Sunday Night Open Thread

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

How are my favorite Addicted Tappers this evening?  How was your weekend?  Do anything fun and exciting?  Enjoy the first official weekend of summer?!

Anyway enough rambling from me….it IS Sunday and you know what that means, right?  No it’s not time to boogie woogie uoogie all night long!  It’s time for another Sunday Night Open Thread!  (this is very quickly becoming our favorite time of the week by the way!  You guys have some AWESOME things to say!)

Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING.  Just no Add me requests…those should go here.  We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

So…here is your Sunday Night Open Thread.  Stonecutters, Level 42…what else does EA have up their sleeves?  Updates coming fast and furious, what do YOU think will hit when Stonecutters ends next week?  World Cup is in full swing…with the defending champions, Spain, knocked out already…who do you think will win?  The US vs. Portugal match is on now…all tied up.  What do you think will happen in the last few minutes?  We’re giving away donuts again!  Do you think we’ve absolutely lost our minds?  What would you do with the free donuts if you win?

So chat about the Simpsons, TSTO, update fun, the World Cup, or anything else you can think of!  Can’t wait to chat with you all, you know we LOVE hearing from you!

Hey, howdy, hello, guten tag, ohio and more friends!

This Stonecutter event really has been a blast so far. EA went back to the tried and true format for all of us and I haven’t had to hear one person complain about Vegas odds, Whells or crappy decorations they don’t want. Seems EA weathered a potential storm and all is right in TSTO Land. Or is it? (CUE THE SPOOKY MUSIC).  It’s time to listen to what the game tells me to do.

If you’re following along with Bunny’s Emblem Calendar, by now you’re all in the thick of emblem collecting and you should be nearing enough emblems to collect the 7th Emblem Prize!  You can find posts about the other prizes here the Sacred Parchment, #36, Chest of Sacred Artifacts, #85 & 600, Money Pool & #29, & #50 &#79.

Once you reach 22,500 Emblems collected you’ll unlock the 7th free personal prize in the Stonecutters Event…The Stone of Triumph!  The Stone of Triumph is an all new decoration for your Springfield that will unlock a new task for Stonecutter Homer!

With all of the new Stonecutter Premium Items that are Limited Time ,it may be overwhelming trying to decide which items to buy and what to pass on. With that Limited Time label on items I know it can be tempting to just buy everything you can. iOS App Store Update

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Just a quick drop in to let you know, if you play TSTO on iOS there’s an App Store Update for you today. So make sure you head to your App Store and download the latest version of TSTO.

No new content.  Instead this looks like a patch update to fix some issues for iOS users that have been going on in various TSTO games.  So be sure to download the latest and greatest, iOS users!

Turbo Tappin’ Level 42: Islands in the Revenue Stream & Krusty the Hair Colorist

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Well Level 42 dropped on us today, craziness and panic!!!! Another Freemium character/building combo has arrived, but no new land!  Finally, many Tappers get their wish and the Itchy & Scratchy Studios (and Roger Myers Jr) is now in Springfield!

So now that there’s a new Level in our tapping devices, you know what that means right?  Time for another Turbo Tappin!  So with that let’s jump right in and Turbo Tap the Main Questline (Freemium) of Level 42!

This main questline has two different questlines that will run parallel to each other (Islands in the Revenue Stream & Krusty the Hair Colorist…and 1 bonus part at the end with Bart & the kids).  We’ve posted them on the Turbo Tappin’ as they appeared in our game, so your game should follow a similar pattern.

So now let’s get to Tappin’ shall we?

In-Game Update:Level 42….

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Ah such fond memories of Halloween 2013.  Not only are we SMACK DAB in the middle of Stonecutters BUT EA has now dropped Level 42 on us!  You wanted more content…more content we’re getting!

More as we go through the update ourselves (and I get my phone to stop saying device is full…good thing I travel with my iPad and Tablet!) for now Krusty gets things rolling in Springfield.  I’ll be back with more in a bit my tap, tap tapping friends!

UPDATE: Looks like this update comes with a bit of a server crash as well.  At the moment Origin Servers are down, and having an issue connecting to games.  If you’re currently logged into your game you should be good, but if you play multiple games (like I do), you’ll get a Origin Error when you try to log out and in again.
