With all of the Halloween premium items that are limited-time it may be overwhelming trying to decide which items to buy and what to pass on. With that limited-time label on items I know it can be tempting to just buy everything you can. But, have no fear! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth your donuts & what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add Devil Flanders to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button, let’s break down the Pros and Cons of adding Devil Flanders to your Springfield.
Character: Devil Flanders
Donut Price: 75
Unique?: Yes
Pros:
-The only costume, I’m aware of, for Ned Flanders.
-Humorous Alter-ego for Flanders
-Great outdoor tasks
-Limited-Time costume from last year that was brought back. Great for new tappers and Android players who couldn’t play TSTO last year because it wasn’t available on Android.
Cons:
-No quest line with it.
-For 75 donuts you’re not adding a new character or building, just a costume.
-Does not earn premium rates on tasks
Final Thought:
Honestly…if you can swing it, I say go for it. This is one of the more sought after items to the game, and the fact that EA has brought it back for this Halloween is AWESOME. At 75 donuts it’s not the worst item you can buy & some of his outdoor tasks are great!
Devil Flanders’s Tasks:
Task | Length | Payout | Building |
Show his Wrath | 1hr | $70/17xp | Outside |
Check in with the Minions | 4hrs | $175/45xp | Power Plant |
Emergency Satanic Bible Study | 8hrs | $275/70xp | Flander’s House |
Sign up New ‘Clients’ | 12hrs | $420/150xp | Outside |
Inspect the Hell Labs | 24hrs | $600/150xp | Church |

Hey Howdy Hey Addicts!
One of the decorations you unlock during the Halloween main quest (Ghost in the Machine-based App) is the Freak Show Tent. At just $760 (what a welcomed price tag!) it’s placed in part 12 of main quest. What I want to know is where you put it and what you’ve done with it?
Here’s a few that we saw:
Here’s mine:
By the shore line and the other “attractions” in town. 🙂
Here’s Another way to place the tent:
As a Squidport attraction! Must be a fun boardwalk!
And here’s another one from a neighbor:
Surrounded by wailing walls!
So, show us yours! Leave the link for your Freak Show Tent screen shot in the comments below. If you need help with screenshots you can check our our How-To post here and if you need help with Dropbox Links you can check out our How-To Post here.
Look forward to seeing just where you put that Freak Show Tent!
Just received a minor in game update…perhaps this is fixing the Lisa/Homer glitch? We’re checking into it, but for now assume it’s just a minor glitch fix update and nothing is going to change in your game. As soon as we have more info we’ll post it right here.
Note: Some people got the update yesterday and some people got it today. We DO believe it’s just fixing glitches since it’s the exact same amount of files. It is not adding anything new to your game. As soon as we know more we’ll update it here.
Update on the Update: It would appear…by my own accounts and that of MANY of our amazing Addicts readers…that with this update you can now no longer tap more than 5 ghosts in a friend’s town. Also, it appears as if the Homer and Lisa glitch has not yet been fixed.
For all of you who still have a character “lost at sea” hopefully it will all be fixed soon!
Happy GOOing everyone!
Hey howdy hey Tappers!
We’ve been noticing a few questions popping up in the comments of some posts and, while we try to answer each one individually, we thought everyone could benefit from the answers to these questions. So it’s time for another addition of Addicts Question Corner….
First, just a quick recap of where you should, at least, be at this point in the game in order to stay on track to earn all 10 personal GOO prizes by November 7th. According to Bunny’s GOO Calender you should be averaging about 300 GOO per day and by the end of the day today (October 9th) you should have approx 2,440 GOO canisters (or more) to stay on track for 10,000 GOO by November 7th!
Also, as a community we’re currently sitting at nearly 5,800,000,000…at this rate we should be collecting the next community GOO prize next week about this time! First Church of Lard Lad was dropped into towns yesterday morning, you can find more info on that here.
Now onto the questions…. Continue reading

With that limited-time label on items I know it can be tempting to just buy everything you can. But, have no fear! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth your donuts & what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the premium zombies to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button, let’s break down the Pros and Cons of adding premium zombies to your Springfield.
Character(s): Crazy Zombie/ Senile Zombie (Shuffling Zombie is free with collecting GOO & Snarling Zombie costs $50,000 in game cash)
Donut Price: 12 Donuts each
Unique?: Yes
Pros:
-Reasonably priced
-Animation when tapped, same animation as the Shuffling Zombie.
-Limited-Time characters. Great for new tappers and Android players who couldn’t play TSTO last year because it wasn’t available on Android.
Cons:
-No tasks are assigned for the Zombies
-Do not come with unlock quests
-No interaction with other characters and/or animals in Springfield
Final Thought:
Personally I think you’re better off saving your donuts and passing on this one. While 12 donuts is a really low price for a premium character…so it may be tempting to buy… it’s still a character that will just walk around your town and not really give you any “in game value”, other than something pretty to look at (think Funzos). So, unless you’ve already purchased all of the other premium characters or you’re a completest, I’d pass on this one and save your donuts.
