Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
A new Episode Tie-In has arrived in Springfield! This Limited-Time event will only be around a short while, so make sure you get those Limited-Time decorations and buildings while they’re still around! For a little extra incentive let’s take a look at how the new additions to Tapped Out will impact your Conform-O-Meter.
The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and XP from everything you collect in the game. When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town. If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.
While the “Days of Future Future” Episode Tie-In brought no changes to the Conform-O-Meter requirements, it did bring us new items to add to our Springfield. Let’s take a look at how all of the new “goodies” impact our rating:
Item | Cost | Categeory | Points | New/Returning |
Fortune Teller Shop | 150 Donuts | Consumerism | 10 | Returning |
Cremo Bot | 30 Donuts | Vanity | 300 | New |
Despite this being a mini update, with only 2 new premium items, they are both beneficial items to your Conform-O-Meter. Especially since the Fortune Teller Shop impacts the Consumerism Rating (one of the hardest to max out in the game). It’s always nice to have an item to impact Consumerism!
FYI Homer’s Grave does not (at this time) impact the Conform-O-Meter, nor does it award a bonus.
Which Episode Tie-In items have you purchased? How’s your conform-o-meter doing? Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!
Was the fortune teller shop always 150 donuts? I remember buying it and do have it but I have never had that many donuts at one time. I swear I only spent about 30 or 40 donuts on it.
EA oopsed on its release but fixed it. It accidentally was set at 25 donuts. So those that acted fast got it at that cost instead of full correct amount.
Urgh! Whenever there’s new stuff that’s sci-fi, I want it so bad. Be it ghouls or robots (Frink has to have his robots!), I gotta have them. Alas no donuts this month, so no fun : (
Pun always intended Alissa. In fact, one of my pet peeves is when someone says no pun intended. If you have to say that you knew you did it so take responsibility 😄
I’m a bit bummed out that the task ended so early in the day. I was hoping to sneak in at least one more grave. Alas, I only ended up with seven.
Any idea, in terms of conform-o-meter, how Homer’s graves contribute, my all-seeing & all-knowing Addicts?
Nothing. Nothing at all. Sorry 🙁
Well — I was just curious — the way you guys frak those files… maybe let me know if you turn something up?
We certainly will 🙂
I got the update but nothing else no items no grave… I have rebooted synced and all that stuff still nothing I got ghost homer talking to ghost but that’s it…
Homer has to go through his tasks talking to Ned and Maude…then he will eat everything in the fridges and THEN the graves start being rewarded as you finish those tasks. Here is the post that should help out. 🙂
Walkthrough is by the end.

whether or not i need them, they are available, so i WANT them!!!
Does Homer really need 9 graves? Isn’t that a bit of overkill?
Pun intended or not?
I think it has more to do with this week’s episode. Apparently Homer keeps getting killed and coming back to life…so perhaps it’s 9 times? We’ll know on Sunday for sure! 🙂
10 total actually. Lol. Not sure if there is going to be a need for that many. We will know soon.
What if you only wound up w/ one? I only got one? Don’t know why? Oh well. Surrounded it w/ fire & it’s now the Simpson’s Hell. Even have a highway going to it.
Overkill… I see what you did there — nice
