The snow is falling in Springfield, which can only mean Winter has arrived in our pocket-sized towns! And is in full swing on our devices.
In a change of pace, this Event is broken up into just 2 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the Second Act you’re tasked with collecting Brooches (
) to unlock each prize!
The seventh, and final, Act 2 Prize awarded at 74,950 is Star Snowsuit Maggie (& Sacrifice Your Sheep to Odin), because it’s about damn time Maggie got her iconic costume…
So let’s take a closer look at this seventh prize and just what happens when you unlock him in your Springfield…
Once you’ve collected 74,950 you’ll automatically be awarded Star Snowsuit Maggie and Sacrifice Your Sheep to Odin and you’ll see this message popup:
Unlock other skins for this event, you will have the option to place or store this one in your inventory. Remember if you store this combo you’ll have to go in later to retrieve it.
If you choose place you’ll have to place the Sacrifice Your Sheep to Odin stand first and then Maggie will become Star Snowsuit Maggie…
And she’s part of the Winter 2016 character collection…

Bonuts- For every 5,400 you collect after you’ve earned Star Snowsuit Maggie you’ll have a chance to earn 1, 2 or 3 Bonuts! So spend all of those resources, because there is no Act 3. Get all the Bonuts you can..and stock up for 2017!

Was waiting 20more min for that creepy elf to come out for 50 more vouchers.
Was so close to platinum gift and a 50 – 50 chance at Sophie. And really close to more bonuts.

Only thing to do was click OK. All I got left was the elf in the box.
But, I panicked. Wasn’t expecting this to be an in game update without new content load ..
Spent 27 donuts to get gold gift and as I predicted, got the stupid (in my opinion) bear cave

I won the mr plow & king plow skins but they are not showing up. Does anyone know why?

How do you unlock the last daily prize? I’m on day 13, but the prize still shows it’s locked.
There is No prize.
They got pretty lazy with the questline, but there wasn’t really much they could do in terms of a storyline related to this skin. Still no 16-hour task for Maggie to match the minigame timer, though… you read this, EA?
Please forgive me if this has already been asked and answered. I’ve been looking through the posts and haven’t come across and answer and I’m running out of time so I’m just going to ask. The mystery gifts that you can get with vouchers say 4 days remaining, but the event ends in 4 hours. Is there really four days left to get the mystery gifts, or is that a mistake? And if there is four days left, how will I continue to earn those vouchers once the event is over? I’ve been saving up for a platinum box, because I’m not interested in any of the items that I can still get from the other two. But I don’t want to wait, thinking I have time to earn more vouchers, only to get up in the morning and find I’ve lost the 1399 vouchers I have because the event ended. Thank you in advance for your help 😊
Go with the four days. EA’s timers are reliable. Or don’t and spend what you have. I admittedly don’t know much about this because having played forever, none of the items were available to me (i.e. I have everything). There was a whole post with lots of info that might be helpful.

Thank you. I did read Pat’s post already, it was why I decided to try for the platinum box, but there was nothing in his post about the timer, or earning vouchers after the event is over. I just don’t want to spend precious donuts if I can manage to continue to earn those vouchers for free. Knowing that the four days is accurate helps me greatly, so thank you again!😁
They updated us all forcefully early this morning EST…. I think it must have been already part of the event program since I saw no hint of anything downloading.
The snow is still there but no more pagans roaming around, although the task to visit the pagan carnival remains. No more book or chicken finger collecting. No more Act II prize winning or crafting, so no more braziers for me. No more bonus donuts either, although the tree harboring spirits is still paying out the game currency.
But the gnome and vouchers and mystery boxes do remain, so Wookie was right that the timers were correct. Also we can still buy the stuff in the store that have unexpired timers. So I might still make it to my fourth elf house if my KEM garden cooperates and might even get enough vouchers from the obnoxious gnome to try for another 2000 voucher prize. Got Yes Man before.
I may be wrong, but I noticed that when you’re making offerings to get brooches for Bonuts, if you continue to make offerings once you’ve already reached 5,400 brooches–after you hear the music–and do not get out of offering screen, you do not earn any brooches.
Not seeing what all the controversy is about with the 4 hr task. It’s not a real sheep, am I missing something here that makes it appalling?

The “Sacrifice a Sheep” task is hysterical. For what it’s worth, I’m pretty sure it’s just a stuffed animal.
Star Snowsuit Maggie – Tappers have been wanting this skin since we finally got Maggie Simpson in the Game App (one of the better Prizes this year – in my opinion) ….
Sacrifice Your Sheep to Odin Stand is kinda pointless because it only offers a task for Maggie (c’mon EA, you’re kinda got lazy this Winter) …

I haven’t been offended or disturbed by anything in this game ever. I really don’t get bothered by too much in life at all. That all said, I will never send Maggie on that 4 hour task again. That is all.
They really need to work on Tribute (or whatever it gets called in the next event) Balancing; today, for example, the Large Tribute went:: 135 Books, 135 Books, 135 Books, Turn down an offer, and get one for… 135 Books.
Same as the act one.. how do we get the trophy after the daily tasks trading in at Stonehenge? It’s the last day, and that last Day 13 is still locked..
It’s just a Placeholder; there is no “13th Day” prize, just like in Part 1.
I got Starsuit Maggie quite a while back, but I never got the Sacrifice Sheep to Odin – what’s up with that?
…aaaaand, I found it. Yes, it’s THAT memorable.
Her sacrifice task is really disturbing!
I liked the event because the topic was so unexpected and because it was short: 2 12-day acts vs normal 3 15-day acts. I find most of those large events somewhat boring towards the end – this one was just right length.
And, I got 7 bonut rounds after the first act, and like 16 after the second one (and should get one more before the event ends). 72 bonus donuts (plus 12 received form daily offerings) make quite a nice loot.

Overall, this event was disappointing but I’m currently working on my 9th round of bonuts so that’s a plus. I can’t wait to update and remove all my pagan prizes/props!
I got her on Tuesday and about 2 rounds of Bonura since then.
I bought premium items that came with small questlines like the wiccans and the pagan bonfire. Should I do those now before the event ends or can it wait until after the event ends?
By placing Baal and the Odin Stone behind it I created a fun little theme where Homer, Marge, Bart n Lisa dance around it and Maggie is doing the sacrifice. As I see it its a game and nothing more so why not have fun with the items I got and create something cool. Even if its only for u. To TSTO. HAVE A Great Weekend and Happy New Year and Thank You for All You Do. Even if all we do is complain sometimes. Lol. Best wishes and be Safe.
Let me ask, with this event ending in 12 hours but some stuff in the store remaining till early 2017… Will the gnome minigame remain after the event is over? Or we should buy stuff to get more gift vouchers? My single try in the Platinum box gave me that bear in the cave 🙁 I wish to try it again, but no way to do that without the vouchers from that creepy gnome.

Note that you can buy vouchers for donuts at the rate of 20 vouchers per donut spent (just try to open a box without enough vouchers to get the offer). Much better than buying unneeded premium items for vouchers, where the rate is 6-10 vouchers per donut spent.
LOVE this prize and the tasks…hilarious!
why did they have to make her so cute. Especially her visuals even how she cartwheels through town. I think EA put this as the last prize for act 2 knowing that 99% of people would want it and therefore forcing them to play through act 2.
A little dissapointed in this, actually. Two indoor tasks requiring marge. The top of the tree obfuscates her. Wish there had been a stand-alone walk around animation. I like creepy things, but the sheep sacrifice is a little weird.
And when the Great Enemy thinks something’s weird, you know you went too far.
I really got a kick out of the mayor’s comments at the conclusion of his dialogue (no spoilers). But it is true, people freak out about things, religious mentions and even including others. I guess EA knew that people playing a game even such as TSTO would get worked up about the theme.
I guess as a society folks love to say we love others, but then a view they don’t like surfaces….Good social mirror.
I’m looking forward to any non traditional changes they may have in store!

Same here; I’ve found nothing offensive in this entire event, but this one really pushes my limit and I don’t like it at all.

I don’t know if this is happening to anyone else, but Maggie’s be a star task isn’t visual for me. She just disappears, and the tree lights up. Very disappointed.
Greetings from Copenhagen! Successfully made my way from Toronto to Amsterdam to Oslo. Picked up my car and have so far driven over 1200 km from Oslo to Stockholm and now Copenhagen. I’ll finish up driving from Copenhagen to Gothenburg and back to
Oslo for my flight back. While I’ve thoroughly enjoyed Northern Europe, I’m equivalently excited being away for a week and only playing twice a day, yet still getting Maggie in Stockholm two days ago. Go Star Snowsuit Maggie!

Kinda sad that the only visible snowsuit tasks probably won’t be used after this event…4 hr is just too awful to use at all, and 8 hr uses the Christmas tree…oh well….
I agree. Plus, I have Maggie’s premium skin from the Wild West Event, so I’ll probably just put her back into that after a few days of watching her cartwheel around, lol. The little coos & giggles she makes in her Prairie Maggie outfit make me smile every time I put her on task. Much sweeter than her usual *suck* *suck* *suck*! 😄
