Where Did THAT Come From – Happy Sumo

Sashimi, Sashimi! Raw, Raw, Raw!

Oh laughter. How are my favorite tappers doing today? Wookiee back with another Where Did THAT Come From for all of you. This time, I get to talk about a building that serves one of my favorite foods ever… sushi and sashimi. For those of you who don’t know, I lived in Japan for 6 years while in the military and some of my friends and families describe the effect as me becoming peacefully Asiatic. I love me some raw fish served thin. Of course, our newest location for this Japanese amazingness is none other than the Happy Sumo.

Where Did THAT Come From – Lugash and His Gym

Здравствуйте мои друзья. Как у вас дела?

Gotta love Google Translate.  Just because I know most of us (including myself) don’t speak Russian let alone read their language… it just says “Hello my friends.  How are you doing?”  But why Russian?  Stick with me folks, it’ll make sense soon enough.

So the last Episode Tie-In gave us the Fit Milhouse™ skin and you may have heard there are bonus tasks if you also owned Lugash and his Gym.  While this post is by no means a should I buy (you can find that here), I thought I’d step away from 4th of July and take the time to let you know some more info about this Russian Gymnastics teacher and where exactly he comes from.

WDTCF – Up, Up and Buffet

Woo hoo!  A classic Superman reference.  Makes me feel all Comic Book Guysey inside.

With all the romance in the air, it seems only natural that EA would give us a “classy” restaurant.  Sure, you could take your Marge to a fancy establishment like the Guilded Truffle, but that would be boring, right?  There’s nothing that says elegance and refinement like a restaurant made from a hollowed out airplane.

Should I Spend Donuts on the Springfield Museum of Natural History?

Level 36 is here (woohoo!) and with it comes the Springfield Museum of Natural History, a new premium building for your town.  I’m sure you’re asking “Should I Spend Donuts on This?”….well before you hit that confirm button, let’s break down the Pros and Cons of adding the Museum to your Springfield.

springfieldmuseumofnaturalhistory_menu
Building Name:
Springfield Museum of Natural History
Donut Price:
100 Donuts
Payout:
$500 & 45XP every 24hrs
Dimensions:  13×8
Conform-O-Meter Points:
Indolence +10
Pros:

-Looks nice.  Good fit in a downtown area with the Springfield Wax Museum & the Knowledgeum
-Pays out a decent rate of $500 every 24hrs.
-Will add to your Indolence rating, so you don’t have to house farm to max out your rating.
Cons:
-It’s a big building, will take up a lot of precious land.
-No quest unlocks with it.
-No Characters use it
Final:
This is one of those buildings I would tell you to pass on, unless you have an abundance of donuts.  While it looks cool it really doesn’t provide much value to your Springfield.  I would save your donuts for a different building or character.   So unless you’re a completest, or you’ve already purchased everything else, save your donuts on this one tappers!

Should I Spend Donuts on the Mausoleum?

With all of the Halloween premium items that are limited-time it may be overwhelming trying to decide which items to buy and what to pass on. With that limited-time label on items I know it can be tempting to just buy everything you can. But, have no fear! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth your donuts & what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the Mausoleum to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button, let’s break down the Pros and Cons of adding this to your Springfield.

mausoleum_menu
Decoration: Mausoleum
Donut Price: 60 Donuts
Unique?: No
Earns: 5 Ghosts every 8hrs (after Halloween it will earn you Cash)
Pros:
-Fairly small, won’t take up much space in your Springfield
-Every 8hrs it unlocks 5 extra Ghosts to pop (translates to more GOO)
-After Halloween it will still earn you cash & XP
-Can complete the “Graveyard” design if you purchased the cemeteries.
Cons:
-Expensive. 60 donuts is a bit much to pay for something that will only release 5 ghosts every 8hrs.
-A little creepy looking, might not fit into everyone’s Springfield
-After Halloween, while it will still earn you cash and XP, there’s really no other use for it.
Final Thought:
This one, at least to me, is a toss-up. In my opinion it’s a bit much to pay for 5 ghosts every 8 hrs, but it does add a nice look to the cemeteries. This is something I would say that if you’re going to buy, buy now. Try to get as much use out of the 5 ghosts/8hrs as you can.

Should I Spend Donuts on the Ancient Indian Burial Ground?

With all of the Halloween premium items that are limited-time it may be overwhelming trying to decide which items to buy and what to pass on. With that limited-time label on items I know it can be tempting to just buy everything you can. But, have no fear! Decoration:
Ancient Indian Burial Ground
Donut Price: 40 Donuts
Unique?: No
Pros:
-Adds 400 Vanity points for your Conform-O-Meter
-Earns 4ghosts/12hrs
Cons:
-You can get it for FREE just for GOO collecting.
-Expensive for only 4 ghosts/12hrs
Final Thought:
Don’t buy this one fellow Addicts! Save your donuts for something better. This is something you can get for free
just for collecting GOO, so why spend your precious donuts on another one?

Should I Spend Donuts on The Bad Dream House

With all of the Halloween premium items that are limited-time it may be overwhelming trying to decide which items to buy and what to pass on. With that limited-time label on items I know it can be tempting to just buy everything you can. But, have no fear! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth your donuts & what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add the Bad Dream House to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button, let’s break down the Pros and Cons of adding this to your Springfield.

baddreamhouse
Building:
 Bad Dream House
Donut Price: 85 Donuts
Unique?: Yes
Pros:
-A larger item full of many details
-Adds +10 Indolence
-Animation…for the Halloween 2013 event, flashing lights through windows all
over house. There is also a sound when tapped that sounds like the house is breaking apart.
-Limited-Time building.  Great for new tappers and Android players who couldn’t play TSTO last year because it wasn’t available on Android.
Cons:
-Mainly for an event.
-Does not come with unlock quests
-A fairly large footprint. 9×9
Final Thought:
For those holding on tight to their precious donuts, I say this one is worth it mainly for the design and look of the building. 85 donuts may seem like a lot for a special event item, however, it will add to the look of your Springfield and once the event is over, it will continue to generate in game cash for you.  So, myself, I would say unless you’ve already purchased all of the other premium characters/buildings or you’re a completest, I would really wait on this one and save your donuts to decide towards the end of the event if you really want it.

Tapped Out Premium Walkthrough: Kamp Krusty

Kamp Krusty is a premium item you can purchase once you reach level 12 in Tapped Out.  Once purchased a pretty funny questline is launched involving Bart, Lisa, Milhouse, Martin & of course Krusty!  Here’s the walkthrough…

Prologue
Auto starts

Marge: Bart drew magic marker tattoos on all of Lisa’s Malibu Stacys.
Homer: Heh, heh, that’s a good one.
Marge: Homer!
Homer: I mean, that’s a good one to remember the next time we rat Bart out to his therapist.
Marge: It’s summer and he’s bored.  We have to find him something to stimulate his mind and channel his energy.
Homer: I know the perfect place!
Make Bart Hang Out at the Retirement Castle with Grampa– 12hrs
Grampa: I heard you’re going to spend the day here so I thought I’d show you my extensive button collection.  This shiny one came off the uniform of a Nazi general.
Bart: That’s a nickel.
Grampa: Wha? So it is.  Well, that’s the whole collect.
Bart: Now what’ll we do?
Grampa: I know!  I’ll show you my extensive button collection!
Bart: Ugh….
Bart: Homer, I know that parenting isn’t your “thing”, so I took the liberty of making summer arrangements for me and Lisa at Kamp Krusty. Here’s the info.
Homer: My God, what a glossy brochure! I can’t afford a camp that uses this kind of paper stock!
Bart: Relax, I convinced them that we were really poor so they gave me financial aid.
Homer: How’d you do that?
Bart: Showed ‘em your paycheck.  We’ll be back in six weeks with sunburns, leather tooling skills and a slew of new curse words!
Keep Bart, Lisa & Milhouse free when complete
