Springfield Jobs- Act II Calendar and Math for Getting It All!

See?  I do believe I told you that Act I was do-able…if you stayed on top of it. And it was. Some barely finished, while others, like myself, was done days ago.  And some, got struck sideways by the “RollBack Glitch.”  COME ON EA…Get on it!!

Well…for Act II, there is some good news and some bad news. The good news is that the daily minimums are actually smaller than Act I.  The bad news, is that this is because the act is spread across an even LONGER period of time.

How long?  How does 17.5 days strike you?  Well…for me, it strikes me like a steak and kidney pie in the face…good and bad. I am a bit of an Anglophile, so I am looking forward to all of the stuff from “Jolly Old England.” I have saved up a ton of crafting currency, and stockpiled donuts…so I am READY!

Springfield Jobs Act 1 is Nearing the End…

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Just a reminder that Act 1 of the Springfield Jobs Event…Ends TOMORROW April 6th at 1400 GMT (10am ET).

Once the Act 1 is over you will no longer be able to earn Picture Prizes for free. So get everything you can before it’s all gone! (but remember to keep earning Pictures if you haven’t unlocked all of the prizes because the closer you get to unlocking the next prize the lower the donut cost would be should you need to purchase it when the next Act starts…)

Crafting will STILL be available in the next Act.

Be ready for the Act 2 to start at 1400 GMT (10am ET) tomorrow morning  (April 6th)….

Should I Spend Donuts on the Returning Hugs Bunny, Shary Bobbins, Egg Council Guy or Easter Trees?

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

In the midst of all the Heisting, Jesus has come back to Springfield to remind us that it is, in fact, the Easter Season.  That’s right, with Easter 3 days away it’s time to get a little holy (just a little…it is Springfield after all) with several returning Easter-ish themed items in our stores.

As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

There are a total of 7 returning items, either from Easters past or just something to remind you of the resurrection.  I’m going to break these up into 2 different returning posts because, well, it’s a lot of content and let’s face it..it’s still lent we all should be punished a little bit..

Anywho, for this second of two posts, I’m going to tackle the Stand-Alone portion of the returning content…as in Stand-Alone Characters and trees…because when you’re a pink fluffy tree it’s likely you’ll always stand alone.

Free Donuts with Easter Content

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Just popping in with something many of you may not have noticed (I know I didn’t).  Thanks to a couple of astute readers for pointing it out…EA is giving you 10 Free Donuts with the Ressurection of the Rigellian Christ content (i.e. the returning Easter Content)!

You’ll see this popup appear when you log into your game….

But it’s so ambiguous (and we’re so programmed to see these popups appear whenever there is new content in the store), many of you (myself included) may not have even noticed the free donuts.  But hey free donuts are free donuts, and 10 free donuts are great!  So I wanted to point it out to you…just in case you missed it!

And hey EA, a little note….when you give players free donuts it’s a good thing.  Make it really well known so they don’t miss it! (and say how many your giving)  They’ll like you better for it, I promise!

Placing Gondola, and Other Items for Bonuses around the Museum

I am posting this out of necessity, because all of the mods are tired of answering the SAME question in other threads… It is the LAST time we will answer this, OK? (and yes…I am exasperated…and working on my night..Sunday Night on this…so please read!!!!)

This bonus concept is exactly the same as Bart Royale…with the exception that there are a ton more options, and a couple of wrinkles and restrictions as they pertain to placing on or around water.

Springfield Jobs Update

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Those of you on iOS may have noticed you got an update today for the next TSTO Event, Springfield Jobs.  (Android, from what I can tell, hasn’t hit yet…It’s now on Android, same details apply.  Nothing will actually happen in game until tomorrow) While you’ve gotten the update NOTHING is different in Springfield.  Why?  Why can’t you start the new event?! Why?! WHY?! WHYYYYYYY!?

Well, EA is doing something a little different this time around.  Maybe to combat those who get the update a day late, maybe for other reasons… But this update won’t officially start (i.e. you won’t see changes in YOUR game, even if you’ve downloaded the update) until TOMORROW March 21st at 10am ET (1400 GMT).

So don’t panic!  The new event will be live before you know it.  For now, just relax and check out this awesome new Splash Screen! Shoutout to Super Safi for sending it over to me, as my Android doesn’t have the update just yet…

I’ll be back tomorrow once the update goes live with the rundown.  So don’t panic if you don’t see our usual 6:30am (ET) post on the site…I’ll have all the content ready to go once the event actually launches.

Feel free to use this post as an Open Thread to speculate…but remember this is still a Spoiler Free site.
