Showoff Your Springfield (Sign Ups and other info)

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

I know it’s been a little while since I’ve been back with some info since our last couple of live shows/podcasts. I apologize. My life is truly insane, I’m working on it…

Right now I’m in the midst of the largest fundraiser at the kid’s school, in which I am the chairperson (I clearly do not know how to say no to things)…so I’m just trying to get through that. It’s on October 26th, and it’s a massive Tricky Tray/basket raffle for those curious…and yes I will still happily accept donations (especially if you have a business, it’s a great way to advertise) if you’re willing to give 😉. Once I’m through that it should free up a TON of my time, and I can get back to doing more regular Addicts Live Shows.

In preparation for getting back into more regular Addicts Live Shows, I wanted to start planning out the Showoffs we talked about doing. I’ve got two options for Showoffs we’d like to do….

1. Whole town Showoff during one of our Live Shows. Where you’ll have as many of the Addicts crew as I can get onboard looking over and commenting about your town live! We’ll do this over our Live Show on YouTube, and we’ll try to do as many as we can.

2. Our Traditional Showoff. Where we pick a theme/area and you submit photos of your town in those themes/areas and we’ll do a post with those screenshots.

If you want to submit your WHOLE TOWN for one of the Live Showoffs, please fill out this Google Form Below:
We can’t promise we’ll get to everyone, but we’ll do our best to get to as many as humanly possible in the time we have between now and the game being pulled from the servers.

For the Traditional Showoff, stay tuned for posts directly related to that….BUT I want some of your ideas on what areas you’d like to showoff/have seen. So submit those ideas for Showoffs in the comments below..

Also, as an aside…for those of you thinking about turning your town into a puzzle. Walgreens (here in the US) has this option. You can turn a photo into a 10×14 252piece puzzle for only $34.99…and there’s usually discount codes available to get it even less. Here’s the link for those of you interested. (I make absolutely nothing off of this, just trying to help those of you looking for options to preserve your town)

(I am going to see if I can bring back the Addicts Merch once this Tricky Tray is over…just need to find the right way to do it. For those of you that want to preserve a piece of TSTO History…)

Welcome back to another meeting of TSTO Anonymous. Courtesy of some TSTO downtime and an unexpected burst of motivation, I’m actually starting to hold meetings more frequently. You can find all of them here. While I can’t promise to always be so frequent holding these, when we don’t have a “meeting” you can always pop in to the popular Sunday Open Threads as fill-in sessions when I can’t think of topics or life/game stuff is too busy to hold one. Jebus knows you Addicts like to congregate there and chat about all sorts of stuff. Anyhoo… it’s time to fire up the simulated coffee pot, prop the door open with a lucky red hat, and get this meeting started. Pull up a chair, grab a Wookiee cookie, and let’s get this show on the road.

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Well I’ve given Bunny the weekend off, she was bouncing off the walls in the basement I figured a little fresh air would do! So because Bunny’s got the weekend off that means….I’ve got Showoff this week!

So now just a quick reminder about this weeks’ Showoff. We want to see your Stonecutter Stuff! Show us your Lodge, Daycare, Slide, Abandoned Store etc….show me how you put it all together!

Show me what you’ve done! Send your Stonecutter area to us by 3pm EST tomorrow 6/14…you can see how to send us your stuff below.

Springfield Showoff- Show Me…Level 38!

As we sit here frakkin files, pulling pics, and typing a million words a minute to get our readers the latest updates and information…we find ourselves sometimes forgetting to stop and enjoy our own games. More so our neighboreenos. So we try to make it a point to hop in n out of the towns now and then to see what cool things YOU are up to.

So we have decided we want to continue to focus more attention (as if we don’t already 😛 ) on YOU…our readers. Time to time we will be peaking into your towns, checking our Flickr, and also the posts in the comments below to see what cool ideas and designs YOU have come up with to make your towns unique and…well…YOU.

So here is YOUR chance to show off all your hard work, time, donuts & in game cash spent. Send us your work, no matter how big or small. Brag about it to the world. We want you to. Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Back with another edition of Tapped Out on Christmas! I’ve been noticing more and more in the comments many tappers asking what’s next? You’ve completed the Gift Card prizes (although if you haven’t…don’t panic you still have plenty of time…until next Tuesday (the 14th) to be exact), won all of the wheel prizes (again if you haven’t don’t panic…or feel one of the F words…you still have plenty of time) and you have no clue what to do until the next update.

And now we’ve gotten word that the Christmas Event has been EXTENDED another week! What’s an Addicted Tapper to do?

Should you still be tapping Neighbor-eeno’s houses with Gift Cards? Should you still be dropping gift bags? Should you still be tapping your own presents?
