Level 38 and the Conform-O-Meter

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

So Tuesday (1/14) required us to put our shades back on when we visit Springfield, but we were all still a bit disappointed that there was no new content in that update.  Well Lo and Behold Thursday (1/16) rolls around and BAM update city!  And what better way to welcome in a new Level than a Level 38 Conform-O-Meter post?

With the release of Level 38 many of the requirements to maintain 5 Stars on your Conform-O-Meter have changed, so I want to make sure I get this information out to my favorite Addicts!  Now you’ll have all the information you need to maintain that 5-Star Springfield!

The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and  XP from everything you collect in the game.  When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town.  If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.

The Level 38 update has introduced 2 new buildings, 2 new characters, 3 new decorations, 1 food cart & all new point amounts required to reach a 5-Star Springfield.  At Level 38 here’s what you’ll need to max out your Conform-O-Meter:

Level Indolence Obedience Consumerism/
    Gluttony
38     470      290       262/286
Tree-hugging
     /Vanity
Righteousness Socialism
20,575/32,120          173     1,626

As you can see, Level 38 has increased the requirements across the board.  The Indolence Rating requirement has increased+10 (1 more house), the Obedience Rating requirement has changed by +20, Consumerism Rating requirement has changed by +10, the Tree-Hugging Rating requirement has changed by +1,250, the Vanity Rating requirement has changed by +1,750, the Righteousness Rating requirement has changed by +8 and the Socialism Rating requirement has changed by +96.

Now I’m sure you’re wondering, ‘How will the new buildings/decorations help me max out?’  Well, here’s how:

Item Cost Category Points
Springfield County Court House $319,500 Obedience 10
Springfield Grocery Store $261,000 Consumerism 10
Lady Justice Statue $4,500 Obedience 10
Khlav Kalash Stand $760 Gluttony 10
Green Peace Boat $1,300 Tree-Hugging 200
Knight Boat 40 Donuts Vanity 400

Super excited they’ve added another building for Consumerism back into the game, especially after all of the ones they added over Christmas!  Now it should be a lot easier to uniquely max out your Conform-O-Meter….rather than having 25 Kwik-E-Marts in your town!

Let us know how your Conform-O-Meter rating is doing!  Are you maxed out?  If not, what area currently needs a boost?

Where Did THAT Come From-Stolen Bumper Car

This is another one of those items that has barely a mention in an episode, yet makes it mark into our game. In the Episode: Selma’s Choice, Aunt Selma has taken the kids to the Duff Gardens amusement park. Lisa drinks the “water” in a ride I can say is attempting to resemble it’s a small world and goes nuts. Bart sneaks on to the Barrel Roll ride he isn’t tall enough for by using caramel apples as lifts.

The bar on the ride goes right over Bart instead of securing him.He is hanging on for dear life while shouting to the attendant to stop it.

He is then taken to security. The guard is very upset due to while he was dealing with Bart, hoodlums made off with 3 bumper cars (Dolph, Kearney, and Jimbo). That’s it. Continue reading
