Yes. You are correct. There is a random, spotty outage of the EA servers that is causing mayhem in the TSTO world.
People are reporting:
- that they can’t log in (Spinning Donut of Death)
- If they do log on, all of the neighbors are gone.
Both are legit. Both are kind of “Normal” for EA… and both would imply that one of their server banks, the ones dealing with IDs for neighbors has been hacked, or is down, or both. It has happened before. It will likely happen again.
SOLUTION?
Chillax. It’s a game. If you are like most who come here regularly you are well ahead of the calendar for Act II anyway. If you CAN log in, even if your neighbors are missing temporarily, you can still progress.

After nuking my Springfield, and having it look Worse than before 😂, EA, please give us the power to sell stuff we want to get rid of! I somehow ended up unable to replace 800 orange houses after nuking. I found even more stuff i want to sell and hopefully that might make it easier on the servers? It would also make people with game issues, very happy even with the issues, because we could sell stuff we want to get rid of. Would love a better decorated town. But all the items make it confusing, lengthy, and a pain.
Two items i want: place to sell my bonuspercentage items, that lets me get ridof the item and keep my percentage. 2 a place to sell character and purchased specialty buildings, and still keep the income. Or even if we could sell the character building and keep the character.
Know this is off topic. Just stand up for EA a lot, and really wish they could get the selling done. Imagine they have a lot of other fires to put out. Far from envy them, but selling unsellables would keep a lot of people happy in the meantime! 😁
Wonder if they could come up with a “Storage Unit” bulding that you could drag stuff to and drop it in? Your bonus items would still be in the town (so your XP% wouldn’t go down) but they would be out of sight in “storage”.🎃
I’ve lost count of how many times this Game App has had connection issues related to EA’s Network over the last 5.75 years of Tapping …. yes I used to get irritated like everyone else …… but now I just take a 1/2 Day off from Tapping (as for my Neighboreenos? I’ve given up on trying to visit them during this year’s Halloween Event – it’s just not that rewarding like it used to be) 🤷🏼♂️
On the bright side? I should have She Wolf by tomorrow night ….. it’s all Kem Farming and earning anything necessary to get thru Act 3 quickly (Crafting Currency and Pickaxes) from here on out 😀👍

30 donuts went missing from my game this morning, got in touch with EA and i have them back already. Quickest resolution to a problem ever!

The unfortunate things is that all these people deleting the game and reloading are just putting more load on the EA servers……
Having used the Tween Lit purchase to my advantage, I just decided to not log in until later today.

got my neighbors back but cant click on the wherewolfs..will only let me do normal jobs..annoying at worst..set back at best…hope they fix it soon

Was able to log in about 15 minutes ago, no big deal collected and sent everyone on another 4hr task. It’s a game, life goes on…
Easy to say: “no big deal” after you collected and assigned. Maybe you should try the version of ~cannot log in at all~…
It’s a game, and life as we know it on the planet will not end cause you can’t log in to send people off on a 4 hr task.
If you are able to log on snap a couple screenshots of your town or write down your current level, # of donuts and current questline.
It may come in handy if you need to start a help ticket with EA.
Is it normal that everyday the game is loading again all the content as if there is a new update ?
Your device is stuffed…not enough free space for the game , so it keeps reloading. You need over 5gb free memory for the game, so time to send some stuff to the cloud and lighten your tablet/phone. It’ll thank you for it👍😁.
PS…doesn’t hurt to do a hard close once in a while, also, just to clear the cache…your game will run smoother. Anytime my pad starts running a little slow, I do a hard close and it comes back to it’s speedy little self 🎃👌.
No it’s not normal but it has been answered here about at least 2 times a week. You need to free space on your device. Minimum 4G, with every update coming even more. And preferable enough RAM

Too late for me. When I saw my neighbors gone, I uninstalled and reinstalled. Only know I can’t get on at all. Oh no poor me… Should always check with you first. Lesson learned.

Yes you’re right. I found it strange already i couldn’t log in on a normal stable wifi (knowing EA it wans’t actually that strange)
More strange was that all neighbours were gone (for me the first time THAT happened). Then best thing to do is check here and you will find out that ur not alone. No reason to panic.
The RBG was a different thing. I never got infected but if you got infected they never fixed it properly. At least the root cause of that one seems to be solved

I had the log in issue’s myself but being so far ahead on the prize tree I shrugged it off as being a common online game issue with playing enough online games including 8 different MMO’s over the years.
And Here I thought all of my neighbours had disappeared at some kind of Halloween prank LOL

Yup. I went to all the trouble of deleting the game, waiting FOREVER for it to download and reinstall updates, then could log in and play but neighbors were gone. I should have just waited, I guess. Chillax time. Thanks, Patric for the info!
Yah, I’m in this boat. I can’t connect to the server. It’s not a huge deal, but I was out of town for a few days last week, so I’m already a little behind. I should be able to make it up, I think, so I’m not too stressed. Just want to play. 🙂
I’m able to log in on IPad but not phone. All my neighborinos are missing. I needed to trim some that are no longer playing but, darn. I’ve had some of my neighbors with awesome Springfield’s for years.
What part of relax…they’ll fix it, did you not understand? Nobody is going to lose anyone. It will be fine.

Aloha Patric, I have found a way to place KEMs really quickly without walls. I form columns right to left, top to bottom. Place KEM move screen so that it is centered or slightly above then hit ☑️ keep hitting ☑️. Repeat for each column. KEMs fall right in front of last. I am posting this here so that maybe no one else will read this. Ha Ha Ha. Try it out, If it works for you and you spread the word don’t forget to mention me.

You mean like this? KEMs don’t like water. I can fly placing them like this
No the water is like walls my column start at the edge of property and I start each column next to the last. But moving screen so that the first KEM is centered places next KEM directly in front of the last. I can place 60+ KEMs in less than a minute.
P.S. This only works if there is no purchased land to the right of the first column.
