Should I Spend Donuts On Rabbi Krustofsky and Temple Beth Springfield?

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s Sunday Morning in Springfield! Gather up those religions because Homer wants to sample them all! Like a religious smorgasbord…as long as Homer can still have the bacon!  Of course it wouldn’t be an event in Springfield without premium items in our stores, just tempting us to spend sprinkles on them!

Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to buy everything that looks as awesome as this because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add (the long awaited) Rabbi K and Temple Beth Springfield to your Springfield?  Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this highly requested Rabbi to your Springfield…

Homer’s Quest for Enlightenment In Four Parts

enlightenment-main

Before we start this journey, I would like to ask those of you who despise anything that isn’t “directly game related” to turn away…go farm KEMs or simply just save yourself some time and emotional distress.  This is meant for the REST of you, who in a “grinding period” (as we are now) may be looking for a little insight, fun, and metaphysical diversion.

Fair enough? (Although I hate that phrase…something is either fair, or it isn’t).

This update/event has been one of the craziest, most divisive updates in recent memory, and for reasons that the programmers and writers could scarcely have imagined.  OK. Hold on. Who are we kidding here? They knew it was going to incite some discussion, and some controversy, but most likely didn’t expect such clear division between “isms” from the players. So many “isms” choose from…and so few answers.

But, as it is playing out, Homer has continued to lead us all on a spiritual quest for enlightenment (whether we wanted to go down some of the paths or not).  And in the final chapter (is there ever actually a “final” chapter as it pertains to everlasting life?) it’s mostly meant to be just, plain, fun.

Let’s break down Homer’s journey…

Turbo Tappin’ Homer the Heretic: Main Questline and Prizes

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s Sunday Morning in Springfield! Gather up those religions because Homer wants to sample them all!

Of course, as with all events, a questline comes with it to help move us through the ins and outs of the event…and unlock all of the prizes.  As was mentioned on the rundown post this mini event is similar to the previous mini-events (like Homer’s Chiliad and the Most Dangerous Game before it), in that you’ve got to complete various tasks to unlock the prizes.

So let’s take a look at the questline to see just how to unlock all the fun Homer the Heretic inspired prizes and explore these religions with Homer…

In-Game Update: Homer the Heretic

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Well good morning to everyone…and what a Godly morning it is in Springfield as the Homer the Heretic mini-event, the event about Homer sampling a variety of religions, has hit our games!

We’ve all been waiting, and waiting, for the items teased before Christmas to hit our games and the time has finally arrived!

Let me note first that the Mystery Box is gone, as is the Gnome in Your Home Game, as the in game timer has finally run out on both of those.

And one more note, this event will trigger for you if you’re at Level 15 and have started Is There An Al Coholic Here Pt 1.  (the questline to get Marge)

Things get started with some dialogue between Homer and Marge followed by a 6s task for Homer.  This will launch the mini event, and will be followed by a 4hr task for both Apu and Homer.  (this will unlock Sunday Morning Homer)

So now let’s take a look at the rest of the details for this mini event….

Remember this is an automatic update in your game.  Nothing to download.  So if you’re not seeing it, and you’ve reached Level 15 or higher and started Is There An Al Coholic Here Pt. 1, try hard closing and restarting TSTO (and your device).  If you still don’t see it try uninstalling and reinstalling TSTO.
