Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Daily Challenges first arrived way back in 2014 with the Stoncutters Event, and since then EA has been improving on them with each Event. Typically we’ll see prizes awarded each day for completing them, and last Christmas we saw a special bonus character for completing every challenge in 24 days!
Well with the 2015 THOH Event EA decided to sweeten the deal and award Bonuts (bonus donuts) for completing a week’s worth of tasks on time (5 tasks in 7 days). And with the 2015 Christmas Event they’ve brought Bonuts back!
Let’s take a quick look at how to unlock the Daily Challenges and earn those sweet bonuts! (20/week)

Update from Alissa 9:20am EDT: Hey Tappers…this should be working for most of you now. If you’re worried about getting the glitch, try storing the shop before you place it.
Beyond that it looks like the tasks started at 0800 Local time…and as you can see below the first task for today is to send 4 youngsters (really only Bart, Lisa, Martin and Milhouse…or just send 1 4 times) to tell spooky stories at the campfire. My strategy for this is to just send Milhouse 4 times since I’m working on Bunnies for my upgrade today…
Hey there Screamereenos!
So EA seems to have launched some items overseas a bit earlier than they were intended. ( It was not set to go for a few more days. Like we always say, can’t go off of the info in files as the golden rule, gotta wait til live to see it play out. EA can, has, and will change. 😉 ) Due to this, here in the U.S. we are flying a lil blind as the Challenges have NOT hit our games…yet.
The Daily Challenges. This will require the House of Evil and just like in the past, have random tasks for you to perform each day to get Rewards. Due to it has not hit our games yet in the U.S., I will have to wait to see it live to verify the stats with what is live. Once I can visually see it AND verify it all matches with the data… we will put out the full details.

Hey hey hey friendereenos!
So I’m sure you noticed I’ve been gone for a while. Suffice to say studying 3 history classes and anthropology with the added duties of surviving the zambie apocalypse kept this walking carpet pretty dang busy during all the Halloween festivities. As penance, I told the lady Addicts as soon as I was back that I’d knock out a few Where Did THAT Come From posts from the Halloween event. As a bonus, I was playing it just the same as all of you and boy howdy was it a doozy. Overall fun but I’m veering from my duties. With no more digression, here’s a Halloween origin for you. This post focuses on the House of Evil and Krusty Doll.
With all of the Halloween premium items that are limited-time it may be overwhelming trying to decide which items to buy and what to pass on. With that limited-time label on items I know it can be tempting to just buy everything you can. But, have no fear! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth your donuts & what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the House of Evil to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button, let’s break down the Pros and Cons of adding this store to your Springfield.
Building: House of Evil
Donut Price: 45 Donuts
-Your Consumerism points will go up +10
-Another unique building for your town.
-Least expensive building of those offered for the event.
-Limited-Time Building. Great for new tappers and Android players who couldn’t play TSTO last year because it wasn’t available on Android.
-No tasks at all
-No animation other than teeny window movement
-Does not come with unlock quests
-No interaction with other characters and/or animals in Springfield
For those holding on tight to their precious donuts, I say this one isn’t worth it for me. 45 donuts isn’t much, but I would prefer a building my characters can visit and interact with. At least some animation. It is the cheaper of the ones available for the event. It does give you “in game value” with the consumerism, but other than that it is just another building. So, unless you’ve already purchased all of the other premium characters/buildings or you’re a completest, I would really wait on this one and save your donuts to decide towards the end of the event if you really want it.
