Should I Spend Donuts On the Natural Faberge Egg?

Hey Howdy Hey Bunny Zapping Tappers!

Easter has arrived in Springfield!  But, with the new Easter premium items that are limited-time it may be overwhelming trying to decide which items to buy and what to pass on. With that limited-time label on items I know it can be tempting to just buy everything you can. But, have no fear! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth your donuts & what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add the Natural Faberge Egg to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button, let’s break down the Pros and Cons of adding this decoration to YOUR Springfield.

faberge egg
Decoration: Natural Faberge Egg
Donut Price: 100 donuts
Bonus %: 3% on all cash and XP
Conform-O-Meter: Vanity +1,000
Unique: Yes

Pros:
-Unique Easter decoration for your Springfield
-Egg is small in size, so it can easily fit anywhere in Springfield
-Adds a nice 3% bonus to all cash and xp
-Animated, when tapped the egg opens and a little bunny pops out!

Cons:
-Pricey!
-Does not unlock for purchase until AFTER you’ve completed the main 4-Day Weekend for our Sins Questline.
-Can be won by tapping/zapping bunnies…why buy what you can get for free?
-No animation/tasks associated with it.
-Adds to vanity rating, one of the easiest to max out in the game

Final Thought:
Personally,  I’m on the fence with this one.  My best advice is if you’re really itching to get this decoration…hold off until the end of the event.  See if you can win it by tapping/zapping bunnies.  Save your donuts for more important things.  If at the end of the event you haven’t won it & you still want it then go forward and make the purchase.  But don’t purchase it until the end of the event and you’re sure you won’t win it for free.
In the end it’s your call.  What you buy and what you don’t buy is your own personal choice we can only guide you on the facts and let you know what we did and what we think.  Just remember whatever you decide this is a LIMITED-TIME decoration and once it’s gone, it’s gone…so be sure to get it before the event is over if you’re thinking about it.

What are your thoughts on the Faberge Egg?  Will you be spending the donuts to add it to to YOUR Springfield?  Sound off in the comments below, we LOVE hearing from you!

UPDATE FROM BUNNY 4-24 8:10PM EST:

Addict Reader BryantCabrera asked this of the Faberge Egg…

If anyone has screenshots of it’s relative size in game, that’d help out a ton. Or perhaps add me to help me find it in my town if it is indeed there? ><

Well here you go. This is the Faberge Egg in my B town. Look REALLY close. As you can see it is TEENY TINY. (The lamp post towers over it.) About the size of the snapdragon flower actually. So place it wisely, or you may not find it again. Lol. I placed a few other items next to it too for size comparison. And  you thought the World’s Largest Zirconia was little. (The Zirconia is on the left, roped off.)

UPDATE BUNNY 4-27-14:

Mine happened so fast I missed it, but for everyone else…this is what the Faberge’ Egg looks like when you get it while tapping. It’s same size as the rest of the eggs so if behind some, you may have missed it. Double check your inventory ( lil brown cardboard box ) and make sure you don’t have it already after completing the final quest. Thanks Kyle for the pic. LOVE our readers! 🙂

  1. What does it mean when the odds are 99.3% of winning this egg and I still haven’t won it after zapping a coocoo amount of bunnies…. 🙁

    • When we look in the files there are specific numbers in the “chances” areas. Similar to the same in the Multiplier ratios.

The multiplier ratio shows as .03 for this item, which translates into 3%.

The chances or odds for this show as .993, which if uses the same translation equals to 99.3%. Again as we stated, that is if there was not a glitch issue or if EA didn’t code it differently. Only EA can explain that one. Many got the Faberge right away after completing the questline. Some did not. Why, we do not know. The dialog within the quest stated that it would be random. Outside of the coding and dialog, we go also by what we see as results. For the most part, I saw a lot that did get it without paying.

  2. Just zapped me a Faberge

  3. i got lucky…the first bunny i tap after gotten the quest gave the faberge egg

  4. SERIOUSLY!! So, all I had to do after 10 days is whine a little! And I try to teach my girls that whining doesn’t work. What kind of magic are you brewing here… I went back to tapping and got the egg on about bunny 5. Holding onto hope that there is enough time to get the prizes. Thanks for listening! Glad you are better, by the way. Flu had me down this weekend, too.
