Sorry this is a little delayed…it was dinnertime here. (still not a fan of these late in the day updates EA!)
Anywho…looks like the Tap Ball Removal update has hit our App Stores. So if you’re all done with Tap Ball and would like your Springfield to go back to normal download the update. BUT if you’d like to continue the Tap Ball fun you can put off downloading the update until it forces you to (which is usually in 24hrs).
If you choose not to update right now, remember you’re playing on borrowed time. Once the game forces you to update (again it’s usually within 24hrs) you will be locked out of your game (ie stopping ALL Progress) until you update. Which means if you don’t cash in your Amateur Bucks before it forces you to update, you’ll miss out. So proceed with caution!
And now…there’s a little bit of Spoiler Info leaked on Amazon for the next upcoming event on TSTO. Because it’s posted on Amazon, and comes directly from EA we’re going to post it on Addicts. BUT we’ll do so below the fold, so those that don’t want to know, don’t have to. However, if you’d like to know…click below.

Looks like Springfield Heights and Cookie Kwan are coming! A major TSTO Expansion is on it’s way (no it’s not live yet…soon i’m sure)…

Since the announcement refers to 50+ blocks of land, this will likely be three strips of land (17 x 3) above the mountains. This would make it more like Squidport. There could be a single entrance point, such as a mountain road.
Cannot wait! I’ve been using my new land very carefully but now I’m going to put everything I’ve got in storage out.

Does anyone know of any buildings/characters/decorations which will be added with this expansion?

I have been unable to connect to the server for a couple of hours now. I tried before downloading the update and after. I am being directed to enter my origin info and the connection issue screen pops up, when I select retry, I am back to the home screen and again need to enter my origin info. Does anybody have an answer to this? Of course it is to late to contact EA and actually get a solution from them. Believe me, I tried.

Greaaaat. I have gone from a never ending stream of Bart cannot connect, retry screens to a neverending stream of main log in pages (large black box on skyblue background) leading to a never ending stream of main splash pages with little black login boxes in bottom left corner & play anonymously boxes in bottom right corner. Have tried logging in multiple times & this sequence just keeps repeating over & over. Unable to get into game for hours.Have Declan & Homer down with a task & can’t get in at all. Thanks a lot EA,

but I haven’t been able to get into the game, either by updating or not updating on another device…. I’m not sure what to do, I’ve hard closed and updated…

My game won’t load since the event ended I’ve tried deleting and re downloading but still won’t work!!
Server was down…should be up now.
I can’t connect to game since I believe is US midnight till now which I think is US 345 am. Sigh.. I am trying to earn the bonus donuts.
Hello! I don’t understand what I need to do to play the game. 🙁 I downloaded update from Google Play store but the game cannot connect to server. What’s wrong?

I know this doesn’t belong here but I can’t log in. I kept getting unable to connect to server. So I tried hard shut down etc. Eventually I removed game and reinstalled it. Well I still get server error but if I don’t try go long in it goes fine to start a new Springfield. Anybody know what I can try? Thanks to all. And love this sight so helpful.

Thanks after getting some sleep and going to work so I can afford sprinkles when I got home was able to log and was delighted to see the new update!!! Have a great day.

The Tap Ball event was really mellow as far as events normally go. I’m sure that it was a time “filler” to help give EA some time to get ready to drop this new expansion on us! I am curious as to what this expansion will be like, and if they will do better with it than with Krustyland…it’s sad really, our KL because I can literally go 6 months playing my game and not even think about my KL…I literally forget that it is even there. They need to add a daily “incentive” for KL that acts as a reminder, like fireworks go off over the bus to KL or something…just a gentle nudge to get players there more often. I much preferred the water/docks expansion. It’s a “together but separate” area, and in seeing it everyday, I play there everyday… Here’s to keeping my fingers crossed that this new expansion will be like that rather than KL!!
The incentive that keeps me visiting KL twice a day is Sideshow You – need to get my 300 taps to get my 5 free donuts! 🙂
I just updated the post tapball tapped out update but i am not able to connect to my server even with strong signal. Others are having same issues from what the latest game reviews read.im scared n sad n shakin from donut withdrawl! Sumbuddy please, hellllllp!

No idea why but I can’t sign into origins without it saying server issues etc…I hope this issue is fixed soon
We’re having server issues over here on the other side of the world unfortunately. I just expanded my land and I was really excited to clear it up! LOL! That’s the highlight of my morning clearing up my TSTO land.
Excited about the new expansion but much like some of the other comments, I don’t visit Krustyland often so it’s literally just there. If this new expansion bit is more appealing than Krustyland then I’ll be good 👍🏽
EA servers are down, can’t login. Looking at EA forums it’s a worldwide problem for quite a few hours now. No announcement on EA main site, chat on the help is down too.
I’m going to throw my phone. Since the update I have been logged out and can’t log back in. I get the connecting to server screen the entire time. Anyone else having this issue or just me???

I have been getting shames server down issue since the lady iSO update yesterday. Then it goes to having to log into my Origins account, but then it will only allow anonymous play to a completely new game. Not wanting to start all over again and don’t want to risk deleting and reloading as this games is not linked to any Facebook account.
Contact EA, I’m thinking it’s all related to iOS devices at this time.
It would seem that regardless of whether you update or not, you cannot get in at all. I tried updating the game (even though I was not ready to) and that did not work. I even reset my password on origin and that has not worked.
At this point in time, my iPhone is repeatedly showing me the cannot connect to server screen and my iPad will only let me play if i want to play anonymously from the very beginning and will not let me log in through origin (even though I only just reset the password).
Am I the only person that is seriously annoyed right now?

Is it just me or is TSTO not loading? I tried to open it, Internet connection is stable, but I don’t get past the starting screen and the rolling donut/Bart who tells me the connection is lost. Then I downloaded the update, but no results. What should I do?

I really hope it is directly connected to Springfield like the squidport expansion with a tunnel through the mountains or something like that rather than having to travel there like krustyland.
The main reason I stopped using krustyland was that I got sick of the game crashing or getting the Bart screen every time I tried to travel back and forth.
I’m still excited for any new content and I’ve wanted Cookie to join the game too.
I updated but it won’t load. I tried removing than installing again, but now it won’t even let me log into my account.
Updated game, couldnt log in, when I finally logged in I got the daily bonus, burns mystey box but got nothing, clicked it and it disappeared, mountain expansion sounds interesting though, ps hate all the adds and popups on your page.
The ads are controlled by Word Press, we have no control over them. However, there shouldn’t be popups. That could be something with your device..
Either there is much going on within the game app (Network is down as of 10pm Pacific time) or EA doesn’t seem to mind that we can’t log into game (again!) 🙁
Probably doing server work
Anyone else having a problem getting the game to open? From 11 to 1:23 I keep getting “cannot connect to server” message, what the heck gives?! I sure hope it is working when I wake up in the morning.
Dang it, all my people are sitting idle all this time. I desperately need to build back up my cash reserves again. (At this rate I’ll never finish Burn’s money mountain.) I lost a butt load of my faux cash trying to win all the bonuts, I soooo stink at the donut trick.

When I got up this morning everything is working again. Whew! That was frustrating. I get that at times they may need to fix stuff …. which if that is the case they should put up a “down for repair” sign instead.

If they are introducing Springfield Heights does anyone think that the Monorail won’t be too far behind. It was key in Marge vs. The monorail.
I did contact EA, they said that they will get back to me. I guess through email? I have never contacted them before, so I’m not sure what the procedure is.
Usually email in that case
