Showoff Reminder: Forgotten Krustyland

Hey Hoppereenos. Just bouncing on in here to remind you about the upcoming Springfield Showoff for this week.

I want to see what YOU have done in that sad sad lil Amusement Park that we seem to have forgotten about. Krustyland. How are you decorating it? Do you even go there anymore? Did you add some of those Valentine Day decorations there? I want to see what YOU did to it.

Springfield Showoff- Nice Hedges

As we sit here frakkin files, pulling pics, and typing a million words a minute to get our readers the latest updates and information…we find ourselves sometimes forgetting to stop and enjoy our own games. More so our neighboreenos. So we try to make it a point to hop in n out of the towns now and then to see what cool things YOU are up to.

So we have decided we want to continue to focus more attention (as if we don’t already 😛 ) on YOU…our readers. Time to time we will be peaking into your towns, checking our Flickr, and also the posts in the comments below to see what cool ideas and designs YOU have come up with to make your towns unique and…well…YOU.

So here is YOUR chance to show off all your hard work, time, donuts & in game cash spent. Send us your work, no matter how big or small. Brag about it to the world. We want you to. It’s 2D Tuesday here at Addicts and it’s my turn to show you one of my creations. Back in mid-December, I was in a bit of an artistic funk with all the snow messing up the decorations I liked to use for my art. Courtesy of my friend Joodah and her beautiful work, I decided I needed to put on my big Wookiee pants and soldier on with my art. A Fatty New Year 2D

So here we are at the end of 2013. So much has happened and changed in my life in this 12 month span. I really look forward to see what the next 12 months have in store for me. It could get interesting.

I know it has been a while since I have done a 2D. Sorry about that. Been busy hopping all over the country from one side to another. My poor 2D creativity was just ITCHING to come out and play.

Now is the winter of my 2D discontent

Ok… I know it is completely melodramatic to misquote Shakespeare to make my point, but it seemed like a great segway into today’s 2D Tuesday post.

Winter has come to Springfield. With the vast blanket of white and programming tweaks to decorations came some changes for all the tappers who like to creat art in their towns. Just check out what Old Man Winter did to Bunny’s Werewolf Flanders if you need proof.
