Sorry this is a little delayed…it was dinnertime here. (still not a fan of these late in the day updates EA!)
Anywho…looks like the Tap Ball Removal update has hit our App Stores. So if you’re all done with Tap Ball and would like your Springfield to go back to normal download the update. BUT if you’d like to continue the Tap Ball fun you can put off downloading the update until it forces you to (which is usually in 24hrs).
If you choose not to update right now, remember you’re playing on borrowed time. Once the game forces you to update (again it’s usually within 24hrs) you will be locked out of your game (ie stopping ALL Progress) until you update. Which means if you don’t cash in your Amateur Bucks before it forces you to update, you’ll miss out. So proceed with caution!
And now…there’s a little bit of Spoiler Info leaked on Amazon for the next upcoming event on TSTO. Because it’s posted on Amazon, and comes directly from EA we’re going to post it on Addicts. BUT we’ll do so below the fold, so those that don’t want to know, don’t have to. However, if you’d like to know…click below.

Looks like Springfield Heights and Cookie Kwan are coming! A major TSTO Expansion is on it’s way (no it’s not live yet…soon i’m sure)…

I kind of like that it’s a separate area like KL, if that’s how it rolls. My main game Springfield is so big it’s overwhelming. My all freemium game is cozy. I like having both 🙂
My main thing is wanting to be able to share buildings between areas. I really want my castles and some of the other more nonsensical buildings in KL, and I would love to make a rich district in the heights. It feels like it would make much more sense.

Almost two hours and still unable to log into my TSTO game. Sent a message to EAHelp and tweeted them but no joy. Stupid Flanders. It’s all his fault

Anyone else having a problem getting their game to load after updating? I updated through the App Store and my game will not load at all. I’ve force closed several times, but all I get is the “cannot connect to server” screen. All other apps and games are working fine.

I like my K.L. just wish it was next to my town .
There is a limited number of items that you can put in your town .
Will they increase this ?
I’ve hit this many times redesigning my town and have to just take items out of K. L.. Leaving just buildings and a few trees .

I have done every trick to try to get into my game. It has me sign in, then takes me to the dreaded Bart is retrying page, then it boots me back to sign in again. What else can I do?? I have deleted it, reinstalled it, hard started my IPad etc. I even downloaded the new update to see if that was the problem. Help my fellow addicts!

I just got into my game after 12 hours of not being able to connect to the server. Check your game.
Haven’t been able to log in since downloading the takedown! Have uninstalled twice and still nothing. What is the best way to contact EA? Not panicking yet….

Oh and from the image….is it suppose to be Halloween colors like that? Is that a tease for the update to show up during October?

! Beyond the mountain area? They’re actually adding towards that part of the map finally? Maybe finally adding Shelbyville? Or at least Shelbyville buildings/people etc…..Because that would be the only way they could expand because of the whole limit thing. And my town as of now is practically as capacity and crashes on a regular basis. But I’ve been playing on my computer and it still crashes. Still want a “on/off” switch for weather effects…..there is a on and off for xmas lights…..

Is there a problem with origin right now because i’m just getting the Bart screen all the time since updating to get rid of tap ball.

Hi sorry to leave this comment here, but i can’t seem to find contact information. The mobile site today has been giving me spammy popups and redirecting me from the site to ads, which have never happened before, aren’t happening from the desktop site, and aren’t happening from any other website I visit on my phone. I’m running a virus scan of my phone but I figured I should let you know in case it’s from your end.

We’ve got no control over the adds unfortunately, they come from word press. No one else is saying anything about them, and I don’t have issues on my phone. So i think it may be something on your end.
i just started getting popups yesterday too.
takes me to a whole new site about winning some contest or being chosen for research… and makes me click ok.
then i have to reload this site.
Yea that’s something with your device i think. Try clearing your cookies if it continues contact Word Press. I will alert them as well, as that shouldn’t be happening.
If you see it popup, could you grab a screenshot and send it to us? (tstoaddictsblog@gmail.com) I’ve reported it to wordpress, and that’s what they’re requesting, to ensure one didn’t sneak into their system.

I don’t know if this is the right place, but after the update I was visiting my neighbors and I had trouble with 1 of them, pretty much like the “Duff Lady trouble”, everytime I was trying to get in his town, the game kept crashing, I have more than 80 neighbors and he was the only one with this trouble, should I erase him or it is some glitch?.
Could just be his game, sometimes that happens if they have a ton of stuff in their town.

Anyone ever play the board game Life? Where the board game pieces are little plastic white cars with a spots for six different little plastic people? I hope the monorail is similar-ish to that, where you have a monorail and all the cars, and YOU CAN SEE each person sitting (in their own spot, like the thanksgiving table and stonecutters table) and riding around Springfield. AND, it would be nice if EVERY SINGLE character had, like, a 4 hour task to ride the monorail. All our characters could run to the monorail entrance, take a seat, and ride around Springfield!
To be honest, I don’t care if it’s like Krustyland. It’s something new to dive in to! Also it’s an epic and well-deserving way to bring Cookie in. I’m just excited for something new and a highly requested character! I’m just grateful that they’re doing something new and not making her premium! Hopefully anyway. Imagine a new expansion exclusive to premium players, that’d blow and in my opinion would the the only excuse for complaints.
I’m a little nervous. But my Springfield is so full and starting to be glitchy. This is probably the best way to continue to help with memory. I just hope:
A. We can use all the money we save in our main Springfield on SH.
B. Buildings can be moved from main Springfield into Springfield Heights.
C. Characters can visit both territories.
Fingers crossed.
The update is buggy. I’m playing on Android 4.4.4 and the app crashes when I vandalize friends’ towns. I’ve reproduced the problem multiple times.
have the same issue on my iphone i can’t even tap 3 houses in my town before it crashs 😓😪
It’s going around on iOS. Best thing to do is contact EA let them know. The more people that contact them, the quicker they are to resolve it.
If you can move old stuff over and it’s like Krustyland then I dread the impact it might have on the conformity meter:/
Not sure if its just my system, but I think I found a current “bug” since the last event. Seems they implimented new character icons on the top left for the Tap Ball player costumes, but they don’t currently coincide with the respective character. Instead it goes to the “next” person on the list to have their menu pop up, like in one instance, it showed an icon for Ralph but the Menu for Rev. Lovejoy showed up and started his job once I selected it. Eventually it did select Ralph and the others, but only once it reverted back to the innitial icon that it used to show. Anyone else experiencing this?
Yes, the find a character icon seems to be 1 person off & the image seems to be a glitchy splice of 2 images
I had this a few minutes ago..Superintendent Chalmers & Skinner were both facing away from me (could only see back of their heads), and Agnes Skinner’s icon brought up the menu for Willie, as did an icon of some small, dark mule-like animal. That REALLY confused me…
Yay! Sounds interesting for sure. I can’t wait to see what it’s like. I sense a major redesign will be happening for me after this update. But that’s okay, my town needs some tweaking.
I’d love it if they could add a feature where you can move sections of town, that way if you have something exactly as you like it, you can move it wholesale instead of having to move each tree and decoration individually. That’s my dream. I would prefer that over a monorail. 😉
That’s a dream that I share. Issue with it would be that that would work fine when moving over empty land, but not when you’re rearranging. Lasso and nudge might work…
I wonder if Springfield Heights gets to keep the old area code.
This made me go back and check out Krustyland again! It was nice to go back and fix stuff up. I have no problem if it’s just like Krustyland, it’ll take awhile to build but that’s just something extra you can do during slow times!
meh. For some reason I prefer stuff that’s integrated in the main game. I feel like even Krustyland is a waste of time, and I haven’t even set mine up nice yet. (Meanwhile, I have a nicely built-out level 55 Springfield…)
