Hey there lil Rigellians. Having fun getting squished? Getting lots of Ray Gun? Ready for the next Phase? Well to take a lil break from all that alien popping, figured I would recap last weeks New Simpsons Episode: Treehouse of Horror XXV.
Hey there squishers, crashers and general alien warfighters!
Wookiee popping by with some Simpsons Halloween News. Between college, mid-terms, and a job fighting zombies in the apocalypse at Knott’s Scary Farm, I haven’t been around much and for that I apologize. Alissa the Amazing and Bunny Foo Foo have been manning Fort Addicts awesomely.
In a rare break from cell biology, Roman history, women’s rights issues, politics of WWI and general resting of my bones/voice, I decided to catch up on some Simpson’s news and what to my weary eyes should appear but a commercial announcing that FXX is broadcasting 24 Treehouse of Horror episodes in a row on Sunday 26 October 2014. Starting at 9 AM, FXX will be all-TOH for a solid 12 hours.
I know everyone doesn’t have availability to enjoy this but I thought I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention it here for those that do. I won’t be able to watch all of it but my DVR will certainly be recording 12 hours of Halloween entertainment. Here’s a couple articles I found with more info. Apparently FXX will also have mini-marathons throughout the following week. The schedule is in the second article.
Best news is that FXX stated they have more themed marathons planned for the future. Woo hoo!
Hope this event finds everyone well. I’m plugging away at it just like the rest of you and can admit I’d be lost without my sister Addicts. Much love as always from the resident fuzzball. I’ll be back with my usual presence November 3rd. TTFN… Wookiee out!
P.S. If you’re curious about the zombie fighting (I pronounce that ‘Zambies’ by the way), check out this video.
Candy time is back! For a this weekend (it looks like this ends Monday 10/27 at 0800GMT) you can purchase Candy (and nails) from the store! Of course to do so you’ll have to spend donuts, but they’re actually priced fairly well. (At least in my opinion anyway…)
Here’s what you can get:
It looks like all the prizes from the Gold and Silver Treat bags can be purchased…which is great if you’re struggling to collect Pumpkins or Chocolates! 🙂
Remember…this willdisappear on 10/27 at 0800GMT (4 am EDT)…however it looks like it will be reappearing each weekend…like the Elixir.
What do YOU think of the candy for sale? Have you purchased any? What items are you currently saving to craft? Sound off in the comments below, you know we LOVE hearing from you!
Well….unless you’ve been living under a rock you know that Halloween has arrived in Springfield! A dark haze has over taken the streets of Springfield and Aliens are on the attack! By now we’re all busy squishing and stopping those aliens dead in their tracks….and earning as many Ray Guns as we can!
With this event EA is trying something new (for them) and releasing items/prizes in phases. Two prizes each phase, three phases, for a total of 6 prizes all together. For the second phase, which lasts 11 days and ends 10/31 (0800GMT), you can win 2 prizes by collecting Ray Guns. The first prize awarded at 2,825 Ray Guns is the Bulldozer-saurus.
Let’s take a closed look at this magestic Bulldozer-saurus, and just what happens when it enters your town…
How are my favorite Tappers doing this fine evening? Everyone glad it’s almost Friday?
I was making my usual internet rounds when I noticed a little video on EA’s TSTO Facebook Page.
At first I thought this was just the normal TSTO Trailer…you know the one we see at the start of TSTO. Where Homer blows up Springfield. But I love that video…and I had a little time to kill so I decided to make myself giggle and watch it.
Low and behold it wasn’t the intro video…instead it was a Trailer for the TSTO Halloween Event! Check it out:
How does the new one stack up with the video we got for last year’s event:
And….we’re now at (about) the halfway point for the Halloween Event. So let’s turn this into a little open thread (I know it’s not Sunday, but hey it’s always a good day to talk right?) and talk about how YOU’RE doing with the Event. Are you still enjoying it? What prizes have you won? What are you most looking forward to? Have you encountered any frustrating glitches? Sound off in the comments below, you know we LOVE hearing from you!
So, one of the neat things about the Halloween update is that for the first time we can create our own little adventure…sorta. With the introduction of the Make-A-Thing Shop we have the ability to create our own prizes, by picking and choosing what we want to make…and earning goodies accordingly. (or in some cases earning goodies and choose what we want based on that)
Bunny gave us a great overview on earning, choosing and crafting…but now let’s take it all a step further and look at what happens when you craft and add the items to YOUR Springfield.
First up…let’s take a look at the “Good Son” Hugo…
Remember…crafting Hugo and running through his questline is what will unlock the Spooky House for you. Details on the Spooky House and how to get it will be below as well…
Well, smack dab in the middle of Halloween Level 46 has dropped in our little tapping devices! And finally we get a little more freemium estrogen in our Springfields, as Level 46 introduces Mrs. Muntz! (Bet you didn’t see THAT coming?)
So now that there’s a new Level in our tapping devices, you know what that means right? Time for another Turbo Tappin! So with that let’s jump right in and Turbo Tap the Main Questline (Freemium) of Level 46!
As we mentioned in the Level 46 rundown post the main questline is started by Nelson, and his need for an adult back in his life. Prompting you to build Classy Girls Strip Club, and wait 24hrs while it builds. So now….let’s get to Tappin’ shall we?!
