What a Wookiee Wants: Oh No! More Krustyland ideas!

You know… the little joke in the Maggie questline about Krustyland got me thinking about EA’s forgotten little disaster.

Moe Krustyland TSTO DialogueWhy don’t they do more with it? Is there a way to connect it to regular Springfield without the shuttle so people don’t ignore it? I am an admitted theme park enthusiast and I enjoy going to Krustyland. I’m proud of my designing in KL.

Wookiee Krustyland

Even if you feel like Moe about it, the Sideshow You donuts should be enough of an incentive to pop by. I’ve had some ideas for bringing some TLC to the theme park before and actually had a post idea for months that was delayed by events, school, work, and real life in general.  Then I read some of our addicts discussing it in the SUnday Open Thread this morning and realized I should get off my Duff (pun intended) and finally write the post since I find myself with some free time. Of course, I write on said Duff but anyhoo… here we go-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh………..

KRUSTYLAND… now what?

“To all who come to this krusty place; welcome. Krustyland is your land. Here age relives fond memories of Simpsons past…and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of nausea. Krustyland is dedicated to the debts, the dreams and the hard laughs that have created Springfield…with the hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration to all the world.”

Level 39 is Here!!! Complete Update Rundown

Level 39 unlock

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Level 39 is finally here! (and comes with TWO FREE DONUTS) Working through it right now (thank goodness I have my tab since my phone says it’s full!) and as soon as we have the details we’ll post them right here (as always)!

Screenshot_2014-03-28-07-43-41

Remember this is an in App update so no need to hit the app store! If your update doesn’t start right away…if you’re at Level 38, Level 39 should automatically hit….try the usual troubleshoot methods (hard close, reopen app, restart your device) that should help trigger it.

Dolph kicks off this update, so make sure this bully is free! (yes he must be free.  It’s not an auto-start)

Also remember…as with all new updates…your Confirm Donut Spend Button may have been reset.  Meaning it’s turned off.  So check it out and make sure it’s switched to on…unless you want to end up with 2 Whales…. 😉

As always for those who like to be surprised we’ll reveal the details after the fold….so what follows are SPOILERS Continue reading

How Do Decorations Impact My Krust-o-Meter?

The available decorations in Krustyland don’t generate any income (or tickets) for you but they do impact your Krust-o-Meter raking, which in the end does impact how many tickets you earn.

The Krustyland decorations impact either your Grub, Merch or Kitsch rating on your Krust-o-Meter.  Want to know which decorations give you the best Krust-o-Meter bang for your ticket?  Here’s a breakdown of the Krustyland Decorations and which type of rating they affect and how many points they award:

Decoration Krust-o-Meter Category Points
Cotton Candy Stand Grub 10
Krustyland Hotdog Stand Grub 10
Krustyland Popcorn Stand Grub 10
Krustyland Fried Dough Stand Grub 10
Krustyland Fence Kitsch 1
All Shurbs Kitsch 5
Krustyland Bench Kitsch 10
Krustyland Garbage Bin Kitsch 10

Sideshow You Merch 10

Unfortunately, if you’re not using donuts, you will need duplicates to reach 5 bouncy balls, but hey what park doesn’t have a popcorn stand at every corner?

Happy Tapping friends!
