Level 39 is finally here! (and comes with TWO FREE DONUTS) Working through it right now (thank goodness I have my tab since my phone says it’s full!) and as soon as we have the details we’ll post them right here (as always)!
Remember this is an in App update so no need to hit the app store! If your update doesn’t start right away…if you’re at Level 38, Level 39 should automatically hit….try the usual troubleshoot methods (hard close, reopen app, restart your device) that should help trigger it.
Dolph kicks off this update, so make sure this bully is free! (yes he must be free. It’s not an auto-start)
Also remember…as with all new updates…your Confirm Donut Spend Button may have been reset. Meaning it’s turned off. So check it out and make sure it’s switched to on…unless you want to end up with 2 Whales…. 😉
As always for those who like to be surprised we’ll reveal the details after the fold….so what follows are SPOILERS Looks like this update has a few goodies for us, including a few for our lonely friend Apu! First task you’ll be greeted with in Level 39 is to build Sanjay’s house! It costs $438,000 (FINALLY a use for all that money I’ve been building up since Level 38!) and takes 24hrs to build. (6×12 in size) 
This will also unlock Sanjay! 
So Sanjay is the freemium in this game…any guesses on who the premium character would be?
Of course it’s Manjula! (Ahhh some more woman in Springfield again!) Manjula is unlocked with Apu’s Apartment. Of course a sought after character/building combo will have a hefty price tag no doubt….this one will run you 160 donuts.
Apu’s Apartment is 10×6 in size, and will earn you $500, 45xp every 24hrs (and like most premium builds it takes 6 seconds)
And of course this also unlocks Manjula!
New Premium decoration:
Shiva Statue – 40 donuts, 2% bonus on all cash and xp, 2 x 2 in size.
So what else is new in Level 39?? Oh nothing really…just a new FRINK POINT PRIZE! (ok ok I know they’re called Friend Points)
So now there’s a sweet prize at the end of Level 6…so those FP’s will turn back on for vandalized buildings in your town. The Level 6 Friendship prize is the E.A.R.L Lighthouse!
You can unlock the Lighthouse for 500 donuts OR earn FP’s to unlock it. Here’s the deal tho. I don’t know if my game is glitching or not but it’s not showing how many FP’s it takes to unlock. So I checked into the files and they’re showing 5,000FP’s to unlock E.A.R.L, with a rush rate of 10 points per donut. (so 5000 points left =500 donuts, 4000 points left =400 donuts, etc)
Hmmm what else did Level 39 bring??? Let’s take a look in KRUSTYLAND!!

I made my way through the slow uphill battle of tapping my neighbors getting just the 1 point per tap…at the end, I had just 3 taps left. Upon getting back to my Springfield, it reset to the new day…now my taps are worth 10 and so on, but now no one to tap… 🙂
I think (!) that it is worth stopping once you get to one FP for each action? If you stop after visiting 40 friends you will have earned 630 points ….do a few more say another 10 friends and you will have another 30 points and another 50 friends ready to visit the next day!
I have only just learnt that by paint-spraying a building each time also earns your friend another point!
Still pruning some farming friends in an attempt to have 100 beautiful neighbours!

I started out visiting 33 towns in the morning, noon, and after supper…that worked great until EA decided our list should be alphabetized… those arrows they threw up there in the corner are worthless to me since my list is totally scrambled now…further more, I wish they’d give us a friend counter…I end up counting my friends about every other day…I have 98 friends but EA won’t let me have my 99th…
I don’t mind the farmers…I was and sorta still am one but I deleted my 80 or so brown houses(had them circling my town like a wall) to pretty up the place before having someone special over to visit…I hope they stay awhile longer…I did swap those brown houses for about 20 white houses and I also have 25 or 30 blue houses…
Honestly, if it weren’t for this site I probably would have quit the game already…I’m a diehard freemium player and sometimes I’m disgusted with the price of the premium stuff…EA stepped up though and they have given us alot lately…wonder if it was something I said… 🙂
This is probably way late but I don’t feel like researchin but when the squid port tiles becomes 3 days is that the last one you can build or r there multiple tiles that takes that long to build I really like the xp I get from them
Tiles 91-120 take 3 days, tiles 121-150 take 3 and 1/2 days to build…and that’s the longest. 🙂

I understand the erratic hours thing because of work. I’m having a hard time right now because of being off from work for almost a month. I got so used to my body clock (night person), then went back to reality (morning work). I could work later hours, but dislike the conditions later in the day. Oh well, there are worse things 🙂

You got me there, Freak, what do you mean by “paintable”? I do my best to tap the highest paying (if I can’t vandalize), and never do the farm unless I’m reviving, **only** do browns, kmarts, kburg,, etc, if there **isn’t** anything else to tap.

LOL… I forgot we can use HTML, usually use arrows/brackets instead of caps, so it doesn’t look like I’m yelling.
I guess I’m the only one here that says “paintables”…it means the four buildings that have a spray can floating above them…we each have the potential for 300 extra FP a day from friends tapping them…of course the likelihood of getting that many is slim but if you check your town as often as I, and you can get your friends to paint you, then your prize will come quicker…as for the star rating, 15 training walls apparently stops any harm or makes it minuscule. It is quiet…for I have no life…lol

Haven’t seen anything about where we are going to be able to place the lighthouse. Just curious.
Lighthouse can be placed in the water only. It comes with it’s own little island…and looks really cool! Also when you tap it it lights up 🙂 we’ll have a post up on it during the week (weekends we try to keep light and fun 🙂 )

Please can someone help, level 39 started, the task to build Sanjay’s house is in the task bar but it’s locked, and my game is now showing as level 38 again, does anyone have any ideas? Thanks
No worries. Sounds like the standard “Rollback” glitch. Usually a simple log out, restart device, log back in will resolve it. Let us know if that helps. 😉
Nope still not working, Sanjay’s house is still locked and I’m still showing as level 38 🙁
Next step is a lil more. Uninstall and reinstall the app itself. Just restart after uninstall to ensure all information is removed. If that does not work, Contacting EA would be your next step. Sorry.

Have you try to unstall and reinstall you game
Not sure if anyone else has this problem or not but my friend points say max. When I go to friends Springfields I recieve FP but it doesn’t add to my meter.
It is a known issue happening to everyone. They are still adding. Just gotta look up in the center for the lil mini FP tracker. Especially after tapping on vandalism.

It’s a common glitch that’s been happening with the update, the points still accumulate they just don’t show on that one bar. However, they’ve released a Hot Fix that should have fixed this. You can check out Bunny’s post on it here. If the hot fix update didn’t hit your game (it arrived earlier this evening) try the usual basic troubleshooting steps to see if it “kick starts it” (hard close the app and start it back up, if that doesn’t work restart your device). If the basic methods don’t work try uninstalling and reinstalling TSTO (only if you use an Origin ID) 🙂
It happens before the today’s update. It should be showing FP points again before you reaches the new level.

The characters are not layering properly with the surroundings. So far, the only option I have found to try and resolve this is to use a separate device and play your game. So if you are playing on an Android, use an iPod or Apple Product. If you are using an Apple product, try using an Android instead.
Not going to help me only have a phone to play on, do think it will be fixed?

Yah, it is a glitch. It is gone now in my B game and no longer on her task list. I still have it in my A game. It is a part of the quest line with Apu and Sanjay (Part 11 & 13). It is odd how these glitch fixes work. I was hoping the update cleared it out, but it looks like it is still lingering here and there.

I can’t see my FP either. I’ve reinstalled game because it said I didn’t have enough memory (had same problem last update too) and I’ve logged out and in etc. I’m assuming this glitch will be fixed soon.
I had to uninstall and reinstall my game too to get it to download. Even though I have a 32GB SD card. Lol.
The FP do not show, but no worries…they still collect. Just try vandalizing, it shows then. You can see your lil bar at the top load up with more FP.

So I’ve got the update, sitting at level 39 currently. Dolph is free, but sanjay quest still isn’t happening? Any ideas? Have opened and closed, have almost all my characters available and still nothing 🙁 BTW I love the taco truck 🙂
Try storing the Arcade into your inventory and pull Dolph out of the game, log out, restart. log back in, put the Arcade back…see if that triggers Dolph’s dialog to start. Let me know. 🙂

Love the new level and yey for Apu his wife and a house, but why is there sooooooo many items that you need donuts for, at only a few measly donuts per level up and not spending actual money to play this fantastic free game, a lot of fans of this game loose out on a lot, the makers of this game need to consider the ones who play every day for the fun of it and don’t buy and haven’t cheated to get extra donuts, sorry rant over
Lol. No worries. It is a Freemium game and I am appreciative we DON’T have ads creeping in every 5 mins like a lot of other Freemium games out there. I guess this is there way of “paying the bills”. Lol 😉
i think it’s a bit unfair that we have to start all over again to collect FP points. I mean, EA should accumulated all the FP points gathered from right after someone unlocked stampy until today when they revealed level 6. something like an appreciation for those who always visited their neighbors.
btw, i think the free donuts in neighbor-eeno currently not working anymore. at least it happened to me…coz today i finished visiting my neighbors with zero free donuts 🙁
and one last thing i noticed from this update in my springfield is the price of springfield grocery store and noise arcade land have been reduced (thanks to EA i guess) from 261.000 to 177.000 and 132.000 to 115.000
The free donuts won’t kick back in until you finish the NEW FP Level Prize. (I am still verifying they will come back.)
As far as the pricing, this is a normal occurance. I am actually in the process of updating our Realty Guide. It will be complete shortly. You can see the top 6 Levels have multiples on the pricing. The have a base cost and are released at 3 times that base cost, then it slowly drops down as a new level arrives. (You will also see this info on a separate post that will come out later.)

What are these free donuts you are referring to?
Just before this update, if you had already collected all the first 5 prizes (Stampy the Elephant being the last at the time) you would randomly get a donut as you tapped on through your neighbors towns getting Friend Points/FPs. There is more information about that in the post below. I am not sure they will carry on again after getting the lighthouse. I am testing out that theory now.

I forgot to mention, my Frink point counter works in my springfield (when I clean vandalism), however it does not show while viewing my friends Springfields. I am guessing it will show there when I can perform tasks in other towns again.
Is anyone else only getting 1FP per action? I just did all of my friends & ea action was only 1FP. Which means it’ll take me almost 2wks to get E.A.R.L.!
No the counter didn’t reset yet. You’ll still get the same 10, 5, 4, 3 , 2, 1 scale you got last time. The difference is if you visited friends yesterday that still have time left before you can visit them again that’s the 24 hr period. Once you can tap in those towns again you’ll start the same 10, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 scale. 🙂

Must just be your game, that or everyone is busy. If all of your characters are on a task, you won’t see it. It is only when one or more is available that it pops up.
