Easter and the Conform-O-Meter

Update April 2015: The Easter Event for 2015 added one new item to our games, the rest were returning from Easter 2014.  The Easter Island God was the one item added for 2015, and to check out how it impacts the Conform-O-Meter check out the details post on it here.

For the remaining items check out the details below from last year’s event…

Well Bunnies have invaded Springfield and you know what that means…it’s wabbit hunting time!  With all of the new items (and there are a TON of new items) added to Tapped Out I thought now would be a good time to take a look at how all of these items impact the Conform-O-Meter ratings.

The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and  XP from everything you collect in the game.  When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town.  If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.

While the Easter event brought no changes to the Conform-O-Meter requirements, level 39 did though, it did bring us a ton of new items to add to our Springfield.  Let’s take a look at how all of the new “goodies” impact our rating:

Johnny Fiestas Won Gluttony 10
Banana Dictatorship Won Obedience 10
Blocko Store Won Consumerism 10

So there you have it my friends!  The complete rundown of how all of the new Easter Goodies impact the conform-o-meter.  Lots of new decorations to improve your vanity rating…but it’s always great to get new buildings that impact consumerism too!

  1. Almost forgot… does the fallout garbage count against your “4,500” count of items?

  2. Wow, I’m liking the Faberge Egg 1,000, that helps a lot since I’ve pretty much maxed out my numbers on dec’s & bldgs. I’ve been expanding & storing, but don’t want to lose my 5 star. I’ve not seen it mentioned in what I’ve read, but is there a max on storage? Can anything be stored, or are there items that can’t be? (other than the obvious where it is attached to a character). I’d like to store some of my housing since I know the apartments that I’ve acquired are worth more points.

  3. If i win one more pond i may have to hurt someone. This is the lamest event ever!

  4. Liking this update very much, lots of cool things. However, anyone else sucking out a whole, whole lot?? I think I’m on my 2nd set of sucking out Easter fences and my gold eggs get gates, pastel fences—lol. I have been probably overly generous w/ neighbors–hoping they’ll @ least have better luck with my eggs scoring cool characters and decorations. It’s a long event I realize—are you able to use Easter fences in krustyland too? Haven’t tried but the fences are multiplying like, well— bunnies…..

  5. I have 1/2 a star to fill. Installed all consumerism items listed above.

  6. I’ve been at 4.5% for 3 months. Consumerism is keeping me from the max bonus. The only stores I’m missing are Mapple and Blocko…..hopefully I’ll get Blocko any day, and maybe Mapple will come back at Christmas.

It’s weird they don’t have enough options for consumerism but vanity has a billion options, but to give you an idea, I don’t do any premium stuff and was also at 4.5% forever at level 39. Along with whatever is available on the boardwalk, I had to have 15 Kwik E Marts to reach the max 5 star, 5% threshold. For fun, I decided to design it so half my town has a bunch of options, but the other half is stuck with 3 or 4 Kwik E Marts on every block.

  7. I would buy Fireworks, Candy, & Puppies in a heartbeat if I could place it on my Squidport! I really think it would look much better next to I’n’S & MFT than anywhere in town…

  8. 1000 VANITY for the natural fabergé egg? Sweet!
(Sweet as one of those creme-filled eggs!)

  9. I’ve actually been able to get rid of my franchises now!

  10. Why does the Banana Dictatorship contribute to Obedienec when it’s a clothing store?

    • Same reason the wax museum contributes to indolence when it’s not a house. EA does things like that too give you more options. I think because it’s got dictatorship in the title they figure why not go towards obedience…:)

  11. I was so excited when I got the Blocko store because then I could remove a Kwik-E Mart. I already had my conform-o-meter maxed out. But the minute that store finished building, my meter DROPPED! I had to build another Kwik-E Mart to get it back to the 5 stars! What is up with that?!!!
