Happy Easter Tappers!

Well Easter Sunday is upon us and you know what that means……time to collect the REAL Easter Eggs!  You may notice things a little quiet around here today, as the Addicts staff celebrates Easter by spending a little quality time with our families!    But don’t you worry we’ll be right back at it tomorrow!  (and of course we’ll pop in with any new developments that happen throughout the course of the day in the world of TSTO…we’re Addicts too ya know!)

You may still see us floating around in the comments but for the most part we’ll be spending the day with our families fighting over the last of the red jelly beans.  But don’t worry we’ll still have the Open Thread going today…we absolutely love what y’all have to say!

Looks like we’ve got ourselves a fun little questline from EA today.  Who doesn’t love a good Easter Egg hunt?

So here’s the deal…you solve the 3 Easter clues and find all the eggs and you’ll win FREE Donuts, who doesn’t love free donuts?!

We’ll break down the clues and steps for you below the fold…but know that things get started with Bunny 24601.  If you don’t have Bunny 24601 from last Easter you will be awarded it for free!

Showoff Reminder: Superheros

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Since the craziness of “event season” is over (you know where we have back to back to back to back events…October-now) we figured it’s the prefect time to bring back Springfield Showoff!  Where we want to see what you’ve done with your Springfield!

And since the Superheros Event just ended last week I figured now would be the perfect time to show us what you’ve done with your Superheros stuff!  We’ll be putting up the Showoff post, featuring your designs next week.  So show us what you’ve done with all that Superhero Stuff…

Happy Good Friday everyone!

So with the superhero event concluded and EA bringing us some Easter goodness, I wondered if it was time to have another meeting of TSTO Anonymous.  Are all our members bored now?  Fretting over premium options that returned?  Ready for the next event/level/tie-in?  I figured there was no place like a digital TSTO Anon meeting to just come together and discuss whatever.  Fair warning that this might just be another veiled attempt by yours truly to ramble.  Only way to find out is to just grab a cup of coffee and get started.

It’s Easter in Springfield and with the new event in town lots of items from Easter past have made their way back to the store.

As with events past EA has decided to make old items new again, and give players who might have missed out on something a second chance to get it.  Of course that second chance doesn’t come with out a price, as many of the returning items are premium.

The Easter buildings making a comeback this year are: The Blocko Store & Banana Dictatorship…Johnny Fiestas too, if you count the freemium ones.

I know many of you have been asking if these items are worth your Sprinkles. Well before you hit that confirm button…let’s break down the pros and cons and take a look and see if these buildings are worth YOUR donuts!

Should I Spend Donuts On the Easter Island God?

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Well…superheroes have come and gone and it’s Easter in Springfield!  And nothing says Easter quite like Ol’ Gil in a giant bunny suit….anyone else think he’s channeling Ralphie?

Anywho…so Ol’ Gil’s in town and just what is he offering this time?  Well…for a limited-time (ie until, Tuesday 4/7) you can purchase one of the items Gil picked up on his Polynesian travels..the Easter island God.  The Easter Island God is an all new decoration for your Springfield.

Now I’m sure you’re wondering…”is this something I should take Gil up on?  Or am I better off saving my donuts for something better?”  Well…before you hit that confirm button, let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this stone head to YOUR Springfield!

Hey Howdy Hey Egg Hunting Tappers!

It’s Easter in Springfield!  And I’ve got to say I’m pleasantly surprised that EA decided to release a Mini Easter Event in town.  Sure most of the items are reruns from last year, but not an Egg box in sight!  Plus, they’ve released a funny little questline to go with the event!

So now that we’ve got an all new questline, you know what that means right?  Time for an all new Turbo Tappin’!

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Spring is here and summer is just around the corner, can you feel it?  Yea, me either.  Could be the 30 degree weather we keep having here on the East Coast…but in any event EA’s recently introduced a new house in Springfield that might help you feel a little warmer, Radioactive Man’s Beach House!  Yes, the hotly debated/rumored/teased Beach House has finally made it’s way into Springfield…

Now I know many of you are trying to decide if this Superhero hideaway is worth YOUR donuts, but don’t sweat it!  We’re here to help you decide what’s worth the donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add Radioactive Man’s Beachhouse to YOUR Springfield?  Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this water retreat to YOUR Springfield!

It’s Easter in Springfield!

Update 9pm EDT: An update just hit…this is a patch restoring the Beach House, Bartman’s Cave & the Radstation Air Fortress for purchase.  Remember you’ll have until April 7th to purchase these items…

Update 7pm EDT: If you’re just downloading both the App Store update and the Easter Update at the same time the Easter update will start up first.  However, get past the initial dialogue with Ned & Homer first and then get past the Gil Dialogue and the Mystery Box questline should start up.  However, now Mr. Burns MUST be free to trigger it.  It will no longer auto start.  So make sure Mr. B is free and you should see the ! to start it.

Update: It appears this update has pulled the ability to purchase the Beach House…it’s not listed in the store.  It should be there.  Will contact EA once I leave work to see what’s going on with it.
Also, a report from a lovely Tapper, AnothrAddict, Brandine’s quest with Valentine’s Day has been skipped over.  Here’s their comment: “Heads up For those who didn’t complete the st paddys quest b/c of brandine….it skipped over her today and moved on to part 7. Yay I was waiting to end of event before I sped her birth (so weird to say) so now I can spend doughnuts on new mystery box and/or Easter stuff.” I have no way to verify this myself so if it’s working for you now please let us know.

As a special update inside an update today….EASTER HAS HIT OUR GAMES!  Ok well a mini Easter Event anyway.
