Whale now, I bet you are wondering why on earth did they stick this massive mammal into our game? Where did it come from? What does it have to do with the Simpsons? Well just sit tight, grab a nice cup of your favorite drink, snuggle up, and listen close as I tell a tall tale of a Whale.

Now, as with all new premium content you may be asking “Should I Spend Donuts On THIS?” Well before you hit that confirm button, lets break down the Pros and Cons of adding this criminal chasing boat to your Springfield!

Donut Price: 40donuts
Unique?: No, you can have as many as you want
Bonus: 2% (bonus cash and XP to all tasks)
Bonus % Per Donut Spent: 0.05%
Conform-o-Meter Points: 400 Vanity
Where Can I Place It?: Water only.
Final Thought: At 40 donuts and a 2% bonus the Knightboat is one of the best donut to bonus items you can purchase in TSTO. Plus it’s a BOAT, and gives you something new for your water.
Of course water in TSTO is one of the most expensive tiles of land to purchase, so it’s understandable if you don’t have enough water open to accommodate the Knightboat AND Squidport. But once some opens up it’s definitely a good investment!

Ever hit a speed up task button by mistake? How about accidentally making a silly donut purchase in the store because you tapped the wrong thing?
No one is perfect, and neither is this game. From time to time you or the game are going to make a mistake. Usually those mistakes are quick fixes, but ones that really hurt are mistakes or errors made with donuts.
As the premium currency in the game errors that occur with donuts can not only cost you time but real world cash as well!
Here’s a way that you can prevent those “D’oh” moments in your game.
There’s a setting in the game now that sends a prompt to you for confirmation that you really want to make that donut purchase. Setting the Confirm Donut Spend button can really save you a lot of time and aggravation (not to mention cash!) when playing the game.
Update: The menus have been changed with the launch of Halloween 2014…below is the NEW way to set your Confirm Donut Spend button.
Here’s how you do it:
-From your Krustyland or Springfield Screen tap the Build Menu Button
-When the store opens, tap the cog wheel in the top right corner:
-Change the Confirm Donut Spend option to “Yes” and Close out of it:
Now every time you make a donut purchase it will prompt you if you’re sure.
Note: If you play across multiple devices you have to change this setting on each device, not just the account.

You may be asking ‘What are donuts?’…well they’re sprinkly, frosted, round, fried deliciousness mmm donuts. Oh wait I’m sure you knew that already, you probably want to know what they are in the game.
Well, donuts are the premium currency for TSTO. Using donuts will unlock a whole different way to play the game and they can be used to speed up tasks and purchase premium content. And unlike real life you can have all the donuts you want without worry about your waist size
