More Community Prize Changes

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Community Prize numbers have once again been adjusted!  So everyone can stop panicking now!  As many seasoned players suspected (and we’ve all tried to tell those that were panicking..) EA has made adjustments to the Community Prize goals, and now they are completely obtainable (and quickly too!)

Springfield Arms now requires 12,917,280 ico_june2015_soccerball_lg so we should be unlocking it very soon!

ico_june2015_soccerball_lg still cost 40 Amateur Bucks…and you should be unlocking 5 as part of today’s Daily Training.  So keep sending those balls!

Update: It looks like the rest of the prizes have been adjusted as well…with the highest prize now costing just over 25,000,000 ico_june2015_soccerball_lg.  So keep sending and we’ll get them all soon!

Turbo Tappin’ Tap Ball: Jockey Bart and Furious D

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Tap Ball is sweeping the streets of our Springfields and during this second Act of the event a few new characters get into it and actually play Tap Ball!  Two new characters for Tap Ball have been added to our stores via the Premium Menu, Jockey Bart and Furious D.

While they are two characters, they come with 1 questline (joint), a little something to keep you busy tapping while you’re waiting to play your next Tap Ball match!  So let’s take a look at the quick walkthrough for Jockey Bart and Furious D….

Turbo Tappin’ Tap Ball: Act 3

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Here we are in Act 3 of Tap Ball!  Seems like just yesterday we were making our way through Act 2 collecting those hats and now here we are smack dab into Act 3 and collecting pennants.  Oh wait.  That was yesterday!

Anyway we’re in the final Act of our fun little summer sporting event..and with a new Act rolled out that of course means a new questline!  The Act 3 questline is similar to the act 2 questline…in that it’s short.  Very short!   But nevertheless let’s still breakdown Turbo Tappin’ walkthrough for Act 3…tapballturbotap

Tap Ball Prize Guide: Act 2, Prize 5 Tennis Marge

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Are you ready for some Tap Ball!? Tap Ball is the newest sensation sweeping the streets of Springfield.  A game invented by our very own Homer J Simpson!  In the Second “Act” of the Tap Ball Event (funny they’re called Acts, really they should be called Periods like Hockey.  Oh EA, I thought you knew sports 😉 ) you’ll unlock Tennis Marge, FIT Milhouse, unlock Community Challenges and continue to challenge your friends and neighbors to some friendly Tap Ball competitions!

This Event is broken up into 3 Acts (again, should be called Periods EA…), with each Act containing part of the story.  To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act.  Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event.  For the Second Act you’re tasked with collecting Hats (ico_june2015_hats_01) to unlock each prize!  The Final Act 2 prize awarded at 30,000 ico_june2015_hats_01 is Tennis Marge, a new skin for Marge so she can FINALLY get involved in an event!

For this post we’re going to combine the second and fourth prize…why?  Because they’re basically the same prize, just designed a bit different.  So they fit nicely together in one post 🙂 Sooo…

The Second Act 2 prize awarded at 11,900 ico_june2015_hats_01 is the Obstacle Wire. 2015-07-06 21.27.57

And the Fourth Act 2 Prize awarded at 23,800 ico_june2015_hats_01 is the Obstacle Log. 2015-07-06 22.09.10

Tap Ball Community Prize Changes

IMPORTANT: I don’t know how I missed this initially…but the price of the sports balls has been GREATLY reduced.  They’re now down to 40 ico_june2015_amateurbucks_md so now there’s really no reason why you shouldn’t be participating…at least a little bit…in the Community Prizes..

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Just like long time Tappers thought (and I mentioned yesterday in the Community Prize Post)…EA has made some changes to the Community Prizes!

The first prize of 10 Donuts, which initially required 110,800,000, has been dropped to 3,266,000!

We’ve also got another prize that’s been added…1,000 Amateur Bucks.

I’ve got to do some digging to see what/if the rest of the prize amounts have been dropped, as soon as I have the info pulled I’ll update this post.

Update: The chance for the Sports Ball to drop one for you to actually get in your town has increased from 20% to 68%.  So now the odds of one of the balls in your town adding to your account to drop again are now up to 68%

Until then…for all those that doubted, keep in mind when we say these things have a way of working themselves out…it’s from experience that we know.
