Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Are you ready to reach true enlightenment? Feel an inner peace you may have been missing in your life? Inner peace might be nice after the Robots tried to destroy Springfield… Get ready as Siddmartha comes to Springfield to bring us all a little calmness in the latest event to hit our pocket-sized towns…Springfield Enlightened! As always, loads of dialogue with this one, so be sure to read along to see what happens! And of course, I’ll be posting it as each week wraps up…
Once again we see another multi-event in Springfield. So love them, or hate them, they’re still here. So let’s all try to make the best of this…
Anywho….things kick off with a series of 6s tasks for Lisa and Bart.
After you’ve completed the initial task you’ll kick off the Springfield Enlightened Event!
First, remember this was an app store update available for download. So if you haven’t already done so, and you don’t see the Splash Screen above for your game, head to your app store and update TSTO. You may have to search the store for Tapped Out, as it doesn’t always appear on the update list initially…

Now on with the details for Act 1!
Here’s EA’s event synopsis:
Siddmartha brings the message of Buddhism to Springfield. It doesn’t go quite as planned, but eventually Springfielders really take to the slower pace of true enlightenment, and also the comeuppance of karma. Unfortunately, everyone takes the slower pace a little too literally… nobody is doing anything, nobody is buying anything, society grinds to a halt.
As the most affected by the changes, Lovejoy, Quimby, and Apu band together to stop the nonsense. They make an unlikely alliance with Siddmartha’s brother, Prince Gautama, who is more than happy to bring his sister down a peg. The Prince corners his sister, who is now quite the guru in town, making her take a public stance on donuts. When she declares them to be self-indulgent and against the ways of the Buddha, it angers the donut-eaters of Springfield. The Prince takes the opportunity to launch his own offshoot philosophy, “Buddhism With Donuts”. With things going south for Siddmartha, the Dalai Lama arrives to provide some much needed insight. Together can they salvage the fight for Buddhism in Springfield?
We should all know by now unless of course, you’re new to TSTO that the prizes for this event follow the same questline format to unlock as our regular mini-events do.
Just like every large event recently, this is not your typical Major Event. And there are pros and cons to that, and everyone will find their own pros and cons. And some people’s pro will be someone else’s con.
As always, I just ask that you have an open mind, and reserve judgment until we’re into the event. It’s 5 weeks long, it should be fairly easy to complete, you’ll unlock a bunch of new prizes and no crafting to grind through, so let’s just have some good old-fashioned TSTO fun! And, as long as you don’t rush things, you won’t get bored because it’ll change each week!
Here’s the event schedule:
Act 1 Starts June 9th (WEDNESDAY)
Act 2 Starts June 18th (FRIDAY)
Act 3 Starts June 27th (SUNDAY)
Act 4 Starts July 6th (TUESDAY)
Event Ends July 14th, 2021 (WEDNESDAY)
As I stated above, the initial quests are 6s. Once completed you’ll start the Girl, Enlightened questline, which is the Act 1 story to follow. This is how you’ll unlock the Act 1 prizes.
Note: Some of you have mentioned you are having trouble getting the event to start. You need to download the latest update and the requirements for this are: Level 15 and you MUST have Marge unlocked. It won’t trigger without those two.

Lisa: …and at that moment, Siddmartha achieved enlightenment.
Lenny: Wow, Lisa. That was really beautiful.
Lisa: Um, what are you doing in Sunday school?
Carl: Learning about…Sunday.
Lisa: But I thought you two were Buddhist.
Lenny: We thought you were, too.
Lisa: Wait. You’re just here for the free donuts, aren’t you?
Carl: Not JUST the donuts. We like the coffee too.
Lenny: You know who I’d like to have coffee and donuts with? Siddmartha.
Carl: I’d go with Richard Gere.
Bart: Wish granted.
Carl: *gasp* You can summon Richard Gere?!
Bart: Pfft. No. There’s not enough coffee in Brazil for that. I meant Siddmartha.
Make Bart Manifest Siddmartha- 6s
Make Lisa Question Reality– 6s
Lisa: Bart, how did you do that?
Bart: I dunno. How does anything happen around here? EA or Sky Finger.
Lisa: Why does she look exactly like me? It’s creepy.
Siddmartha: Excuse me, I believe it is YOU who looks like ME. And it IS creepy.
And this triggers the entire story premise for each act…
(and yes, just like I did for the past multi-events, I’ll be posting full dialogue for this one before the next act starts)
Now let’s talk about what’s included…
Here’s the Act 1 Synopsis from EA:
Siddmartha comes to Springfield, bringing the teachings of Buddhism along with her. Unfortunately, the townsfolk don’t seem all that interested. That is, until they hear about karma. They quickly see karma as a way to revel in the misfortunes of their enemies and ignore Siddmartha’s arguments to the contrary. Siddmartha seeks the council of Advisor Frink for a way to put Springfield on the right path. He advises her to focus on her Zen.
DO NOT FORGET TO SCROLL UP AND DOWN IN THE TASK BOXES (PICTURED ABOVE) TO BE SURE TO COMPLETE ALL TASKS FOR EACH PART.
I’ll lay out specifically what you need to do for each part in the turbo tappin’ post, but I don’t want any of you to get messed up with this. So don’t forget to SCROLL!

Just saw that there’s a new event….
I’ve been stuck on the “Foo Temple Dog” for the 4th day now. The tasks were all completed and ready to be collected. But after I clicked to collect, the “completed” and “collect” icons didn’t change. I can click the whole day, and it’s still like this. So I ended up with lots of money and XP. But the tasks were stuck.
Contacted EA for help. Was sent a link to possible solutions to my problem. I tried them all, but the issue persists. I replied asking for further help, but didn’t receive any response. I then sent a follow-up the very next day, still no response. I’m sure there won’t be any response today too. So disappointing.
Anyone facing the same issue as me?
Try storing and replacing where they’re doing the task

I can’t start the lotus flower task. It said that it was currently unavailable. I’m on level 16 and had Marge.
Do you have Lisa and Bart free? And do you have a pond in your Springfield?
I don’t get to start the lotus flower task, it said that it was currently unavailable cause I don’t have the area to do it. I’m on level 16 and had Marge. Someone said something about a screamapillar pond to start the task but I checked and there’s nothing in the game that has it.
Yoo I’m having the same problem even 2 years later (the game says to complete the act to end the event) I can’t find a pond anywhere, did you find a pond somewhere at the end?

I don’t know if it’s been re-released since then….I didn’t feel like combing through all of the search results. But feel free to use the Search option all the way to the right on the menu bar to find all of the articles about it!

Just a quick question, my wife as had to start tapping again from the beginning she couldn’t remember the email address she used back in 2013 so anyway is there something she can do to get leveled up quicker ? I’m sure i read something ages ago were you could do something to get you on level 60
Kwik-e-Mart farming from day 1 works great for quick leveling up.

I’m sorry that the Mrs had to start over … increasing your Bonus % XP as quickly as you can will help expedite Leveling Up (make sure every Bracket has 5 ⭐’s , increase your Bonus % XP over 100% – I’m over 1,000%). I will consider this ‘code sign in’ equal to the ‘rollback glitch’ (as in EA has no solution). 🤔

Golden goose as your White whale makes me feel Blue that you don’t have it as I’m sure you’re Red with rage and Green with envy that others have it.
I lieterally can’t do any of the lotus flowers talks because it says I don’t have access to the area but what area do I need for the lotus flowers?
Just to confirm, you’re at level 15 at least and have Bart and Lisa free?
The lotus flowers need to be collected in a pond. In my town that is the screamapillar pond. Maybe you lack a pond?

So many events in Springfield and places to enjoy for people but they have no housing ! Please a simple event with a lot of nice homes for residents to live in…
This is probably the best multi event this year. The theme is something new and different (we had some Buddhist content in the past but not as a full event). The content looks great both prizes and premium items. Mystery box tokens are available on the prize tracks again and don’t take up a prize slot on its own (people with or without the mystery box should be happy with getting an item and a mystery box token at the same time). I got 2 items in the mystery box (Draggle Rock and the Movementarian Compound) and I haven’t had a mystery box since Christmas.
There really isn’t much to 🙄 about, except Visual Character Task as Event Prize (it’s just my opinion that if there is not enough Content for 4 Acts? then make it a 3 Act Event). I think the Kathmandu U will probably take up Real Estate (I will not know until I obtain it) and that leads us to a ‘main gripe’ – Land Expansion – but overall? I am enjoying the puns (kudos writers) and I 💜 the Premium Character Combo (‘Buddha floyvin!’) 😊
I have had another attempt at getting EA to change my game login to one that receives verification emails. I was asked for different details for each game!
They want details of an account set up 8 years ago that was only ever used to play the game.
It is even more annoying that I was logged out by them,I didn’t do it!
They have nothing to suggest, will take no responsibility.
Won’t even accept the mayhem code which you can only get from having previous access to the game!
Just waiting for them to log me out the other game and then after 8 years, nothing!
That new login update is the stupidest thing that’s ever happened to the game. Can never play again unless they bring back passwords. Could you dedicate a whole post to requesting EA to change it back please?

I’m sorry you’re having a problem with EA, Bantos.
I think it’s important to let EA know this is not working by posting on the Official TSTO Facebook Page (I wouldn’t be too harsh with what you choose to post). This is still one of the last EA Mobile Apps still using Origin Account …. this code login is very similar to Origin’s replacement – EA Pay / EA Pay Plus – except there’s been no technical difficulties (beyond the typical Network is down for maintenance).
If you don’t need the mystery box token, do you know what the substitute payout is. I only have 3 items, assuming a coin each act.
Hoping I get a character with my token.

Enjoying Act 1 (so far), writers let loose with plenty of puns (no Mystery Box for me, but I will invest in certain ‘returning Content’), at least it’s a Building + Token as a Prize (that’s 12 🍩’s for me with waiting to see how large that Building is – ok, if you want the Land Expansion? please visit the official TSTO Facebook Page and let EA know! someone already threatened to put up a change.org petition – lol, I don’t think it needs to go that far!) 🤔

I think this event will be great…cool prizes and great buildings/mountains to design around. I hope they add more land with the next event. My town is getting crowded….
Anyone else experiencing choppy, lower frames per second after the event started?
No frame rate, or Network issues, Bob ….. but there used to be in the past (everyone in their Mum logging in to Tap during the beginning of an Event would get a % of Tappers the ‘Bart Simpson Screen of Death’). I will say that IF you have enough RAM (at least 4 Gigs) and ROM (leave a good 5 Gigs extra space) then your frame rate shouldn’t ever lag (be sure you are not running any other Apps when on TSTO).
