Level 38 popped into our games FINALLY! WOOHOO!! With it some new and interesting items to put around your Springfield. Like the Khlav Kalash Stand. You can purchase it for $760 and get as many as you want.
Wookieelog… Julian Date 023…. today’s mission from Captain Alissa to seek out the last Level 38 item and write a Where Did THAT come from for it. Danger is imminent and the subject’s originality may be elusive but failure is not an option. Scanning content for freemium building (beep boop beep)…. (blip beep blip)…. (leave a message at the beep)…..
Ah! Here it is! The Springfield Courthouse… an item that’s been coveted by tappers for almost a year and its itinerant dweller… Judge Roy Snyder. What to say about this beautiful piece of architecture? Well, click more if you’d like to see my ramblings on it.
WOOHOO!!! BOATS!! Nothing makes me more happy than to see ships out in the Squidport Harbor. So I am all sorts of giddy to see new boats being released with our Level 38 update.
The Greenpeace boat is a purchasable item for only $1300 in game dollars. You can buy several of them if you are so inclined. It looks really cool.
Blue Haired Lawyer: Ladies and gentlemen of the jury. Who do you find more attractive, Tom Cruise or Mel Gibson? Judge Snyder: What is the point of all this? Blue Haired Lawyer: Your Honor, I’m so confident of Marge Simpson’s guilt, that I can waste the court’s time rating the superhunks. Lionel Hutz: Ooohh. He’s gonna’ win. Marge: Mr. Hutz!
Aaaaaaggggggg! A lawyer… kill it, kill it! All of a sudden I’m thinking about Dick the Butcher in Shakespeare’s Henry the Sixth and his famous line: “The first thing we do, let’s kill all the lawyers.”. It’s also mentioned in the Eagles song “Get Over It”.
Wow… rambling and I just started? I think that’s a new record. So… this post is about our newest premium character, the Blue Haired Lawyer (BHL). For 90 donuts, you can add this character to your income earning arsenal. Not my place to say whether you should buy him, but check out this post by Alissa if you need some help making up your mind. He has a 10 part quest so that’s nifty.
Hey Everbunny! (and no, I can’t spell…not my fault…I’m too distracted. Mmmmmmmm distractions.)
Figured I would get this information out to you as the new Level 38 has made some changes within the game. Specifically, Squidport Tile build times and pricing.
Wookiee back again, check the blog and wreck it, Addicts let’s begin…
Whoa there…. Whoa there… sorry about that folks. Sometimes my imagination horse has a mind of its own. All this legal stuff in TSTO has me checking my rearview mirror way too much and making sure all is in order in my town. Wouldn’t want Wiggum, Eddie or Lou to be able to catch me on a technicality while I loitered outside Lard Lads, right?
For today’s WDTCF, I thought it’d be cool to dish on not only the NEW Lady Justice Statue we just got but also to include the Little Lady Justice statue from Level 33. I like to think they’re sisters.
In life, there are wins and losses. For me, I try to concentrate on all the wins. Did any of you read a little post I wrote last week? I may have mentioned a certain grocery store in it. Sure it was in reference to a Valentine’s Day wish list, but looky here, looky here… BAZINGA… the Springfield Grocery Store!
Welcome Addicts to a new addition to our posts. In this little game of ours, we tend to forget those characters that are few and far between. We get so involved in the game, so into the latest events…that we sometimes forget to pay attention to the little things. The little details that make the Springfield world go around. The thing that seems to be really lacking/missing from Springfield.
What exactly is it I am going on about? What is so terribly important to the game that would draw such attention. WOMEN OF COURSE! To be a bit more specific, The Real Housewives of Springfield (and maybe a mistress or 3. Gotta have the drama aspect in any series, right?).
So keep your eyes on our blog as we take you on a new journey into the lives of each of the women currently and NOT currently available in the game.
Level 38 is here (woohoo!) and EA decided to go all legal on us and rolled out the much anticipated Blue-Haired Lawyer. And with the little Devil Wears Blue quest preview tease we all got, you may be asking “Should I Spend Donuts On THIS?” Well before you hit that confirm button, lets break down the Pros and Cons of adding this Legal Eagle to your Springfield.
Pros:
-Reasonably priced. At 90 donuts he’s not the cheapest character in the game BUT he’s the same price as Dr. Nick & within 5 donuts of The Rich Texan and Arnie Pye
-Premium tasks that earn 50% more than regular characters
-Voiced
-Comes with a quest line, that’s 10 parts (so it will take you a little while to complete)
-Has a few outdoor tasks
–Unlocks at Level 1 so if you’re a new Tapper this is a great character to add to your game to help you earn more money. This has since been changed, he now unlocks at Level 35
-Unlocks a hilarious new 16-hr task for Mr. Burns (Blue-Haired Lawyer Dino Ride)
-Another Blue-Haired Character to add to your game
Cons:
– Doesn’t come with a building.
-At 90 donuts he’s at the higher end of the premium characters that doesn’t come with a building.
-After his quest line he has no other interactions with other characters in Springfield.
Final Thought:
Personally I purchased the BLH, but i’m a bit of a completest. I enjoyed his questline and the “slip-n-fall” mentality. And I like adding different characters to the game, I really felt like Springfield could use a lawyer to help defend against Wiggum’s crazy arrest record!
However, if your donut budget is limited you might want to hold off on this purchase. BLH is not Limited-Time and will be in TSTO until the game is over, so there is no rush. If you’re thinking about saving your donuts, for now, in anticipation of a Valentine’s Day Event (and those Limited-Time items) that might be your best bet.
Shhhh…Alissa thinks those new “locks” she got will hold me and the Fuzzball. Psssssh, as if. Now…what did I sneak out for? Oh, yah…WOW…I can’t believe another week has passed me by. Went so fast. Did it go quickly for you?
Well just in case you missed anything, here is a recap of what happened during the week.
