Wookiee showing up in the middle of this Stonecutter amazingness just for some 2D fun. One of the things Bunny and I love to do on this site is make art out of the random decorations EA has given us in this lovely game. In addition, I get the chance to watch and re-watch and (you get the idea) episodes of the Best. Show. Ever. and every once in a while, 2D shows up in episodes also. Back with another edition of Tapped Out on Christmas! I’ve been noticing more and more in the comments many tappers asking what’s next? You’ve completed the Gift Card prizes (although if you haven’t…don’t panic you still have plenty of time…until next Tuesday (the 14th) to be exact), won all of the wheel prizes (again if you haven’t don’t panic…or feel one of the F words…you still have plenty of time) and you have no clue what to do until the next update.
And now we’ve gotten word that the Christmas Event has been EXTENDED another week!What’s an Addicted Tapper to do?
Should you still be tapping Neighbor-eeno’s houses with Gift Cards? Should you still be dropping gift bags? Should you still be tapping your own presents? Well over the next couple of days we’re going to take a look at things you can do to prevent yourself from becoming Tapped Out on Christmas and still keep your head in the game.

In case you’ve been living under a rock…or nuclear waste…for the last few weeks here at Addicts we’ve been hosting a Spooky 2D Contest where the winners receive free DONUTS (in the form of gift cards)! You can find out all of the details here And the time has come to announce the top 5 and winners of $0.99 gift cards (woohoo premium scratchers)!
First, we’d like to say thank you to EVERYONE who submitted a 2D design. Your designs were AMAZING and we know for many of you it was your first attempt at a 2D design. So great work everyone!
We’d also like to say that just because you’re not mentioned in the top 5 doesn’t mean you’re out of it completely! Don’t forget we still have Category prizes to award! The Category winners will be announced when we announce the grand prize winner on October 15th!

Happy Weekend Everyone! As always it’s been a busy week here at Addicts & if you’ve missed any of the great posts this week, here’s your chance to catch up!

-On Monday we had our weekly poll question, asking you if Patty and Selma were worth the wait. Well the results are in and almost 50% of you said you have no real opinion you just love Tapped Out! In second place was Yes! It was exactly what you wanted & in 3rd place was Yes! Nothing like you expected but you love it anyway. You can check out the full poll results here
-Bunny was a busy 2D artist this week when she announced the winners of her Sideshow Bob challenge. She also reveled the 2D prize she created for Mags here
-Wookiee also had his amazing 2D talents on display this week with another 2D How To, this time it broke down El Barto for aspiring 2D Artists. He also reveled his 2D created for Laura Mac, who won his 2D Challenge from last week. You can check out Wookiee’s Yoda here

What a week’s it’s been at Addicts! Lots of big things happened around here this past week, and in case you missed anything from the Addicts team this past week, here’s your chance to catch up!
-Just as many tappers were concluding the Level 34 quests, and watching Super-Nintendo Chamlers catch some DINNNEERRRR!!!!, Level 35 was released! Included in the new update were the highly desired Patty and Selma Bouvier, Selma’s beloved Jub-Jub, the Spinster City Apartments, Springfield Pet Shop, and the one and only Disco Stu & Stu’s Disco!
-When Level 35 hit the Addicts team had it covered! Wookiee helped us all figure out What in the world a Jub-Jub is! As well as breaking down Gil Gunderson and his Level Up! Message, in The. Best. GIL Deal. Ever! The one and only Bunny Dud broke down Disco Stu and his connection to Patty & Selma in her post Disco Who??!!
-Level 35 Walkthroughs have been posted! You can check out the Level 35 Main Quest Part 1 and Part 2 here, or you can visit the Walkthroughs page for complete Tapped Out Walkthrough guides! Part 3, the final part, will be coming later today!
-With all new levels comes new premium items. This week we broke down if Disco Stu & Jub-Jub are worth your donuts!
Of course this week hasn’t just been all about Level 35 here at Addicts. We’ve been busy little Tappers this week and brought you so many other great posts as well…..
-On Monday we asked you what do you think will be coming first, the Halloween event or Level 34. Well 61.25% of you got it right in saying Level 35! (For the record 61.25% said Level 35, 18.8% said Level 35 & Halloween Event as 1 update, 11.28% said something else & bringing up the rear only 8.27% of you thought the Halloween Event would come first. Thanks for voting!).
-On September 11th the Addicts Remembered September 11th, 2001 and gave a special thanks to all of our brave service men and woman fighting around the world.
-Halloween was another hot topic this week! Both Wookiee and Bunnydud showed us their Halloween 2D creations, Wookiee posted about Snorky the killer dolphin & Bunnydud posted about her Nightmare Before Christmas creation!
-Speaking of crazy….the Addicts went a little crazy this week as well with our Spooky 2D Contest! We’re giving away up to $45 in FREE DONUTS!!! (in the form of iTunes/Google Play Store gift cards) To enter just create your very own Halloween themed 2D creation and post a picture on the contest post. If you haven’t read about it yet check out the picture on the sidebar to the right. This will give you all of the official rules of the contest.

It’s been just over a week now since Level 34 hit our devices. Tappers who started right away should be just about finishing up the Chalmers quest line and tappers who started the quest a little bit late might be smack dab in the middle of the Level. Either way, if you’ve been busy tapping away this week here’s your chance to catch up on what you’ve might have missed here at Addicts!
-Last weekend Wookiee helped Tappers discover the lost ride at Krustyland, Krusty’s Broken Koaster Kars. You can check out how to make Krusty’s Kars in your Krustyland here.
-This past week Wookiee and Nick took a deeper look at a couple of the new decorations level 3 brought tappers, starting with Nick’s look at the World’s Largest Zircona and it’s connection to The Simpsons. Then Wookiee took a closer look at Chalmer’s _onda, the newest car to join the Tapped Out World!
-Alissa started to break down the basics of the Conform-o-meter in your Springfield. You can find the basics here and how many points you’ll need to max out the meter here.
-EA made a couple of updates and announcements this week as well. They released a minor iOS update earlier this week and announced that all tappers should be creating a Origin ID, or risk losing your Springfield forever!
-In his “Are You Ready For Some Football” Nick made the connection between The Simpsons and football, in anticipation of the start of the NFL football season here in the US.
-Nick also took us back in time to 1999 as he uncovered the history behind Tomacco!
-Bunny Nerded out on us this week, in her Nerd Alert post, going over the finer technical details of things like Blue Stacks and Jail Breaking!
-As always there was certainly no shortage of 2D and 3D posts this week. Bunny took a look at 2D vs 3D and Wookiee announced a Wookiee’s 2D Challenge (be sure to get your designs in by Monday night!)!
It has been a week here at Addicts, full of great posts filled with humor and packed with information! Here’s to the week ahead Tappers, and here’s hoping we’ll see a Halloween Event this week!
What a week for Tapped Out! Just as many Tappers were finishing level 33, level 34 was released! With the release of levels 33 and 34 so close together (not to mention Krustyland just before level 33!) Tappers will be busy tapping away throughout the weekend.
