OK. I get it. As much as Itchy and Scratchy shred one another (apparently, because the HAVE to), they probably need a Nurse around full time.

But, I have to say it…this “Nurses Station” looks a heck of a lot like one of the canal houses we got in the last major event. As in A LOT. Paint it a different color….slap a mini-portrait of the boys doing mayhem to one another…and BOOM! Canal house is a Nurses Station.

But, I’m sure some of you are going to want it. In fact…some of you are going to want more than one!  Right??

Tips On Surviving the “New Era of TSTO” After Krustyland

I believe my prediction for this major event was, “it’s gonna be a game-changer.”  Like calling something “interesting,” the term “game-changer” can mean almost anything…good or bad.  And in my opinion, that pretty much covers it. This is some good, with a handful of bad thrown in.

Let’s start with the fact that most people don’t like change. Moving, a death in the family, changing jobs…these all sit at the top of the “stress meter” when it comes to adjusting in life. And in many ways, nuking Krustyland, along with the myriad little changes that came with it, were a combination of all of these. There is was certainly death. There was the stress of packing up and moving. And, there are myriad new jobs, and ways of dealing with old jobs, that have been forced upon us.

All of this requires adjustments…even if some of the new changes are ultimately for the better. And, there are a couple of them that are clear improvements over the “old way.”

Let’s break down some tips that will help you maneuver the changes, without losing your collective minds.

Auto Nuke Remnder!

Just a quickly reminder…tomorrow morning, EA will be AutoNuking any remaining  Krustylands that have yet to be cleared and stored!  If you are till holding out, trying to maximize your land purchases, be prepared…time is running out.

For those of you who have been stuck in the “can’t nuke” glitch…this should take care of that.  Emphasis on “should” as we are all kinda holding our collective breaths at this point…right?

Close your eyes…don’t look directly at the flash…and good luck!

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread!  So, let’s get the conversation going!  Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long.  This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!

Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING.  Just no Add me requests…those should go here.  We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

So, here is your Open Thread…..

Itchy and Scratchy are finally in Springfield!  As Itchy and Scratchy land has arrived in Springfield, among the fun of a new amusement park is a ton of issues with the event itself.  From lagging and freezing to missing items and just general aggravation.  What are your thoughts on the event?

Donut Day was this past Friday, did you partake in any of the donut offers in game or in real life?  Riley and I made our way to our local Duck Donuts (Riley’s favorite) and enjoyed a couple of warm donuts!

How about the rest of your weekend?  It’s finally June, ready for the summer?  Do anything fun and exciting this weekend?
