No change as of yet to the Halloween Event…but let’s switch gears.
Hi there again. You ready for me to Kram more gibberish down your ear holes? No? Too bad, I’m gonna do it anyway. 😛
Let’s see…we covered Jimbo and Shauna…so on to the next bully aka “toughie”. Ready? No? What do you mean you gotta pretend to work? I know you’re surfing the net while “working”. Boss is there? Sigh. Fine. Just make EVERYONE wait while you look busy.
This weeks item was brought to us smack in the middle of the Halloween Event (thanks EA for that level 36 surprise). The Noiseland Arcade was dropped into our Goo tapping lil laps along with the Toughie, Dolph. It is a basic looking building. Along the lines of the other strip mall looking storefronts. So the question is, just WHERE have you put yours?
Jimbo Jones…Bully for hire. Actually, I bet he would just do it for free. In my lil rambling this time, I am going to break down a lil bit about this Bully. I hope you have your lunch money hidden well, extra pairs of drawers in case yours end up on the flag pole, and a buddy hiding in the bushes with a ladder to help you down off the flag pole.
Well hello there all you classy tappers and tappettes!
As if the Halloween Update wasn’t enough to keep us busy, EA heard the groans of boredom from some and dropped Level 36 into the mix. Still think they don’t listen to the consumers?
In the mix of 36 (rhymed intentionally), came some really cool new stuff. One item though that apparently isn’t too popular is the Springfield Museum of Natural History. I personally love this building because I am a huge history buff. Some day, I hope to teach history in my real life. For now, I’ll stick with finding the “history” behind the cool new stuff we keep on getting.
A new addition brought to use by level 36 is the Noiseland Video Arcade. Just where is this item from? Well, Bunny here again to give you just a lil info on the Video Arcade. It has been placed all over throughout the Simpsons Series. Some for many scenes, others just a flash. Some of the episodes you will catch it in is Moaning Lisa, Bart Gets an “F”, The War of the Simpsons, When Flanders Failed, Boy-Scoutz ‘n the Hood, The Springfield Files, Bart the Mother, The Real Housewives of Fat Tony, to name a few.

…when we last left off Dolph was feeling jealous of Bart’s sudden “acceptance” by the other Bullies he convinces him to mess with Luigi’s recipe. Fat Tony was not pleased. We pick the walkthrough back up with Fat Tony calling for a “shake down” on those responsible for the lost business at Luigi’s…
Running With the Bullies Pt. 12 After tapping Fat Tony
Fat Tony: My sources point to a gang of schoolyard bullies. Looks like they just graduated to the big leagues. Legs, Louie, I want you to find these kids and give them a lesson in economics. Make sure it doesn’t go over their heads. Legs: Finally some acknowledgement for my Masters in Fiscal Studies. All those night school classes. Louie: I think he just wants us to shake ’em down, Legs. But we’re all still proud of you. Make Legs Threaten Bullies- 8hrs
Make Louie Threaten Bullies- 8hrs Keep Nelson free when complete
Running With the Bullies Pt. 13 After tapping Nelson
Nelson: Hey Simpson! A couple of mobsters just shook us down for our shake-down money. You know how much I hate irony. Jimbo: They said you trashed Luigi’s. And I was only two stamps away from a free chicken parm! Bart: It was Dolph’s idea! Nelson: If Dolph told you to jump off a bridge, would you do it? Get him, Jimbo, and toss him off a bridge! Make Bart Hide from Bullies- 24hrs Keep Dolph free when complete Bart: Man, I don’t know what’s worse, running from the mob or the bullies. Well, the mob obviously. What am I going to do? Hey there Addicterinos! Wookiee back with my column in which I get the privilege of writing about what I’d like to see in the game.
First off, I’d like to say that I really want to know what YOU would like to see in the game. EA has proven by this point that they pay attention to the TSTO blogs on the ultraweb (they’re all Bunny stalkers I’m sure) and who knows, you could be the next tapper to give them an idea. All your suggestions can be easily placed on our Tapaholics Requesterinos to EA page. That’s also where you can find previous editions of What a Wookiee Wants (WAWW) if you’re interested.
Alright… for today’s wish… it’s really quite simple. The Wookiee Wants Tress MacNeille. If you’re not familiar with her name (said in my best Troy McClure impersonation), you may know her from such voice acting as The Simpsons, Futurama (Mom), Tiny Toon Adventures (Babs Bunny), Animaniacs (Dot), etc. Crazy thing is I only listed a few of her credits/characters. Miss MacNeille is seriously one of the most talented voice actors EVER. Continue reading →
Level 36 is here (woohoo!) and with it comes Jimbo Jones, a premium Toughie to add to your Springfield. I’m sure you’re asking “Should I Spend Donuts on This?”….well before you hit that confirm button, let’s break down the Pros and Cons of adding this bully to your Springfield.
Character: Jimbo Jones Donut Price: 120 Donuts Pros: -Comes with his own 7 part quest when unlocked (you can read the full walkthrough here)
-Premium character pays out 50% more XP & Cash on all Jobs and Task
-Amusing outdoor task, Hacky Sack a Frog.
-Permanent Task using Noise Land Arcade Building. Cons: -Expensive. At 120 Donuts he’s one of the most expensive characters without a building
-He’s not voiced
-After his initial quest he has no real tasks that interact with other characters. Final: I’m someone that’s always been in the “buy premium character” camp. While 120 donuts is steep, and it may take a while to save, I’m a fan of adding Jimbo to your Springfield. However, if donuts are limited for you you are better off spending less on a character like Arnie Pye (who comes with a helicopter) because you’ll get a bit more out of him. So, if you have the donuts I say go for it. But if you’re looking to be smart with your donut purchases I’d say hold off, for now, and take a look at some of the lower cost premium characters.
The arrival of Level 36 brings us Jimbo Jones, a premium character for the Simpsons Tapped Out. After you’ve shelled out 120 donuts, to unlock Jimbo, you unlock his 7 part questline. Here’s the complete walkthrough to help guide you through his quest.
Rebel Without a Pause Pt. 1
After tapping Jimbo
Jimbo: The New Yorker was right. School sucks. Bart: Hey, at least it’s almost lunchtime, right? Jimbo: If I have to eat another serving of Mystery Meat Surprise, I’m gonna hurl. And don’t get me started on the lunch ladies and their policy of not dating students. Complain about Cafeteria Food- 8hrs Continue reading →
