As often happens here on Kashyyyk, this Wookiee is wide awake in the wee hours of the morning. No complaints though dear readers, a little known fact is that I’m often at my most productive while the ravenous beasts and carniverous plants of the Shadowlands do their nasty business. Safely tucked away in my wroshyr tree, I decided it might be time for another random, yet hopefully poignant post.
In the Addicts Locker Room (keep it PG people), we often joke that it is the evil clown bed from Season 4, Episode 10 (Lisa’s First Word), that contributes to our insomnia. I myself don’t have coulrophobia and actually quite enjoy scary clowns, but this particular pesky fella bothers me at least once a week. I guess I can’t be too mad at him though as he did inspire one of my all-time favorite Alice Cooper songs on their Dragontown Album. Hopefully you can guess the title of the song (see post’s title if not).
Alright, rambling done I think. While I type away with my mind thinking of all sorts of random things, I seem to fixate more and more about the upcoming Halloween event for The Simpsons Tapped Out.
It really has been a huge topic lately on all the TSTO blogs and you might be thinking everything that could be said about it has already been said once or twice. Well, you might be right, but I hope you’re wrong because I still have some talking (typing) to do lol.
To start off… I’d like to share something I found on YouTube yesterday. It’s a pretty dope video done by an amazing audiovisually savvy fellow named Pablo. You can see more of his stuff at www.whoispablo.com. He mashed together The Simpsons and Futurama in a Halloween episode and I like this so much, I’m a little bummed it doesn’t exist IRL.

Moving on… I know we are all expecting an update this Thursday and although I wish it was gonna be for Halloween, my bet is on a Season 25, Episode 1 tie-in. Nick did a great post on this which you can find here.
So………… when do we get Halloween? Last year, tappers got this awesome event on 3 October. Well, guess what day the 3rd is this year? That’s right, a Thursday which just happens to be EA’s favorite update day!!!

How can it get better than Professor Frink’s dad who died by shark bite, frozen and then reanimated by his son only to go rampaging through Springfield, stealing body parts to improve himself and then foiled with a kick to the crotch at the Nobel Prize Award Ceremony? (Wow… that was a run-on but I was excited.)

How’s your excitement now? Wow…. Tough audience… How about the return of Witch Marge? Last Halloween, the only decoration I did not get was that blasted cauldron. Imagine my chagrin when I realized it came with a skin for Marge. Well, I had an epiphany this morning that with EA bringing us Patty and Selma, maybe they plan on bringing back the cauldron? I really hope I’m right!
What about Maggie? This would be perfect if EA does bring us Kang and Kodos this year!
Well, I hope this has either sparked some excitement about the update or maybe even added to some you already had. One thing I do know, if this video doesn’t excite you… nothing will.
Well, I’m all out of ideas and it seems like the clown has disappeared. Artoo… set course for dream land.
