Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
With this new update we’ve been transported back in time and Springfield has gone Medieval on us! Either that or we’ve been transported into another game all together! In either case…new event means new questline. New questline means time for another Turbo Tappin’ Walkthrough!
This questline has a lot of twists and turns in it and is really a fun one to read. So make sure you read it all while playing, otherwise you’ll miss out on a lot of fun! (We will, however, have a full dialogue questline up towards the end of the event, just in case you missed anything)
In addition to interesting dialog, the main questline branches off in several places. What I’ve done for this first part is run through everything you’ll need to complete the main questline, Prince and the Premise. This includes the questlines Clash of the Clones and The Power of Upgrades because those questlines will stop progress on Prince and the Premise until they’re complete (you’ll see what I mean below). The other “side quests” we’ll cover in another post (those are quests for the Cheaters, Castle Recycle, Boxingham Palace & other prizes).

Now, there are a few side quests that will pop up as you go through the update. (castle upgrades) We’ll cover them in a separate post.

Hi! I earned the 20 cheaters pack recently, they went to my inventory and for some reason they’re not there anymore, I’m sure I didn’t use them, where did they go?
They won’t show in your inventory. The cheater icon on the top right of your screen should show a number. You received 5 from the prize.

I’m not able to place Lisa’s castle (still locked in my inventory). I’m at part 2 of Clash of Clones and at part 10 of Prince of Premise. What gives?
It should have unlocked. I’ve seen this happen for several tappers and have seen on the forum that EA knows and is working on it. Definitely open a case with EA. Hopefully we’ll see a fix soon.

I’m having a problem with unlocking decorations like the castle gates and recycled tower… How does that work? do they only unlock once I’ve upgraded to a certain level?

Yes…you can only access parts for the castles when you level up and unlock them.
I have a question. When someone attacks one of my buildings is it better to let the entire building collapse or should I click on the shield. I realize I get more points by clicking the shield but what effect does that have on the attacking person’s points?
With the glitch in the Shields going on right now, I would suggest to clear them so you dont lose them for now.

It’s not fair that you have to send 10 characters to Lisa’s recital. What if users are new and don’t have 10 characters? There quest unfortunately ends there. It should have been: send ALL of your characters to the recital.
You just send them over n over til you hit 10 times.
My Marge won’t unlock, the skin shows in my inventory and I am well into the power of upgrades…….am I missing something.?
Did you get to Part 2 where it tells you to use her to do magic? Throw fireballs?
I have gone well past the questline where Wizard Marge should have unlocked, but I still can’t use her 🙁 Any tips?

Can I just ask; is it better to upgrade and use gold or save gold to get individual prizes quicker? I noticed for example you have to have 1400 for Boxingham Castle but you also need to use gold to upgrade, so which is better to do first?? Thank you 😀
When you upgrade characters, it doesn’t deplete your gold. Your collected gold works more as a mark of your progression in the game. Elixir is the item that works like game cash. Long and short, feel free to upgrade every character you like with no worries about effecting the personal prizes.

If they’re not in your inventory, upgrade your castle again until you are awarded them from leveling up
I still haven’t got them. There not in my inventory. They said they went in there but there not.:( I just got the pillar castle things for.it. the walls and castle things are.still locked in shop. 🙁 I really hope my game isn’t.glitched. then I won’t be able to move forward . 🙁
The Castle Walls come at level 4 and the towers as level 6. You should have had 4 walls placed into your inventory at Level 4. If they are not there and you got the wrong item, please alert EA right away.
Read through to see if I was done with the quests…and I am. Have to say having Smithers on a date ended things on a high note! But rats, what to do for the next six weeks.
Maybe EA has more planned for this long event. You definitely finished quickly. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a level update somewhere during all this.
Quick follow up – since I have completed everything, I haven’t been defending and letting attacks ride out. I’ve noticed after a couple times messing around, the shields disappear and have been replaced with the $. I think I saw somewhere around here that there’s a bug – was this it? I feel bad that people are using so many nerds, I’m not defending and no one gets anything.
We have reported the Shield bug and EA should be resolving it.

As an FYI I’m still experiencing the shields glitch even after today’s update. Cleared all but one shield then went to collect KL tickets. Came back and shield was gone.
As far as reports…many still are.
I have ‘extreme castle makeover part 3’ running which says to put 10 medieval decorations in the town. It appears my four walls and two towers have counted for this, but everything I can see costs donuts – are there any medieval things that aren’t donut purchases?
Yes…hay carts, banner, stock. Make sure you’re not just in the premium section of the event buying section.
If you level up the other castles does it actually spend your elixir or does it work like the gold where you level up characters but the gold stays the same?
It uses up your elixir. Works just like in-game cash.
Oops forgot to add: I need to place the walls so Lisa can look down and judge people. I cannot access that part it seems until I get those walls up.

Hey all
I’m stuck and need some help please. I’m on the Eco castle part of the storyline involving Lisa. I cannot place the recycled castle walls. I’ve unlocked the ability, the lettering above is yellow instead of white yet the image is greyed out and it says limited time underneath. I have elixir etc. I’m hoping I’m just missing something as opposed to having to contact EA (noooooooooooooooooooo!). I’ve looked through your awesome updates so forgive me if you have already explained. Thanks bunches and tonnes.

If you’re at the level where they should have unlocked in your inventory and they haven’t, the only thing you can do is contact EA. A few people have had this bug. Sorry I can’t be more helpful.

Without your help oodles of us would be dang-nabbiting (I’m going to make that a word-English is not my first language so I’ve got leeway 😉 and gol-darning all over the place with this update. I like it so far though. No hate from me, just utter confusion.
I figured it out! It was ridiculously simple really and I feel quite silly for not seeing it clearly:
All I had to do was make sure I had upgraded Lisa’s castle to the appropriate level for the installation of walls to commence. Huzzah!
I have no idea how you three put out such wonderful content in such a short amount of time. Thanks for answering on this Saturday evening.

I just went into my game and it randomly said “You have max nerds” and I suddenly had 55 nerds, when I had sent all my nerds into battle about half an hour before. Where did these random nerds come from?

My main castle is level 4, Recycled Tower level 3. It says to build tower pieces but they’re locked, even though they’re highlighted yellow. Is something wrong or do I wait and upgrade further, and which tower do I upgrade to unlock pieces?
The peices should be available and in your inventory when you earn them through leveling up. Unfortunately, it seems you may need to contact EA. They may appear later but I’d hate to make you wait and it not to happen. Good news is those upgrading tasks are completely separate from the main questline. Best of luck.

You need to upgrade and finish some quest lines be for you can actually place them…you’ll be prompted to do so.

Do your houses have to be ready to collect in order for neighbors attack? Or can they attack a house at any time? And thanks for being such a great resource!
Attack and neighbor house tapping are separate. They can do both. Get the money or Attack.

Please Help. I just got to the point where it asks me to Place a recycle tower. But when I go to do so it shows that’s its locked but the name is yellow?? Is this another glitch? TIA 🙂
Actually pretty much everything is locked. I can’t place and walls, gates or towers for any of my 3 castles.
What levels are you castles currently on?
No, you have to level up your castle to place the tower. It should also tell you to level up the castle to a certain point. When you unlock them via upgrading your castle they’ll be in your inventory. Once your castle reaches Level 10 you’ll be able to unlock them for purchase.
Hi Alissa. I’m working through level 12 with all castle parts still locked. I am still going through the extreme make over quest and need 2 more upgrades and the castle towers. Should they already be unlocked? Also after I reach the gold level for Bart Goblin/ cardboard castle I can no longer see my gold progress if I wanted to use donuts to speed it up. Glitch?
Your castle is Level 12? Or your game is Level 12?

I think I got +5 donuts on completion of Extreme Castle Makeover.. or where did they come from? It’s additionally to 15 free donuts today 🙂
I didn’t see it initially when I ran through my B game and just completed it in my A game and didn’t see it. Maybe they’re from tapping neighbors? (donuts from FP)
Can someone help me with the “splinter is coming” quest. I’ve only repaired 1 building but whenever someone comes and attacks none of my buildings are destroyed…. Please help!
Your buildings won’t be destroyed until the allotted attack time is done or the attacker uses a cheater. You may need to just ignore a couple houses under attack to let them get destroyed.
But I’ve a issue that if ignore it and come back later the shield-sign has turned in to a money-sign instead. Have anybody the same problem?
With the shields disappearing (EA knows about it and I’m sure is trying to fix it), I would advise clicking them as soon as you see them just to be safe. We’re all hoping EA has some glitch fixes soon.
Thanks for all the great information! Very helpful! Would you consider starting a thread for finding neighbours willing to attack other neighbours? With the game giving Tha advantage to random attacks, I am finding it hard to build up elixir and gold. Maybe other players would be willing to send up to half their nerds troops on neighbourly pillaging missions.
Couple of ideas forming now…trying to determine the best way to do it.

When does Lisa’s tasks start? How does it start? By Lisa prompting it? Because I’m past part 9 and I have both Lisa and Bart’s castles, but it hasn’t allowed me to start building her castle.

Level up posts are coming but the basics are there is no max. However, once they hit Level 20 you stop getting rewards for it (well you still get castle walls, but no more nerds etc)
Do the defend shields disappear after awhile if they are not tapped right away when they first appear? I had several over some houses & decided to let them wreck them, but after leaving the game then returning the defend shields are gone.
It’s seeming like it’s a glitch at this point. Several players are reporting the same thing….
Are we missing out on gold coins & elixir with this glitch?
If it disappears and you don’t tap it…yes. But to confirm you would need to check your counts before and after it happens. I have not personally experience this, so I can’t confirm on it.

Can anyone explain to me the reason behind upgrading homer the barbarian at your castle please. I was asked to uprage him by the game and now that he is at level 2 nothing has changed to my town. Thank you.
Character Level Ups info is in the works and coming. Essentially…as you hit certain points it helps to earn MORE elixr.

Is there any way to see if your nerds are still attacking or if the building was defended? Probably not that important, but it would be nice to know if more gold and elixir is on its way.
I do not believe so. You will only get a pop up in your town telling you the total overall you earned while you were away. Whether it was a complete destruction or just defended. All you get is the total sum of ALL neighbors that have completed either.
