Game of Games: Turbo Tappin’ Week 4, Fourscore and a Halfmonth

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Let the games begin!  After a long hiatus, we finally have a major event in Springfield!  Game of Games has arrived and it looks to be a game fest of nerdy proportions!

The Game of Games follows the same event structure that the Simpsons Christmas Special and Valentine’s Day events before it.  This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting a week and taking us through a new part of the event!

For Act 4 Homer has finally secured E4 tickets, but it’s too late the kids have been E4 for weeks!  Each part of the story will unlock another prize themed for the fourth part of the story.  So let’s take a look at the details behind Week 4 and the Turbo Tappin’ Version of Fourscore and a Halfmonth…

Game of Games Week 4 Is Live!

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s officially 10am here on the East Coast, and that means Game of Games Week 4 is Live!  It’s time to start the final week of this multi-event!

Things kick off for week 4 with some dialogue between Homer and Marge…

Homer: Marge! I did it, I got E4 passes for the kids.
Marge: Oh, Homie. The kids found passes without you and are already at the convention.
Homer: Bart doesn’t need my help? I only hope that’s true when he’s old enough to need to be bailed out of jail.

This is followed by a 6s tasks for Homer and Marge.  Once completed you’ll trigger the week 4 questline, which will take you through unlocking all of the week 4 prizes, Fourscore and a Halfmonth.

Let the games begin!  After a long hiatus, we finally have a major event in Springfield!  Game of Games has arrived and it looks to be a game fest of nerdy proportions!

The Game of Games follows the same event structure that the Simpsons Christmas Special and Valentine’s Day events before it.  This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting a week and taking us through a new part of the event!

For Act 3 we are tasked with continuing the story of the Evergreen Terrors, and Homer’s unending quest for E4 tickets!  Each part of the story will unlock another prize themed for the third part of the story. Let the games begin!  After a long hiatus, we finally have a major event in Springfield!  Game of Games has arrived and it looks to be a game fest of nerdy proportions!

Game of Games follows the same multi-event structure that Christmas 2018 and Valentine’s Day 2019 followed.  This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting a week and taking us through a new part of the event!

With Act 3 (week 3) one new premium costume arrived in Springfield, Mr. Dirt an all-new character for Springfield.  In addition to helping with event currency, Mr. Dirt also came equipped with his own, short, individual questline, so let’s take a look at the full dialogue questline…

Friday Filler – Alternate Event Math in the Donut Farming Era

Thank Grog It’s Firday!

If we are to be pragmatic about the current state of affairs in TSTO, you have to be a true “Purist” to choose not to donut farm.  In almost every instance, concentrating on farming, so you can concentrate on rushing, so you can actually have more “Life Currency,” is simply the most prudent use of your time (which is of course, Life Currency defined).

Case in point, the choice whether to grind every 4 hours to complete the tasks involved with the event, or whether to simply make donut farming your substitute grind…even during downtime and during events. This is a decision that requires a bit of “New TSTO Math.

I have played this event both ways…mostly due to the need to actually “live more life” while still “getting everything.”
