Happy Saturday morning! Hope everyone is having a great start to their weekend! Just popping in with a quick announcement about today’s Addicts Live…
Unfortunately, due to a few things popping up this past week we’re going to have to postpone today’s Addicts Live. Sorry for the late notice! So instead of seeing our smiling faces this morning, we’ll be delaying it at least one more week. (same Bat-time, same Bat-Channel) We’re still working out if we’ll do next week, or stay on Schedule and do the 10th, so I’ll have an announcement up this coming week about what the plan is.
In the next episode we’ll talk about the end of Bart Royale (hooray!), what’s next and our usual random antics! So look forward to seeing you on the next episode!

It wasn’t so much that someone was trying to influence an election, or sway a vote, or even “troll” someone with a photoshopped pic, that made me sad.
No…it was the fact that I was actually excited to follow up on something that happened in the last Addicts Live, and ran into a dead end…even after “The Picture” showed up in my email.
That’s right…there is a mystery attached to this episode of “Friday Filler,” and unfortunately, at the end of the investigation, a death was discovered.

So this event has added new craftable items for each Act, with most of the items hitting during Act 1 and a couple new added for each subsequent Act. There seems to be a ton of confusion with many players about the recent Act III prize award of the “Damaged Jebediah Statue.” I understand your confusion…as EA, once again, in their infinite desire to make things clear and easy for the user (NOT!!!) have failed to mention that this is a SKIN… As in, you have to have the statue first, or the skin won’t work.
It has been so long since most of us long-time players got the statue, that it is easy to forget that many of you started playing the game well after August of 2013. Makes sense…
But, there is an answer that should make it clear that this glitch isn’t a glitch…

A new element added to our games for Bart Royale is a Defensive Bonus. Simply explained, it’s an extra bonus of Prize Track currency awarded at any of the bases (playscape/junk/ruffian) when you place items (that award a Defensive Bonus) in the “zone” around the base.
So basically, it’s a simple way to earn even more prize track currency.
Let’s take a look at how items from Act 3 impact the Defensive Bonus….

Act 3 hit our games early this morning and so far….more rinse and repeat. Just with a few graphical changes. Of course a new Act means, new questline to work our way through.
Don’t forget the Questline will help you get some bonus prize currency…so make sure you complete it to earn that extra currency.

Let’s just get this out of the way… “This Event Is Too Long!”
There. I’ve said what needs to be said. EA? Are you listening? TWO ACTS PLEASE…Three feels drawn out, and the prizes seem like afterthoughts, that you are just throwing out there to extend the event into three acts. Grinding…and more grinding ahead. It is EALPish… (EA Lazyass Programming).
On a plus side…I finished Act II with days to spare. As in…4 days early…which made the weekend nice, if Deb didn’t get the flu, and we didn’t have to attend a funeral (not Deb’s). But, I digress…
There is no magic to Act III. It is simply a matter of logging in every 4 hours…doing the assault/defend shuffle…and coming back 4 hours later to do it all over again.
