Little update just hit our games….
At first glance this update is labeled Hotfix 2…which tells us that it’s glitch fixes. We’re combing through the files now to see if there’s anything else that has changed…BUT if you were experiencing the basket glitch and it’s now resolved please let us know!

It still looks like many have the basket glitch and “Thank You” screen issue. 🙁 There still may be another Update coming for those. Hang in there. They were working on it as of last night when I was on a call with them. We are looking for confirmation if anyone else’s Egg Generators are now putting out the RIGHT color. MK1 should be your COMMON main player color. MK2 should be your UNCOMMON non player color. We also want to know if those with the Bunny Stunner/Zapper are still having issue with it going to the edit screen. Let us know.
Still picking through files to see if anything else stands out.
Have contacted EA several times but still have 16 baskets sitting empty ( one has 1 blue egg in but that was when placed fron inventory.) However, just tapped my Egg Generator and it gave me blue eggs! Up to now it’s been pink as I’m a pink player but I’m not complaining as it’s blue eggs that I want. Did have an apology from Ea about basket glitch and told that I was given 700 blue eggs as goodwill gesture. Unfortunately, they didn’t arrive – just a load of wooden fences!
Go into the contact area and reopen your case # and contact them again to ensure the issue is corrected properly as they promised. I do know they are still working to resolve the issues with the baskets and generators. Hang in there. A lot are impacted by the glitch.
My Bunny Stunner still goes to the edit screen 🙁
Please contact EA and let them know. That way they can look at your game to narrow cause of the issue. Let us know how it goes.

Anyone know if it’s true that you stop receiving baskets once you finish the main quest line? I don’t want to finish it if I’m not going to recieve anymore baskets because I will never have a chance of getting all the prizes!
There is nothing that shows a time or date stamp on the baskets you win from bunnies. Just the chance % of getting them. They are random so it varies for each player when, where, and how many.
I finished the main Easter quest in both my towns a few days ago and haven’t gotten any more Easter baskets in either town since then, even though I keep zapping all my bunnies regularly.
I accidentally bought two pink egg baskets when I had 3 blue ones I cannot sell them or store them so that way some of my friends click the pink baskets and some of them click the blue I end up with no eggs! How can I remove the pink ones???
There’s no way to remove them once placed other than filling them. Sorry
My problem is that no one can fill my baskets. When they go in my town there is no option to donate eggs. I can’t sell the baskets and I can’t store them so they are just sitting there collecting dust. When i tried placing a new basket it was already half full and people were able to fill it. So I have 4 baskets that can’t be filled and 2 that can..wth
That is the basket glitch EA is trying to resolve.

I cannot find my basket. it has disappeared??
Hi, I am trying to figure out where my Easter basket went. I bought it with my donuts this morning and placed it in my Springfield, but now it is gone. i cannot find it, it is not in my inventory, but my donuts are still gone, do you know what might have happened to it?

I didn’t have a basket glitch before, but since the update I must have zapped 500 rabbits and I have yet to receive another basket. Before I was getting one about the rate that the site said I would, now I’m getting none 🙁
They’re still there. I went about 5 days with none and got a pink one about an hour ago.
How do you exchange the eggs for the box???

Hey I think it’d be better if you guys would put in a confirmation on weather or not we want to swap eggs!! Sometimes we bump a friends basket by mistake while collecting our stuff while visiting friends & it just takes our eggs w/o confirming that is what we wanted!! I know it ticks me off cuz I only trade if I desperately need any and I work hard to get the eggs I do have only to mistakingly bump a friends basket & have my eggs removed!! Anyone else feel this is a great idea!??
That is a great idea! Unfortunately, we’re not EA (see this post for who we are) nor do we have any affiliation with EA (or Fox or Gracie Films). We’re just fans of the game..and happen to be really good at helping 🙂

Completley agree about the egg confirmation.
I also want a double donut spend confirmation because it is still WWWWWAAAAAYYYYY to easy to waste donuts turbo tapping !!

It takes time a patience! Have you checked out the Conform-O-Meter area of the site?
I’m having the issue where when you try to use the zapper it enters into edit mode instead, even when I hold over an empty part of grass with no buildings/decorations/anything around it.
Ugh… this glitch is the worst. Seriously hoping EA has a patch very soon for all the assorted glitches. Best tip is if you go into build mode and hide buildings and decs, the bunnies are very easy to spot. I’ve been clearing them this way as a cathartic dealio lol. Bopping is way more satisfying than that electricity sound.
Yeah, thanks! I finally figured that out after trying to get them all for about an hour lol. Makes it much easier when you hide the buildings and trees. still hoping they fix it SOON though because it so much faster with the zapper! Argh!
Yah Freakster! Same issue here but with me it is only one ghost that visits. On a differenf note, i stayed patient and counted when i was not thanked and my results were almost half (47) of visited neighbors with no Thank You message. I had 3 i could not visit yet. Just gonna keep on zapping and maybe when EA gets to it, it’ll be fixed. Quite a good bit of XP to miss!

Today is ANZAC Day in Australia. The day where we remember all Australian and New Zealand (Army Corps) Defence Force members who have served or lost their lives in conflict. The date is the anniversary of the landing at Gallipoli during WW1. As an ex serving member I am proud of my Defence Force and feel privileged to have played a small part.

This Easter update is such a huge waste of time it’s making we want to give up on the game as a whole. I’m missing three baskets worth of eggs, can’t put any new baskets out, got nothing but ponds and fences from the blue box, an Easter tree from the pink box and more fences and a gate from the gold box. I wouldn’t even pay for those items with the way too much cash that I have.
I’d rather they spent more time giving us something to do in Krustyland than these gimmicky things that aren’t worth the time or effort. Lots of work for no payoff at all doesn’t make a game fun.
I’ve seen more people hating this Easter update than enjoying it so I hope they’re taking notes.
My freemium journey through this event has been similar. Other than Johnny Fiestas and the weird flying rabbit, lots of other stuff but the fences are actually good looking with certain designs. Have no doubt EA is paying attention to tappers opinions. I’d be surprised to see another event like this one but who knows. Still lots of time left in the event so no reason to lose hope. I know you’ll get some of the cool stuff. Fingers crossed for more rather than less.
In addition to the basket glitch, the bunny carrots don’t seem to work anymore. For three times in a row I didn’t get a single bunny. (And yes, I did clear out the town first).
My farm is working normal but others have this issue too. Definitely report the issue to EA so they know how widespread this issue is. It’s the only way they’ll know to add this to the fix list.
I think the mini update affected the carrots. I grew them twice today and zero rabbits showed up. Has anyone else had this problem?

These glitches just get weirder and weirder…. This afternoon I finally won my first premium item, the Banana Dictatorship. I’ve been getting sooo sick of fences and decorations… Anyway, I placed it in my town, to then come back this evening for some tappin and more basket purchases…only to win the same building AGAIN!!! After checking, my first building had disappeared and now I got it back by winning it again….and spending twice the eggs on it. I count that as bizarre!!! Anybody seen that before?
Just hearing about the multiples today. A couple tappers have reported it. I really loathe glitches but unfortunately it happens with every game. Good news I guess is you still have the best building available. Sorry to hear about the egg loss. Only advice I can give is to make sure EA knows about this new glitch so they can check it out. They may even comp your eggs. Nothing to lose with asking, right?
Today I encountered the basket glitch twice and could solve both.
When you see that you didn’t get enough eggs out of the basket, just tap the friends Button and than again the home button. The missing eggs should be added to your count.
Thats how I solve a lot of problems in TSTO^^

I know this has been mentioned before, but I am getting visits from everyone I have ever deleted…this only really began with the Bunny event…all day, everyday…ghosts return to haunt me…
Now a space has appeared in my neighbor’s list but the game won’t let me add anyone…got 97 neighbors…need two more and prefer ones that frequent this place…if EA fixes my problem. 🙂
The add neighbor issue, impacting us all. You don’t have a desktop for the work around on it. 🙁 Sorry.

I could be wrong but I thought you received 400 eggs when collecting a ‘full’ basket in your town…tonight I was only given 200. I’m certain before it was always 400…had a software update earlier and now my baskets are acting up. Any suggestions?
The update never corrected the Basket issue. There is reports already to EA of the “half eggs”. It is a simple fix though. Just resync your game by going to Krustyland, a few neighbors and back, or exit out then back into the game. If another step is needed, then restart your device. Should reflect correct count after that. Let me know. 🙂
Thanks for clearing this up, Bunny. I was really pissed when EA cheated me out of 200 eggs. The number seems to have corrected itself.
My “Thank You” glitch continues. At first, I realized maybe it’s my mistake; perhaps if I don’t tap their baskets, I haven’t “helped them all I can,” so the message won’t pop up. It turns out, whether it pops up or not has no relation to whether the town has baskets available or not.
These glitches just seem to keep getting weirder and weirder….
It seems the new update has brought on a new glitch for me…crashes from friends towns. Every fourth or fifith town I visit causes the app to crash as the town is trying to load. Anyone else having this issue?
Had the issue long before the update. Please let EA know so they can narrow in on devices impacted.

Still having this problem still not heard from EA it’s so frustrating I can’t collect from my neighbours game continually crashes 🙁
Ugh… this was my game during Halloween and then again during Level 38. I know how sucky it can be. Seriously hope EA gets you fixed quicker than my 2 week exercises in patience.
Is anyone else being told that they’re maxed out on FP for the day? I just received a pop up I’ve never seen before saying “social butterfly! You’ve maxed out on FP for today but you can still collect xp & money”. It’s odd because I was only about 1/3 of the way through my neighbours & in the next town I didn’t get eggs for any of my 3 actions. I’ve been maxed out on FP (for at least a few weeks) & have all the prizes but I’ve never seen that message before. Odd.
Either way I’m loving the Easter event & the challenge of getting as many of those darn eggs as possible!
Basically, to avoid unfair tapping…you are limited to a TOTAL of 300 neighbor taps per 24hr period (30/30/30/210). If you hit that, regardless where you are in tapping, you need to wait for it to reset. Then it will start the clock again. I let all my towns clear out and reset so ALL say 3/3 taps. I then pick one town to be my “clock” and I tap that town. Then I know where I am time wise as I hop neighbor to neighbor and how much longer I need to wait if I max out the 300.

Well that makes sense. It’s just strange that it hasn’t happened before. Maybe it’s because I just maxed out on neighbours and they seem to be separated into 3 groups all ready for tapping at three different times. Thanks!
It just depends on if you wait a while, and the neighbors become ready to tap before it refreshes…causing an overlap. Lol.
I have never heard/read any procedure in tapping neighbors until today, girl…I admit the blame is mine fore I’ve not journeyed into those threads that I’m sure one of you wrote last year…LOL…My list of neighbors is so mixed up…with any given swipe of the zoomed out map of three towns, it’s rare for all three to be ready…again, my fault but it’d be nice to arrange them by time rather than ralphabet…
Funny how the game is somewhat geared for us with a touch of OCD…the three taps…lol…
Anyway…my list got totally scrambled when EA changed it to alphabetical…and I’d go nutz waiting for all to clear… 🙂
Hahahah. I know. It doesn’t happen that often, so people usually don’t see it unless they get a lil tap happy. 😛
ANOTHER weird thing I noticed…maybe others are experiencing this as well…I shelled out 75 D’s for the Frink Mk II and it’s supposed to spit out 300 blue eggs (for me, since I’m pink dominant) which it states is the reward…but it’s giving me 300 Pink eggs, which are next to worthless to me at this point. At least it give me some more trading material, but still I’d much rather have the 300 Blues. ALL IN ALL still loving the holiday updates and this doesn’t really ruin anything for me, just something I noticed.
This is another ongoing glitch with the baskets EA is working on and trying to get an update out to resolve. There are two issues with the MK…it either shows just the wrong color egg above, but still gives you the RIGHT color when it adds to your counts….or it gives you BOTH wrong color egg above AND wrong color counts.
You can contact EA with the issue and open a ticket with them. Sorry.

For months now I have been trying to login in with my origin account and every time I say yes it is my Springfield it says cannot connect to server. But it still lets me play the game and my wifi is perfectly fine and because of this I have no friends
Try the desktop version instead. If still issues, Contact EA. They can help set you up. 😉
So I have been zapping and tapping regularly since the event started and still haven’t won a single basket. Is that normal?
No where to be found in your lil brown cardboard box inventory? They are random, but I have got at least one…and I didn’t even know it was there til I looked in the “P” section of my inventory. Lol 🙂
EA the baskets seem worse now they do not seem to be able to drop eggs off they just stay empty. And no xp for vists to neighbors with baskets. My first filled basket disappeared all together eggs ans all. I hope that someone got the eggs. Oh well ea I will take free donuts that would make me feel better after chasing bunnies all week.
FYI…we are NOT EA (just in case you didn’t know). We are just a group of seasoned Simpson Tapped Out Players ourselves. We have lots of experience with the game and well aware of the ins n outs of it. Oh I know your not ea just making a statement or a wish I don’t think I will contact them it makes me more frustrated when a company says they will fix something and some times the new improved version is not good it’s worse. I have no money invested just tons of time. I enjoy and know moral support from you all here is not falling on deaf ears. Validation goes a long way.

I have been playing the Simpson’s Tapped Out since July 2013 on my Motorola Photon (Android) and now also for the last month on a Samsung Tablet 3.
In the last 24 hours I have been unable to get the game to work on either device. It will begin to open, ask me to click on bottom right green tab to continue, then will say I had not logged out properly on my other device and to check other device, then a screen saying some previous actions might be lost. When I attempt to bypass these two warnings, in the past, it would continue on to load the game. Now it simply kicks me out of the game entirely and sends me back to my devices main operating screen.
PLEASE HELP! I am an addicted tapper in withdrawal!

Guh! I’m hating this event in the worst way. My baskets don’t work and I’ve gotten nothing but fences and ponds. I’m already tired of this. It’s like a punishment for all the people that whined about NOT having an Easter related event last year.
Awww that is too bad your luck is low. Just hang in there. We are only 25% in. Not every event is for everyone. That’s why each is so different. There is always something for everyone. Just sit back and play as normal. Don’t sweat the small stuff. Just have fun. If you need to walk away and take a break, then go for it. The game will still be here when you get back.
Make your game what you want to take out of it. (I am enjoying the event myself, but I may be a lil biased too. Lol.) If anything, feel free to vent if you need to. SO much stuff going on with this one. I can be overwhelming at times. 🙂
