Well the Easter update is upon us! Bunnies, bunnies, bunnies…they’re EVERYWHERE! And we’ve been seeing in the comments that a lot of you are collecting those eggs and have already unlocked Fr. Sean! (many on the 1st or 2nd try!) So we thought this is a perfect time to Turbo Tap Fr. Sean!
For those of you who don’t know Turbo Tappin’ is our quick version of a walkthrough for the Level/Update/Character where we give you who starts the quest, the task and what you earn. This way you have your quick guide on who to keep free and when. This is great for our fellow Addicts who love to copy and paste the walkthrough into their device for quick reference.
Now on with the walkthrough! Fr. Sean is won through the Gold Prize box and once you’ve unlocked him you can either place him in Springfield or in your storage. Once he’s placed in Springfield his 5 part questline will begin…assuming you have Homer free. So let’s take a look at this White Collar Hero shall we?

And with that Fr. Sean’s Walkthrough is complete! The dialogue for this is hilarious and I really enjoyed the questline! Not to mention the outdoor tasks had me giggling! Fr. Sean has got to be my favorite addition to the game this update. Not to mention he’s a constant reminder that I should probably go to church a little bit more!
Remember there is NO RUSH to complete this questline….there is no bonus to finishing this. No eggs awarded, so complete it on your own time at your own pace. And please, please, PLEASE don’t use donuts to rush the quests 🙂

Hey folks, just wondering if there is any news regarding EA fixing the lack of baskets bug. With time slowly running out, it’s getting harder and harder to get the other colour eggs, simply because of the fact that fewer people have got the baskets to swap eggs with (including me – basketless now for the best part of two weeks). And I really want to get the Blocko store, but it’s becoming a real grind out mission, because I’m a Blue egg lad.
So many conflicting things from EA. I am not sure what is happening. I am wondering if some of it is not fixable to a point. Some players though are up n running just fine again.
Finally Fr Sean, first gold box of the day. Things are looking up just the Flying Nanny to go.
Finally got Fr. Sean! Hopefully Shari Bobbins and Hugs Bunny don’t take as long.
Yesterday I randomly got the Faberge egg from a bunny egg. Maybe things are looking up!

Anyone actually got Fr Sean and Shary yet ? Try as I might I just get stupid fences each time.
Actually quite a few people have gotten Fr. Sean (check out this post to see who’s won what). So far only a handful that I’ve seen have gotten Shary, and those are the people who have used donuts.

I haven’t won a basket or a donut in about a week through tapping.
Hopefully you’ve already let EA know. Some of us are business as usual and others say nothing. Unfortunately there’s nothing we can do on our end but keep our furry fingers crossed and hope for resolution.
I now have a reason that’s useful to me for clicking on this post! 😀
I see that I need to wait for Homer to finish his latest round of egg collecting to start things off, but that’s okay – there are at least two main questlines on my end that won’t be done/completed until 5/13ish or I get all the prizes so I’m in no rush at all. Homer and Nelson will be a busy for quite a while in my game…makes up for clicking on the wrong color basket a few hours ago, that’s for sure (space your baskets out people!). This is definitely better than complaining, lol.
I love the Turbo Taps by the way – it’s the happy medium of no spoilers and not sending the wrong character on a 24-36hr task at the same time. 😉

Question: How can you trade eggs without a basket??
The basket is only there to collect eggs. You yourself can go to ANY neighbors town that has a basket and drop 100 of your eggs for 50 the opposite color back. You only need a basket in YOUR town if you want to collect eggs 400 at a time too. Make sense?

Umh I’m not sure if I have gotten this with the boxes right, is it. So that when you bought 81 boxes all the pink and blue prices are unlocked or do you have to unlock 81 blue and 81 pink? Feeling confused
Don’t overthink it. The prizes unlock at all different levels. (See post below). 80/81 a box is the “worst case scenario”. The prizes unlocked for me really quickly. Around 25 each box. The gold ones, fast too…within 15. Shary is the hardest to get in that one.
Just play and have fun. Still LOTS of time left in this event.

Ok getting really annoyed now, I have been working the boxes daily and getting loads of gold boxes, but can’t seem to get Fr Sean or Shary, all I get is either easter gate or easter picket fence with the occassional topiary. If it wasn’t for the fact that today I zapped a bunny and scored the Fabege egg, I would say that the game is rigged. Finally got my first basket in a week too. Frustrated.
Sorry. It varies for every player. Cool that you got the Faberge Egg. A lot are still waiting for it.

Has this always been the case but I’ve noticed when I tap the diamond ‘luxury’ item it disappears and gets replaced by a note. It then reappears a second later. Is that a new feature? I don’t remember it doing that before.

So I’m stuck on the fences task. I know it’s a side task, but I haven’t got a new main task in two days. Is this normal? I checked and I don’t have any updates to make, I’m starting to think my game froze up on quests….
To get the fences you’ll need to win 50 of them (each time you win them it’s 3 fences so you’ll need to win a fences a total of 17 times). You can check out this post for more details on that portion of the update. 🙂
I got Fr. Sean about 15 mins ago on my second attempt at a gold box. Liking the odds so far, first attempt I won the Banana Dictatorship. Not going quite so well on the blue and pink boxes but there’s time. Hoping to get most things unlocked by 2nd May before I take my Guide unit on camp to a campsite that has no wifi or 3G signal and limited charging opportunities.

Don’t forget, pink and blue have that min of 12 tries before the unique prizes will open (while Gold only has a min on Shary).

Thanks, I’m not quite sure yet how I’ll survive for 3 nights without being able to play. However I’m sure my Guides will keep me very busy and probably also not sleep. Excitement of being in a tent with their friends and all.
Has anyone had problems with half full baskets suddenly becoming empty? I currently have 5 baskets, 3 blue & 2 pink, 2 of the blue baskets were almost full and now the are empty! The other 3 baskets are empty, I don’t know if anyone is putting eggs in them and the eggs are just not appearing or it’s just that no one is putting eggs in them, but the other 2 blues definitely had eggs in them!
It’s a known glitch that EA is currently working on. Check out this post for more details in how you can report it. 🙂

If I wanted to win baskets from bunnies am I allowed to stomp on them instead of zapping them or must I only zap them?
Lol…Stomp? Well, you make break your device into pieces of you stomp on it with your foot. But if you just tap them with your finger, they fall flat and you get an egg. 😛
Baskets are randomly in the bunnies. They can be won if you tap on them or zap on them. Either method is good.

Of the smaller prizes so far…. (an easter pond, three Easter fences, 3 lots of golden eggs various amounts, a teeny pile of eggs) i know I’m going to get them as prizes so i kind of know already where I’m going to use things…the planning and designing aspect of the game comes into play with the prizes… grandpa’s place, for example has two ponds and and i now like the Easter ponds much better than that two circles of river. Also, last Valentine’s i never got the Valentine’s red foil balloons on the wheel, and wheneveri see them in other towns i remember thatireally wanted them haha but life goes on…. only at the end of the event will i decide if I’m happy with what I’ve got and like i said, I’ll always smile at my easter ponds coz they ‘just look better’. Happy tapping
I really like the lillies in the ponds. I prefer them to water in a LOT of places. I have a lot of ideas for them. 😉
And with my fences I’m slowly (only three so far haha) going to replace my fenced entertainment area with a central square that leads towards the pier….and as I’ve done my little Easter area of floats and banners and my Lil pile of eggs… the fences will go nicely around that area… change of scenery… it helps if you already have a plan for your smaller prizes

no I didn’t get Fr. Sean yet .. all 3 of my golden box yields have been PASTEL PICKET FENCES … I’m fed up hearing how most people have won almost everything and all I get are trees, blankets with umbrellas and FENCES FENCES FENCES

I am sorry you are losing patience. This event still has 2+ weeks left in it. Plenty of time. If you have only opened 3 gold boxes, you have barely scratched the surface of the prizes in there. Hang in there. Don’t over think it. Just have fun.
I couldn’t agree more. This update BLOWS! At least in past updates you had a goal of so many snakes, valentines, goblins etc. There is no way to tell how far along you are and no guarantee of how many spins it will take to accumulate enough golden eggs to get another chance at winning lame prizes before actually winning something fun and useful. Although I believe there are some absolutes built in such as the Bunny at 15 gold boxes, Banana Dictatorship at 20 gold boxes, Father Shawn at 50 gold boxes, Sharry Bobbins at 80 gold boxes and Hugs Bunny at 81 gold boxes. There is no way you would ever know how many boxes blue or pink it would take for you to accumulate 40,500 golden eggs needed to win all the prizes. PLEASE NEVER DO THIS TO US AGAIN EA! RANT OVER FOR THE MOMENT.

I was able to get Father Sean a few days ago. So far I like him. I haven’t had a chance to do his questline yet. What I would like to do after the Easter event is to have both him and Mindy riding around my town on bikes. If only we could get Snake his muscle car to do the same thing. I have a makeshift drag strip. Lol
hey! I just finished Fr. Sean’s questline (about 10 minutes ago). He was the first gold box prize I got 😉 it was nice and fitting for the Easter Event.
You are right, this might be my favorite questline so far, so funny. Poor Homer and his attempt to join a biker gang. Stupid Flanders having to point out the truth and ruin it all.
