Should I Spend Donuts on the Freakmobile

With all of the Halloween premium items that are limited-time it may be overwhelming trying to decide which items to buy and what to pass on. With that limited-time label on items I know it can be tempting to just buy everything you can. But, have no fear! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth your donuts & what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add the Freakmobile to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button, let’s break down the Pros and Cons of adding this store to your Springfield.

For our last but certainly not least Halloween donut Premium item, we will let our TSTO Addicts Forum Moderator Poisonshift put in his two cents. 🙂

Donut Price: 35 Donuts
Unique?: No

-0.75% bonus money and XP to all Jobs.
-Since this item is not unique you can place several of them and reap the multiplier benefits!
-Another car!!! Well, that alone spells it.
-Limited-Time decoration.

-After Halloween is over, this very creepy looking car wont mesh well with modern civilization, even in Springfield.
-Fairly expensive for only a quarter percent increase to your overall net.

Final Thought:
If you’re saving your donuts for something, save them for something else unless you’re a completest or you want more cars in your parking lot. If you want to put it somewhere when the event is over I would suggest near Frink’s Lab if you have it. And think of it as the Frinkmobile, he’s always got strange things going on over there and it could go well with a lab compound setup if you have one like I do. Honestly, I think this would be the last thing you would want to buy for the Limited Time Halloween event.

  1. I have the freakmobile and when I tap it to generate the zombies they show up
but if I don’t tap them right away and tap anything else they just are gone no where to be found

  2. Didn’t think to post this comment here, so will repost so that readers can find it quickly.
Should you buy the Freakmobile in order to earn more Wailing Walls?
We have a little over 20 days before the event ends but there is usually a small grace period, so say 21 days x 24 zombies, what it generates per day = 504 zombies or 2 wailing walls. Since the freakmobile costs 60 donuts, you are in effect paying 30 donuts per wall, a good price compared to the standard of 45 donuts per wall (based on the standard base rate of 2% per 40 donuts). If you are having trouble crafting, this could be an option. If you buy a premium character, it (except the twins) will generate 1 nightmare of your choice per hour (in 4 hour shifts). Since most people sleep for more than four hours per night, an outside figure of 20 nightmares per day is a reasonable maximum. After the event, the Freakmobile should yield a 0.75% bonus, a premium character a minimum of 1000 dollars per day. Off the top of my head, if the average property yields 500 dollars per day, the average freemium character 600 dollars, and the average premium character 1000 dollars, let’s settle on an average value of 600 dollars per day for all of these. 0.75% of that is 4.5 dollars. 4.5 goes into 1000 dollars (the min. income value for a premium child) 222 times. In other words, in order for the 0.75% bonus to match the income generated by the premium child, one needs 222 properties. I have at least that many buildings at level 58 plus over 111 characters, which would cover the 500 dollar daily property value of a premium child/building combo. Therefore, at level 58, the Freakmobile should yield a slightly better income than a character/building combo both during the event and after.

    • Wow! This is a very underrated 2yr old comment!

      Have you met Safi? 😀

Seriously, nice job taking all that computation on! Although the event-specific info doesn’t apply anymore, the rest is still interesting. I’d be interested in seeing breakdowns like this with some other items!
