Just dropping in with a quick announcement about the next Addicts Live…..
Mark your calendars because the next episode of Addicts Live will be airing tomorrow, Saturday, June 15th at 12:00pm ET (for timezone converter check here).
With the newest update hitting our games this past week, the gang decided to get together to discuss all things Game of Games and the Simpsons E3 panel. So if you’re around come hang out with us as we break it all down for you! 🙂
And those of you that can’t make the live stream, don’t worry a recording of the video will be up for your viewing pleasure after the stream is over. So you’ll be able to catch the re-run. 🙂
As far as what you’ll need for the live stream? Well, nothing different! No new program to sign up for. Just check out TSTO Addicts on Saturday, June 15th and watch for the Addicts Live post around noon. From there you’ll be able to directly play the stream…as if you were watching a regular embedded YouTube video! Nice and simple!
Some exciting news while we’re waiting for Halloween to hit our games….Addicts Live! is now an audio podcast!
While you can still catch the Addicts Live! live stream (new episode will be airing this Saturday, with a special guest), many of you requested a way to just grab an audio podcast version…for when you don’t have the time to sit at your computer and watch us for an hour. And we’ve finally got it all setup! Audio has been tweaked for your listening enjoyment!
So… in case you’re new to this post series… we launched a new feature on the site where I do an audio recap of Seasons of The Simpsons plus whatever other stuff comes out of my mouth. Basically it’s all The Simpsons stuff from the weekly podcast I do. With Totbox on a hiatus from the amazing Throwback posts that I’ve come to love, this is my way of keeping some sort of throwback going and while I’ll miss the hilarity that is Totbox covering episodes of the Best. Show. Ever., I like this format. Shoutout to Alissa for even thinking of this amazing example of the power of double dipping. NOTE: Do not double dip Cheetos… not a good example.
Said overpowering of my taste buds by cheesy poofs aside, one of the goals we’ve had on the site is to provide a variety of different formats for content for y’all. In case you missed my blatant self-promotion from a few months back, I have been recording a podcast of my own where I ramble on about life, the universe, and everything but mostly geek stuff. I’ve been having a great time and somehow have kept the show going for almost one whole year… 50 episodes as of this writing.
Long and short of these throwing back seasons with the fuzzball posts is that I cull all of The Simpsons stuff from my podcast into a shortened version just for the readers of the site. Long versions of Laugh It Up Fuzzball are always available but I’m well aware that the universe and our lives don’t always have the time we’d like for all the entertainment available. I also know everyone doesn’t necessarily want to listen to me ramble on about geekery for an hour or more each week. That being said, I figured (and hoped) some of you might be interested in my thoughts about older seasons of The Simpsons so here we are.In this edition, I cover Season Five of the Best. Show. Ever. Ostensibly, these will be up every time I do a long format episode that includes the Kwyjibo Corner (what I call my Simpsons segment on the podcast). I do a lot of guest episodes and cover other assorted geek things so I don’t always get around to covering Simpsons. What I can promise is lots of geek news, comics, anime, video games, Star Wars, dystopia, movie reviews, and whatever randomness finds its way onto the recording. Anyhoo… without further words since the goal is just to supply an easy listen, here is this week’s Throwing Back Seasons with the Fuzzball.

So… the other week or so, Alissa told me that Totbox planned a hiatus from the amazing Throwback posts that I’ve come to love and while I’ll miss the hilarity that is Totbox covering episodes of the Best. Show. Ever., I wondered if it was time for me to step into the arena and take on each season of The Simpsons. Wow though. Writing about each episode of the show is a task and a half. How to find time to watch each one and then give it the due diligence like Tot? It seemed like something that might end up low on my honey-do list.Of course, then coincidence and a confluence of events occurred. One of the goals we’ve had on the site is to provide a variety of different formats for content for y’all. We already have the occasional gameplay videos from Alissa and I hope you’ve checked out the 5 episodes of Addicts Live. They’re a hoot and I’ve really enjoyed being on the last few. The last frontier we hadn’t crossed yet was just doing a podcast. But wait… I’m already doing that.
