns. Only time I get any is when using the scan. Is this normal?

I liked the 3-hour event tasks EA had been using recently….even if I was only plaything every 4 hours, it helped avoid timeslip issues.

As long as you can hit the 4hr mark and if you have a full (100) neighbor’s to visit it should be able to get. The calendar seems daunting but it’s acuarate. Just make sure you don’t miss all the activities associated with the event. Happy Tapping😉
