Tapped Out Event Walkthroughs: Premium Tap Ball Players

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Tap Ball is officially over in Springfield, but we’ve got a ton of new sporty Springfield residents in our towns!  Including several new premium options like Football Nelson, Jockey Bart, Furious D & Toreador Grampa!

While we’ve had the questlines up for each character for a while now, we thought now would be a fun time to take a look back at all the dialogue and jokes of the character questlines that popped up during Tap Ball.  Especially since many of you have been requesting this over the last few days! So if you missed any of the dialogue during the event, or you’re just curious what one of the characters had to say that you didn’t unlock…we’ve got it all here for you!

The Tap Ball Event is winding down and we thought now would be a fun time to take a look back at all the dialogue and jokes of the main questlines that popped up during Tap Ball Event (we’ll cover premium and side quests in another post…otherwise this would be the post that never ended!).  Especially since many of you have been requesting this over the last few days! The Great Donut Caper: Missing Donuts and Other Issues with Springfield Heights

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Popping in with another bug/glitch report for TSTO…this time related to the Springfield Heights update.  Because one centralized placed where you guys can report your issues and see that you’re not alone in them…is better than issues scattered all over various posts…and feeling like you’re the only one with the problem.  🙂

Before we get into it just a note, yesterday I went over some issues that were happening since Tap Ball was removed, some of these are still going on.  So if you don’t see your issue covered in this post, try checking out yesterdays crash report post to see if it’s covered there.  (You can view yesterday’s post here)

So now, let’s tackle some of the common issues we’re seeing popup since Springfield Heights hit our towns including (but not limited to): missing donuts, land errors, missing currency and more!  So let’s dive in shall we?

Springfield Heights 101: Maximizing Real Estate Points

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Springfield Heights has arrived in Springfield and finally there’s some decent expansion going on!  Loads of new stores, mansions, decorations and a ton of new land…all just beyond the mountains!

This is a fun update, designed to take a while.  So DO NOT RUSH IT!  It’s here for the long haul, and not going anywhere.  So take your time, enjoy it…don’t make yourself crazy with rushing everything, because I guarantee you you will get stuck at some point if you keep rushing.

EA has phased this expansion to have new stuff released as time moves on.  So not everything for Springfield Heights is currently available (you’ll notice this if you go to Other Springfield, you’ll see some buildings there not currently available..like the Plastic Surgery Center).  More is coming…so pace yourself and remember to have fun.  I know it’s tempting to get everything done immediately, but there’s no prize for finishing first.  Heck the quicker you finish the less you’ll have to do (since I promise you will get stuck at some point if you rush).  Remember it’s a marathon…so relax and have fun with it!

Anywho, now let’s talk about something you’re all eager to know more about…Real Estate Points!  How do you get them?  What do they do?  And how the heck can you get more of them and fast?  Well, as always we’re here for you.  So let’s break it all down, with some tips and tricks you can use to earn more!

Tap Ball 2015 and the Conform-O-Meter

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

The Tap Ball Event released a TON of new items into our Springfields.  Everything from stores and statues to stadiums and obstacle courses!  So let’s take a look at how these new and returning items impact our Conform-O-Meter…

The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and  XP from everything you collect in the game.  When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town.  If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.

While the Tap Ball event brought no changes to the Conform-O-Meter requirements, it did bring a bunch of buildings and decorations.  So let’s take a look at how all of the new “goodies” impact our rating: Continue reading →

Springfield Heights Update is Here!

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Well…looks like Springfield Heights has hit our tapping devices!

This is an in-game update, so nothing to download from the App Store (unless you didn’t remove Tap Ball yet).

As always we’ll be back with more…but for now know that Mr. Burns starts things off.

Also, it looks like you have to be at least Level 30 to start this expansion.

And from what I can see so far…the expansion looks similar to Squidport…just beyond the mountains, no new screen (like Krustyland)

Tap Ball Removal Is Live (Plus SPOILER Info About Upcoming Content)

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Sorry this is a little delayed…it was dinnertime here.  (still not a fan of these late in the day updates EA!)

Anywho…looks like the Tap Ball Removal update has hit our App Stores.  So if you’re all done with Tap Ball and would like your Springfield to go back to normal download the update.  BUT if you’d like to continue the Tap Ball fun you can put off downloading the update until it forces you to (which is usually in 24hrs).

If you choose not to update right now, remember you’re playing on borrowed time.  Once the game forces you to update (again it’s usually within 24hrs) you will be locked out of your game (ie stopping ALL Progress) until you update.  Which means if you don’t cash in your Amateur Bucks before it forces you to update, you’ll miss out.  So proceed with caution!

And now…there’s a little bit of Spoiler Info leaked on Amazon for the next upcoming event on TSTO.  Because it’s posted on Amazon, and comes directly from EA we’re going to post it on Addicts. BUT we’ll do so below the fold, so those that don’t want to know, don’t have to.  However, if you’d like to know…click below.
