Turbo Tappin’ Halloween 2018: Act 1

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

There are two predictable events in TSTO every year, Halloween and Christmas.  They’re generally two events guaranteed to excite tappers and get everyone talking about TSTO.  Well, the Halloween event hit our games earlier today, and with it arrived Vampires and garlic…lots and lots of garlic…as we return to the traditional monster filled Halloween in TSTO.

As was mentioned on the rundown post Act 1 of Halloween runs until October 17th, and you’ll need to send 5 Springfielders on a 6s task to get things started.

Don’t forget the Questline will help you get some bonus prize currency…so make sure you complete it to earn that extra currency…also the questline is there to guide you.  Make sure you complete the main questline in order to unlock things like neighbor actions, crafting and more.

Now let’s work our way through the garlic bites of the Act 1 questline….

Halloween 2018 Is Live! Act 1 Details and Rundown (Updated and Complete)

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s update Wednesday!  Woohoo!  Who’s excited for all new content in TSTO?  After all that downtime (seriously was a SLOW second half of September) everyone should be excited for something…anything to hit our games!

Well…that something has arrived!  It’s officially Halloween in our pocket-sized towns!  Ghosts, goblins, werewolves, mummies, vampires and more!  Bring on the pumpkins, murky water, fall foliage and grind fest..Treehouse of Horrors here we come!

Remember this was an app store update that hit our games YESTERDAY.  So if you didn’t download the update check your app store for it now…we’ll wait.  (if you don’t see it listed in your update section try searching the store for Tapped Out)

Now on with the update, more details below the fold…

This auto starts with dialogue from Dracula, followed by a 6s task for Springfielders and a 6s task for Dracula if you have him.  After this you’ll have a 6s task for Ned…

P.S. I’ve noticed my game is very laggy…not sure if it’s just because much is initially going on or a flaw in the game.  We’ll know soon enough

Halloween Update Day!

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s update day!  Yes, later today (as in 10am ET, so about 3.5 hrs from now) we should see Halloween hit our games…it’s not live yet.

Remember, this is an APP STORE update, and the update hit app stores yesterday.  So if you haven’t updated yet you’ll need to check your App Stores for the update.  (if you don’t see it try hard closing your app store and restarting your device.  Also, try searching tapped out.  Sometimes it doesn’t appear in the update list)

There’s no significant prep to worry about for this event, just remember to keep certain characters free (listed in this spoiler post) for event tasks.

We’ll be back at 10am ET with the Act 1 details until then treat this post as an Open Thread to ask “is it here yet? is it here yet?”…. 😉
