It’s Monorail time in Springfield! Yes, the Monorail is now in Springfield….as well as a whole lotta garbage. So what are we doing with all that junk? Well the one and only Sebastian Cobb is using it to create parts for the Monorail! (talk about the ultimate recycling..)
Sebastian Cobb is the final character you can earn during the Monorail Event. He comes to us via the final Act 3 prize. And once unlocked he comes with his own questline. For those of you that have earned him already let’s take a look at his short questline now…

Once again new premium items have hit our Monorail stores! This time a couple of new recycle and Monorail themed items have arrived via the donut spending route. One particular Cafe isn’t really from Springfield, instead it’s from North Haverbrook. Now I know you may be trying to decide if this is worth YOUR donuts, but don’t sweat it! We’re here to tell you what’s worth the donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

The Monorail Act 3 is now upon us! And one of the super cool things about Act 3 is that the final prize not only awards us a cool looking building and character…BUT also the chance to earn Track pieces AND Free donuts ppermanently! So for everyone worrying you don’t have enough track…don’t panic because as long as you unlock the 10th prize of Act 3 you’ll be able to keep earning track long after the Monorail Event is over!
Of course the prize I’m talking about is the Rail Yard and it comes complete with Sebastian Cobb as a playable character for your Springfield! The Rail Yard is the final Act 3 prize and is earned at 154,550 
. But just what is it? What does it do? How do you earn free donuts from it? Let’s break it all down below….

Update: The Monorail section of the store is now working in my game…so whatever it was it looks like it was a quicker fix than initially thought. Check to see if it’s back in your game…if not Contact EA.
Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Just popping in real quick with a bug alert that’s going around right now. This bug is ONLY impacting players who have completed all of the Act 3 prizes.
Once you complete all of the Act 3 prizes the Monorail Section of the Store stops working. As in you go to your store menu and hit the red “Go To” under the icon of Conductor Homer and nothing happens. It won’t open at all. Causing you not to have access to ANY of the Monorail items in the store right now. (However it still works for all other areas of the store)
If you’re experiencing this bug my best advice is to contact EA. Let them know what’s going on. But first BEFORE you contact them…try uninstalling/resintalling TSTO. Why? Because it’s the first thing they’re going to ask you to do. So do it first and see if it works. If it doesn’t solve the problem then contact them and let them know you’ve already done an uninstall/reinstall and it didn’t work.
I’ve got the same issue going on right now and I’ll be contacting them as soon as I leave work. I will update this post once I get in touch with them.
For now I suspect it’s going to take a patch to resolve the issue…which most likely means waiting it out. BUT the more people that contact them the quicker they are to react to these types of issues. So if you’re experiencing the same problem contact them.

Just a quick tip for those of you who are having issues with characters, buildings and sections of your towns going missing during the Monorail Event.
We’ve been informed by some players who have had the issue and spoke with EA, that it appears this issue is happening as a result of tracks being placed in the water. (at least for some, this may not be the cause for everyone)
So…simple solution to try if you’re missing Characters/Buildings or sections of your town…remove tracks from the water (if they’re there). Then hard close and restart your game, see if that helps. You may still have to store and replace buildings to bring characters back, but keeping tracks out of the water should prevent this from happening going forward.
IF you DON’T have tracks in the water and are still having issues, contact EA. Add your name to the growing list of players with the issue.
IF this doesn’t work for you…contact EA.
Also, if one of the missing characters is Homer or Lisa you cannot store the Simpson House..so you will have to contact EA to bring them back.
So the bottom line? If you’re having issues with your town and you have tracks in the water, take them out of the water and see if that helps solve the problem.
And remember…if you’re having crashing issues it helps if you disconnect tracks from the station. They don’t have to be stored, just disconnect them from the station itself.

Note: The servers have been giving me issues off and on since Act 3 hit. It’s probably just a bunch of people trying to get in at once. Or it’s just because it’s 4am here on the East Coast and 1am where EA is. In any event…don’t panic if you see the Bart Screen. Just hit retry and see if you can get back in. If you can’t, walk away from your game for a little bit and come back to it later. The servers will come back, they always do…

Remember…this is an automatic change in your game. Nothing to download, it should just start up in your game..
