Despite the calendar showing November, it’s still Halloween in Springfield! And it’ll be that way for a few more weeks…and we shouldn’t be surprised after all EA warned us!
“Isn’t it sad when Halloween ends and all you have to show for it is a bucket of candy? Well, fear not! The new Treehouse of Horrors update for Tapped Out starts this Wednesday and will scare you deep into November!”
I’m no longer sacred…just counting down the days till tinsel time. 🎄🎄🎄
Anyway…back to the prizes at hand…
THOH XXX follows the same event structure of the Multi-Events before it. This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting a week and taking us through a new part of the event!
For Week 3, we’re following what happens when Zia betrays Kodos and Kang, and plots her own world take over! All of the prizes unlocked during week 3 play a role in that storyline.
So let’s take a look at prize 5, Martin of the Opera…an all-new character for our pocket-sized towns…

You guys…Riley’s 4 years old today! Happy Birthday to the Tiny Addict…I can’t believe she’s already 4. For those of you that listened to Addicts Live on Saturday, you’ll know that she celebrated her Birthday with a donut party this past weekend! Lots of sugar was consumed by lots of little kiddos!

Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow morning, Wednesday, November 13th, Week 4 (Act 4) of THOH XXX…the FINAL Act of this Event…will be starting. The official start time is 9am ET. An hour earlier because Daylight Savings ended in the US recently. Files show start time as 1400 UTC, which is converted to 9am ET now.
While the Week 3 questline shouldn’t be going anywhere (and weeks 1 and 2 for that matter), so if you haven’t finished the prizes you’ll have a chance to complete it even after Week 4 starts, all of the Week 3 Premium items will be leaving the store.
So if you plan on purchasing, Bridge Troll Moe do so before they leave our games tomorrow morning. (SIBs Linked)
Also, here’s some inside info to help you prepare for Week 4 to start…
During Week 4 we’ll receive a visit from the Rigellian Devil himself…and J. Rigellian Christ makes a return appearance…as Marge tries to get her children’s souls back. Of course, you’ll have to follow along with the dialogue to find out what happens, but the same characters used for Act 3 currency tasks should be used for the Act 4 currency tasks, with the exception of Bridge Troll Moe. Again, Bridge Troll Moe will NOT earn currency for Week 4. So we’re looking at God, Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Grampa, Maggie, Nelson, Milhouse, and the New Premium Character for Week 4…
You’ll also need Kodos, Kang, and Marge free for the initial questline objective…
There will also be one new premium character combo introduced during week 4, and that character will be able to help with the currency earning for week 4. (150 donuts will be needed if you’d like to purchase the combo)
And that’s it my friends! Be prepared for Week 4 to start up tomorrow morning!

Simpsons are back tonight with a new episode! What do you think will happen?
It may be November 10th, but it’s still Halloween in Springfield. Will the madness ever end?! The answer of course is yes, as week 4…the final week…rolls out this week. Then we can finally throw the pumpkins in the compost pile…along with the fruitcake, we threw back there 6 years ago. I wonder which will decompose first… Thoughts as we prepare to hit week 4?

OK…in full disclosure, I am once again breaking all of the “time/space/continuum” rules by writing this early (Thursday) after doing an Addicts Live last night (Wednesday) that won’t actually be live until the day after tomorrow (Saturday). But, that’s Ok. Time is relative…and I am going to be spending most of my time Friday-Sunday, WITH my relatives, and in fact, am likely doing so as we speak (if I was actually there, with you, speaking to you).
This weekend is my nieces’s wedding, and all of my daughters are flying in for the celebration, including Katie, Ryan, and Jake (the cutest little tapper…or at least one of the two cutest, if you ask Alissa) on the East Coast.
So yes. I am actually happy that TSTO is so dingdangdiddly EAsy and boring. I just don’t have that much time to care. Which is perfect. Because we are only in week 3…of what I thought was week 4…because I have paid so little attention to it. Go figure.
But, this week, we got Bridge Troll Moe, which was actually hilarious, and brought up a ton of recent, and past memories about trolls.
