So…BOOM! Right on schedule, as if they don’t have a clue what’s going on in the world, another TSTO “event” has shown up. Same format. Mostly the same math. With some funny dialogue. OK. So what’s new? (Don’t ask…and don’t watch the news!).
But…as I am still “loyal to the cause,” I spent a few hours cobbling this together for all of you!

Let’s remind ourselves that Alissa has placed a moratorium upon complaining about this event. I get it. She loves Christmas, and is going to be upbeat and happy about anything we get for the holidays.
That said, I honestly have to admit that there isn’t much to complain about here…so it makes the job pretty easy.
This event is LOADED with prizes. There is simply no denying that.

Well…well…well…
So a little taunting (OK…a LOT!), and the fact that the writers had to “face the public” with their big E3 panel on Simpsons related games…and we FINALLY got a REAL Event! At some point it stops being a coincidence…and just a result.
I know many of you are complaining about the multi-event format. But, let’s face it…many of you complain about just about everything…and yet, continue to play. Go figure.
For the rest of you, I am happy to be doing a CALENDAR again…as it implies that there is actually an event that warrants the hours of work that go into it.

Well…frankly, when I look at all of the teasers, and all of the content that is coming with this event, I have to ask one question, “What’s Not To Love???”
It started off with a tool that we have been asking for since…well…since TSTO came into our world! The Full Town Photo tool…is just perfect (as long as you have the memory to make it work). I do. I love it. I’ll talk more about it in the Friday Filler.
But, what you all came here for, is the Calendar. And the fact is, because I love this event, and love you guys, and pretty much am just loving life right now, I went out of my way to go ahead and create a HUGE Gregorian style Full Event Calendar, so you can stay on track, and Get It ALL!

I know, I know…I’m supposed to be a “Kinder, Gentler, Less-Cranky-OldGuy.” But, HOLYFREAKINSHIRT these events are loooooooooong… tooooooooo looooooooong!
See what I did there? I just held down the “O” key and let the computer do the work of filling up space. Kind of like the EA programmers did for this last Act…which literally had almost the same prizes…falling on the same days…with minor alterations. Talk about EALPish behavior!
But…if I am really honest, I have to give a salute (and not the one-finger kind) to the programmer/animator who is making all of these “Spy-worthy” decorations. I think the characters are kinda, “meh”…but the buildings and decorations simply crack me up. I actually Laugh Out Loud at some of them. They are clever, well designed, and because they are clustered in my “Homage to Langley” section of my Springfield…I can tap a bunch of them and watch them all go nuts. It is hilarious.
So….yes….this last act is even EAsier (sorry…now that someone complained, I’m gonna do it forever), and everyone should get everything by simply logging in 3-4 times a day.
