Farming for Free Donuts

Howdy y’all.  Cletus here using dat der giant sasquatch fellars’ typety thingy to let yer know ‘bout my latest batch a moonshine.  Seems possum’s fell inter da still and…

(Scuffling sounds from Attic)

Hey hey friends… Wookiee here.  Can you believe I just found Cletus in my attic setting bear traps?  The nerve of some yokels.  Got him to leave by threatening to rip his arms off and telling him about the tender bunny meat down below.  Boy is he in for a surprise… I’m the gentle one in this house.

Wookiee in the Kitchen

Anywho… Level 41 is upon is and courtesy of one of our amazing readers (and a good bud of mine from TOuk), there’s something new and cool to share which does not come from the files.  What is it my friends?  Well, click on that continue reading button to find out.  HINT: It has to do with farming but not the redneck TSTO kind.

Some of you may have heard of the terms housefarming or XP farming.  Opinions vary on the former but this post is actually about the second item.  XP farming is a way some tappers choose to try and earn donuts by maxing out their XP bars.  In the past, people would use items like weather stations, etc. to boost their XP levels.  Basically, you’d place multiple weather stations in your town, collect the XP and then sell them.  The hope is you’d get enough XP to max out your XP bar and get a chance for 3 free donuts.  Problem is it was very time consuming and often frustrating.

Well, with the Level 41 update, there’s a new decoration that makes this a little easier… The Bloodmobile.

Costing $132,000 each, it yields quite a bit more XP than a $9500 weather station.  13,200 vs. 1,000.  Instead of placing 13 stations, one mobile does the trick.  Basically, it cuts down on the time it takes to earn the XP.  Reader Vogst pointed this out recently and after I saw reader Alpine1M and others comment on it, I had to investigate.  Jebus knows I was Burns rich in money anyways.

I went ahead and bought 72 bloodmobiles which cost me $9,504,000, not even half my bankroll.

Each mobile gave me 55,784 XP so 72 equaled 4,016,448 XP… quite a lot.  Best part is all that XP leveled up by XP bar 7 different times… THAT’S 21 FREE DONUTS!!!

Now, it is only fair to state I have spent quite a bit of money in my A town which has a very high bonus multiplier (328%).  In my B town which has only 36% multiplier, each bloodmobile only gives 17,933 XP.  The standard XP yield for the Bloodmobile without any multiplier is 13,200 XP. What this means is you need to make sure every bonus multiplier item you have is out before you XP farm.  I never know why anyone stores these anyways since they increase the cash and XP earning in TSTO.  Seriously, you can hide them all over your town.

After celebrating my new premium currency, I of course knew I had no need for a veritable armada of Bloodmobiles in Wookieetown so I sold them for $33000 each.  The return was $2,376,000 which makes my total game dollars spent for the whole experiment $7,128,000.  Did I mention I leveled up my XP bar 7 times and earned 21 FREE donuts?  Basically 3 donuts at a million cash each but it might’ve been more if I were you.

How’s that you ask?  Well… simple.  I have been playing in my A town for a long, long time.  Every time you max out your XP bar and get free donuts, the amount needed to hit the mark again goes up.  Guess how many times I’ve done it since my current bar needs 1,594,159 XP total before I get the chance at 3 sprinklies again?  The good news is I’m sure a lot of tappers need far less to hit their marks.  My B town only needs 296,000 XP since it’s a much newer game.  That’s less than only 17 mobiles in that town.

bloodmobile 2bloodmobile 2bloodmobile 2bloodmobile 2bloodmobile 2bloodmobile 2bloodmobile 2bloodmobile 2bloodmobile 2bloodmobile 2bloodmobile 2bloodmobile 2bloodmobile 2bloodmobile 2bloodmobile 2bloodmobile 2bloodmobile 2

The long and short is that if you have some in-game cash that’s just burning a hole in your virtual pocket, there’s a simple way you can turn that cash into potential donuts.  There are a couple variables but I can actually promise this can work provided you have the in-game cash and time to do it.  Not quite as good as a direct cash exchange but certainly better than nothing.

Worlds Largest Zirconia

Also good to note that you can also do this XP farming with the World’s Largest Zirconia.  It costs $5 million and gives you 50,000 XP without any multiplier.  When you sell it back, the return cash is $1,250,000.  Only downside is as a unique decoration, you have to do this all one at a time.  Still a big XP payout but the 38 bloodmobile price equivalent will give you ten times that in XP (over 500,000)… just saying.

One last little note before I go on this.  While XP farming can be lucrative, just make sure you leave yourself some money in your bank.  Nothing worse than spending it all before new stuff comes out.  You know the next building in Level 42 is gonna cost a mint if previous levels are any indication.  My suggestion is to always leave a mil or three for the future.

Well, I hope this comes as good news for some of you and something to look forward to for others.  I know not everyone has a huge bankroll but I there certainly are quite a few who do.  Happy tapa-tapa-tapping everybody.  Keep on keeping on and stay classy.

TTFN… Wookiee out!

  1. For those who doesnt have huge amount of money to use these bloodmobile some tips..
KWIK-E-MART price according to the number you have the start from $ build up in 4 hours and five 2000XP..if you want to get 50000XP in bulk you just need to buy 25 of the mart which cost ONLY $75770 not including the resell money yet..The fact is at initial price of $220 it give 2000XP..the smaller the number of the mart you buy at one time the higher the XP per $$$$…of course it takes longer time to harvest which is 4 hours for completing the building but believe me it takes longer to make millions of $$$ just to do it instantly especially if we not premium user..this is personal view..if there is some mistake in this, just say it we could discuss it further..Hope it help anyone..

    • Thank you -moshi- for this helpful advise. I ain’t premium player and got stuck in levelling. Now I have level 56 and I got there within 2 days!! Just 2 days (3x build up 17x k-e-m shop) and I spend only +/- 80K (minus rebuy) Thanks!

  2. Are blood mobiles still for sale? I’ve looked all through the store and can’t find it.

  3. I get millions when I use the Springfield Downs glitch. Everytime you win, don’t click collect. Turn off your device and turn it back on and go back to the app, you will win again. Repeat for as much money as you want!

  4. What bonus xp items you have? I think you have used real money for those items? I only got 29% xp bonus 😀

    • Yes, often it’s because of premium item bonuses. But if you’ve been playing long enough and accumulated a lot of the free premium items EA gave away during certain events, that earned bonuses that helps increase your bonus xp. But Wookiee & I are both premium players, so our Bonus % rates are pretty high 🙂

  5. Hi guys, maybe a stupid question but i need some help.
I think i am missing something cause my bloodmoblie just give vanity status, how can i get xp for it??

  6. Woohoo, five donuts on my last visit!!! …and I now see SaraMary is down with Freak!!! 🙂 …thanks girl!!!

  7. I know I’m being a bit ahead of myself here, but with all this farming business peeps (including myself) are doing, I just wanted to know what happens if a level update occurs and one has already reached the new level’s XP limit (or indeed has exceeded it?)

If this has been covered already, my bad.

  8. TheRealestSitek

Wow. I have not even come close to a million lol. I wish i could get over $200,000!

  9. I am surprised at the number of people that have brown house farms at level 41…upgrade, guys!!! …and Safi, tap your town, man!!!

  10. Hey there, does all high level players xp bar reset to the same when a new level hits x

    • Usually, depends on how many levels they’ve played through (bonus rounds). And where they are in their XP points when the level hits.

  11. Would you recommend someone with only a little over 6mil try it?

  12. Great call with the blood mobiles. I was wallowing with the cubic zirconia– very slow that way. Money in this game is useless, especially when in the millions It ‘ s only useful to be changed into donuts

  13. I use to do this with my 448 blue houses and Chalmers’ Honda. It would get really annoying after the XP threshold would exceed 4 million. So i let 30 million dollars build up and I put most of my blue houses in storage. The XP threshold resets after each new level is added so I would do it a few times then. I tried using Easter floats but they did not give XP :-(. Once I saw the price of the Bloodmobile i knew just what had to be done. Now i have about 7 million left and a whole lot of Bloodmobiles 😉

  14. Started doing this with trees cause I have to money for blood mobiles after the first 5, I get 90xp per $675 tree so it takes forever. I should probably farm houses to earn more money.

  15. This was a very cool discovery. I was at the point that I rarely sent my folk on assignments because I had quite a few million and nothing to spend it on. I spend about 15 million for approx 30 sprinklies (I wasn’t counting too much). It revitalised my interest again beyond fiddling with my town but I will wait until the next level to do it again as the XP bar resets to a lower number. Thanks again to Vogst and Wookie for explaining

  16. Cletus: “Dat dare ebil bunny critter done chomped off ma hands!”

  17. This is genius! Thanks Wookie! I was wondering what to do with all that extra cash!

  18. Mike ( not S )

Cool idea. I just might buy a few more. I like to horde and store ( I don’t know why ). There will come a day when new land is offered. I love the luxury of having enough case on hand to buy it all at once.

  19. This is a great deal and no hacking Though I’ve no space to put 72 blood vans in my town……:-D 😀 😀 😀 😀

    • 40 vans gross $5280000 net cost $4500000 3 doughnuts first to e is $1.5m each

      Genius thanks wookie

  20. Do you always guess on the 3 donut box on your first try? Otherwise the cost for a second or a third guess should be added to the total cost. Just saying…

  21. As a newer player struggling to raise the 60-70 grand needed to buy each new building, with 5 or so building quests backed up this floors me. You can actually get to the point in this game where you can build up a bank roll? How/when?

    • Usually when you max out levels, because then you have nothing new to buy so money builds up (events also help). A lot of long time players have a lot of premium items built up as well that earn bonuses on all cash and xp…plus the conform-o-meter bonus. 🙂

  22. I’ll pay you cash for your unused land Ryan!

  23. Mmmm free donuts. Can’t wait. I still tracking along trying to level up. One bad thing about having so many neighbors is you level up with xp so much faster then you can do the questlines. Oh well just leveled to 22 and still on level 19 quest.

    • Hehehe, had the same problem when I was behind everyone. And I didn’t enjoy having three or four questlines (incl. events) at once. Even today I buy a premium character, but leave him in the inventory until I have played through the character questline of the one I purchased before. Otto still waiting to hop into my Springfield. 😀

  24. Anybody notice Bart’s treehouse went up in price from 25,000 to 38,000?

  25. I have some serious catching up to do!

  26. Yep. I spent over 40 million on blood mobiles, and got a ton of free donuts.

  27. I’ve done this several times so my current bar needs 2295588 to get 3 more donuts. I still have 105 million in cash and EA hasn’t offered any big ticket items for a long time so I’ll probably keep doing this.

  28. Alissa found him for me, getting ready for work now, see you on the flip side 🙂

  29. Now that’s using the force!!

  30. Is Homer with him? I lost Homie somewhere LOL
