Time has expired on the Springfield Jobs! Yes, the plug was pulled officially at 10am ET (about 20 minutes ago). No extending this one!
Already longing for something to do in TSTO? Have no fear…another update is on the way! Yes, the next mini event has hit the files (but it is NOT live in the game yet….so don’t ask me where it is, it’s not here yet). This one will run for 2 weeks…ends May 23rd…so it’ll give you fun stuff to do while we wait for the next big event to hit TSTO.

I hope the fix the glitch. i couldn’t buy 3/4 of the last event because they were locked in the third act portion. All that loot currency wasted on “canal buildings”. grrr
Nope. Got the new update, and the glitch is STILL THERE
I just updated mine on Android, it starts with an offer to buy NPCs of the Justice Agent and the Cat Burgler for 50 donuts, then new dialog with Martin about Bitcoin. My characters have an hour left in their 4-hr tasks, so haven’t started it yet. But the big new feature – Group Storage!!! I tested it on a small area, you can now store a group of items including roads, and then replace them either as individual items, or as the entire group intact. Haven’t tested with water or other road surfaces yet. So excited about this feature!! It will make redesigns so much easier. My town needs a lot of work, but there are some areas I love and don’t want to mess with. Getting them out of the way while I figure out where to put them will be so cool.

Just updated on Android…
And we now have Group Storage! Store a block of items and then put them back into your town as a group or individually.
(And I had thought that the game-engine code had been finalized and locked down. Silly me!)
I had close to 550 to be used for crafting. Was gonna do it right after I’ve tucked the kids into bed.
Now, it just went poof!! 💔💔💔
I couldn’t purchase anything from Act 2 or Act 3, the glitch locked them on me. I had to spend the rest of my currency on those ugly “canal buildings” from Act One
I was so close to getting fit Tony! I should have just used my 5 donuts and bought him! 😡
Wow – it updated all by itself! I was gonna collect another 60 to craft something and i opened it up and it was all gone! Never had that happen before!
Not a fan of it just ending, missed out on even having the option to buy fat tony
I noticed in the last two events that they did they same thing. I guess no more manual updating at the end of events
I just missed out on crafting a final Beefeater. I’ll have to store one of the Queen’s guard to even out the lines.
Ditto. I was going to craft one last guard, clearing last justice agents, gone when I came back. At least I got Fit Tony with 7 hrs to spare and crafted 2 last gondolas before it was gone.
I’m happy you got Fit Tony. That’s the main thing to go after. The other stuff is the other stuff. Cheers!
Yeah I found it weird playing the game. On my 10am break I was tapping friend’s criminals then poof it stopped instantly. As for down time I have none. I got all the new characters from the event and now I’m trying to clear up my task bar. Probably this weekend I’ll do a redisgn in my town. If something doesn’t serve a purpose like bonus % increase or money & XP it goes to storage.
So much for downtime. Oh well it’s not like I have enough land to design the items from the last event or the event before that for that matter.

No one else has said it’s live yet (which surprises me) so I don’t know if the OP statement is accurate. I do not have my iPod to check.
It’s live on iOS in Ireland with a new feature of selecting group items to store.

Like the past several updates, I had to delete the game from my iPad then reload from the APP store, log in again…and it is taking forever to download.
I just downloaded the app store update, on my Android phone. That’s 10:39 am PST. It required me to log in to my EA account before the splash screen would load. Then it loaded the game to a popup offer to buy the Robber and Justice Agent NPCs for 50 donuts.
Live on android but I had to pay cash to get bitcoins. Each player had a different amount and Burns you just hit start. Something’s not right.
Anytime soon as I am about to send everyone on a 12 hour task and go to bed lol
I love how they changed the opening for this speacil occasion. I laughed at that so hard the first time I watched it.
I’m done with this game. Got held up on job and I log in and everything is gone didn’t get Fit Tony or the Resort.
It logged everyone out…be patient, maybe you just need to log back in? I think this was part of the process in getting us more ‘’secure login”.

5 bucks says it’s not “Who shot Mr. Burns?”, but instead it’s a mini event based on the fan favorite episode with Lady Gaga, lol

I thought maybe it was going to trigger the new mini event once it was completed but not seeing any mention of it here.

I was expecting the cash register to say “NRA4EVER!” when Maggie was scanned as would seem fitting with the WSMB link, but I guess it would be a little politically sensitive now.
I’ve wanted this event for sooooo long (https://tstoaddicts.com/2017/05/30/from-the-mouths-of-addicts-future-tsto-events-2/) as I’m such a big fan of the episodes hopefully this event will be based on and I really am hoping for a new format that parallels the fun of the genre!! So excited :D!!

I had 100 more jewelry to get before fit tony at 7am today and when i came back the game was gone . Of all times EA got efficient it had to be today.

I tried to watch 3 Billboards but it was after a double at work and I was super tired and fell asleep despite how good it was. Anyone who saw it know a connection to lumberjacks without revealing spoilers? I guess I need to rent it again.

Yeah it’s showing me my correct level but a bunch of event notices popped up and my tap radius is tiny but my IRS building is showing level 9. Is this different than rollback or part of the same issue?

Nice play on 3 Billboards.. Since we just got Fit Tony, I went back and watched that episode yesterday (season 22 episode 9 I think). The ending there might also be a little clue.
Got it. I predict Burns wants to try Maggie as a juvenile and the Simpson’s go on the lam- to Canada! In a Home Alone scenario Lisa is left behind to fight for her family.
* as an adult I mean. Following the trend of juveniles as young as 10 being tried as adults, Burns wants to push the boundaries by prosecuting a baby. A 30 year old baby, but a baby.
