Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Well…the end is near! Tomorrow (May 13th) the Easter Event will officially end and the bunnies will burrow back into the ground, with no return in site. (Don’t worry our own Bunny will reemerge from the Basement still!) As of right now, we see no signs of this event being extended. In the past, if an event was going to be extended, EA would make an announcement several days before it was initially scheduled to end. As of now, no announcement & no changes to the files. So I think it’s a safe bet to assume Easter will be gone tomorrow.
As far as the Easter items becoming available after the event…we don’t know if this will or won’t happen. It’s possible, given what happened after Whacking Day last year, BUT based on the majority of past Events this won’t happen. At this point I’d say it’s a 60-40 against.
So beyond the items what else do you need to know for the end of the Easter Event? Let’s take a look at some of the steps you should know to finish out the event and get ready for some kind of update.
Based on previous events this is what we can expect to happen tomorrow:
-The set end time for the event is 8:00 GMT (4am EST). However, based on past events, the update won’t end at that point. It will take the update to remove it from your game. So all that will happen at 8:00 GMT (based on past events) is the counter in the Easter Info box will stop counting down. So you should still be able to play your game first time tomorrow morning.
-Some kind of update will hit our games tomorrow. This will be an App Store (or Google Play Store) update, where you will need to actually go in and update your game.
–Usually, and again I say this because it’s based on what’s happened in the past, the update will hit sometime between 12PM EST and 2PM EST.
-The update may contain a new level (like what happened after Halloween) or it could just be an update to remove Easter with nothing new in the game (like what happened after Christmas). Right now we’re not seeing anything in the files to indicate anything. So we’re all flying blind & at the mercy of EA.
As always if we see anything in the files…we’ll let you know. Usually if something is going to appear in the files before the update hits it’s a 2-4 hr window before it actually hits.
What you can do to get ready if you’re on Level 40:
-Do not send your characters on 24hr tasks. Whatever task you send them on tonight into tomorrow morning make sure they’ll be free after 10AM EST (just to be on the safe side).
-Ignore all of the random quests the game will try to send you on between today and tomorrow, unless they’re short quests. Just because they’re telling you to Send Bart and Milhouse for a 24hr Sleepover doesn’t mean you have to. So hold off on those quests until you know what’s going to happen tomorrow.
-Check your App Store tomorrow, again this will be an App Store update. So you will need to download and update TSTO for it to work.
Finishing Out Easter:
-If you haven’t yet cleared all of the boxes…keep trying. You still have time. Also, just because an update is here doesn’t mean you have to update your game. Because this will be an App Store update, if you haven’t yet cleared your boxes you don’t have to update your game. You can keep playing in Easter and earn more Eggs (usually 2-3 days after the update hits, although in the recent past they’ve forced Tappers to update hours after the update hit the App Store). Just keep in mind if your neighbors have updated it makes it that much more difficult to earn Eggs, since you won’t be able to tap their buildings.
-Make sure you purchase all of those limited-time items before they’re gone, if you want them. They won’t be here late tomorrow for you to make a decision on. If you’ve already purchased the Easter items, they’re yours forever and will remain in your Springfield (or storage) unless you sell them or delete your game (via origin ID…not uninstalling from your phone). This also applies to items won in the boxes. If you’ve won them, they’re yours.
So just what are the limited time Easter items? Well here’s a complete list of everything that you will no longer be able to purchase (with think) after May 13th:
Non-Premium:
– Easter Banner– $12,500
Easter Float– $15,000
Premium:
–Frink Egg Generator Mkii– 75 donuts
–Frink Egg Generator Mki– 40 donuts
–Mojo Helper Monkey– 65 Donuts
–Natural Faberge Egg– 100 donuts
That’s it for limited-time items. Everything else (Crazy Cat Lady, Fireworks Candy & Puppy Dogs, Kodos and Kang Topiaries & the Sumatran Flower) will still be available after the event is over.

Confused about what you should purchase before it’s gone? Well here’s my advice. If you have the in game cash buy everything, you can add a few of each (you can also store them). I’m not saying run out and spend all of your game cash on the few Easter decorations, but be sure you buy them before they’re gone. Trust me you’ll regret it in a few months if you didn’t purchase them. Plus, it’s part of your “battle scars” for playing TSTO. So next summer when new Tappers are coming into the game they’ll covet those banners and floats.

Still playing here in the UK, and only have father Sean and Johnny Fiestas to get but slowly running out of eggs and doughnuts that I had as compensation and I bought. I hope they become premium items or get released in an update 😉
I’m so annoyed I really wanted blocko store and I got so many boxed since I’m on pink team got more than enuf of everything else in pink box but blocko store and I used all my eggs went to all my ppl have no more baskets so won’t hve another chance to try n get it and its limited ugh gh happy I got banana dictatorship tho but really wanted blocko store plz put it in shop to buy with money hve no donuts cuz I really want it I would buy it no matter wht thx u username vanetta15
I didint buy the Easter float till I just read tht cuz I might never get it again lucky I just had enuf money happy I got it now even tho Easter is over add me vanetta15 one thing I thought u should hve done for Easter update was golden basket mabey u can do them next year hopefully only problem bout Easter update was I wasted 15 donuts on eggs by mistake and nobody got back to me bout tht

I just want to point out that this thread isn’t in the Easter list either – it’s little mistakes like this that lead to defeat in battle – just sayin’.
D-Day happened at 0800 UCT this morning.
It’s Cguy, with my last from the Easter Front. Interesting fact about war correspondents: Thucydides’ coverage of the Peloponnesian Wars is widely considered the first known instance of war journalism.
Our valiant troops are engaged with the floppy-eared bunny enemy. The battle has been raging for almost 7 hours now with no sign of ending. Some of the general’s staff believe that the enemy can only last another 1 to 3 hours, but they only put a 60-40 odds on this, it could go on another couple of days.
After the court martial and subsequent firing squad dismissal of our former supply sergeant, his replacement proved much more effective. Due to the imminent battle, Command had to make some unexpected last minute spending decisions – they were likely quite painful. But nothing is too good for our troops, and when they went into battle they were fully equipped.

Since this is my last report from the Easter Front, I thought the readers would enjoy a couple of interesting anecdotes.
I find it funny that when Lisa is babysitting Rod and Todd, Rod and Todd actually have to be there. But when Grandpa is babysitting Bart and Lisa, they could be all the way across town – and he doesn’t seem to notice. Now, is this intentional on the part of the Empire of Anarchy? Or was this is lazy oversight?
Even more amusing is when Todd is leaving Sunday School, and he is heard to say “That was fun! So it must’ve been bad…”, hopefully Ned doesn’t hear that.
Well, it’s been a blast keeping my loyal readers informed, and I will miss this, but — like I am assuming most of you — I am SO over this event!
Lol…ok Mr. Punctual…how about in the future we let YOU handle the 30 plus posts that need to be supplied to the blog, the 2000 plus comments that must be answered daily, and the 50+ different pages that have to be updated with each and every post…and you must do it all within 10 seconds of posting. 😛
Oh and all while still balancing playing multiple games and working an actual job 40+ hours a week.

I have a little experience that I wanted to share.. like most of you I didn’t receive a basket of any color for a long time after I completed the main quest line (pink player) and even before they were few and far between..i got about 6-7 baskets and a few of them were glitched as well.. but only a three days ago got my fab egg.. now the weird part.. yesterday after feverishly tapping/zapping the bunny population of springfield I was able to gather 11 baskets in all..(6pink and rest were blue).. all of them working absolutely fine.. what’s more- clearing my town today, I got 9 more of the baskets 6 of which i put in storage because I gather most tappers are trying to open as many boxes as they can.. I know you say they were completely random but is this not too random? also one of the pink baskets already had 200 eggs in it when I placed it.
now that I got the baskets soo late they are probably worthless anyway as I said before people would want to open as many boxes as they can..
The baskets will most likely be taken with all of the easter items. Doesn’t hurt to put them out to see what you can get in the last hours. The codes are there in the servers…it is only a matter of time before the updates hit all the app markets. So I say play and play as much as you can til the game forces you to go and update. Lol. Unless you are done…in that case…just go to the market and update when it hits. 😉

can you delay the update on your phone, to be as long as possible in the easter update, to try to win a few prices?
If it is an app market update…you have til the game forces you to update…which can be hours or a day or too. So just play wisely. 😉
I caved in and bought donuts. I really wanted Johnny Fiestas and Fr Sean and I finally got them. No lizards, no Shary Bobbins. I’m ok with that. Overall I liked the Easter event even though the frustration with those boxes was a huge negative. I’m willing to bet that the next event will give us six ways to spin some version of the wheel and be ticked off about it. 🙂
Aahhh in theory this event should be over for me but I’m hoping to get a few more hours out of it. Especially since I just got my first basket in a week ggrr.
I caved and bought loads of doughnuts to get those golden eggs. I was desperate for Fr Sean or Shary Bobbins. So after buying two truckloads of golden eggs- all I got was gates, fences and topiaries. Which I already owned.
I tapped 3-4 times a day, only planted carrots, visited all my friends every day, spent money and still haven’t completed this event. I’m so disappointed with this event. I literally couldn’t finish it even if I tried.
Out if curiousity, the eggs I purchased were in odd amounts. After spinning it would leave an amount of eggs- another sneaky EA ploy to make you spend more money.
I have 400 gold just now which are purchased eggs, if I can’t get another box – what happens to these eggs?
If I lose them, I essentially lose real money I’ve spent?
Sorry the odds didn’t work in your favor. You just got to watch the numbers. If you want Shary and Father Sean, Shary requires a minimum of at least 20 gold boxes before she even is put in the loop. Father Sean maxes out at 50 boxes. So it is a matter of combining the free spins with the paid ones to benefit you most. Especially when spending donuts.
We stated clearly as well as the information on them…that the purchases made were for almost complete boxes. So yes, you did take the risk when you bought them that if you did not spin more gold eggs, some would remain. Or if you bought enough to even it out and hit some gold as you spun…you would still have odd numbers. It is all chance. No one knows when, where, or what will hit. So you play it and hope your luck pans out.
This is why we stressed to win all you can for free. Save the donuts til last. Then, if you want…invest but invest wisely to get the most “bang out of your buck”. Keep playing as long as you can. I am still watching for the Update to hit to take it all away.
Ya its ridiculous I also spent 2 truckload of golden eggs yesterday and didn’t get father Sean nor Shery…I only got useless stuff….feeling ripped off. Thanks EA you’ve pissed off quite a few fans and won’t get my money in the future for stupid lucky events like this one.
On this last day of Bunny smashing, I have to say I liked the event over all. I’m a freemium player and haven’t spent any d’oh for eggs. I got pretty much all I wanted from the boxes, except maybe Shary Bobbins (and I am not too sad about that). I got Father Sean, Egg Council guy, each of Kang and Kodos topiary, finished the fences suck out premium, Blocko, Fiestas, the two lizards, Hugs, and Banana Dictatorship. the natural Fabrege. Naturally I have many trees, blankets, and the like. My secret? Spending way too much time playing the game. My only splurge was buying crazy cat lady with the donuts I saved up since starting the game about 10 months ago.
I will say that I experienced none of the glitches, which would have soured me on this event. And Only once did I forget to clear my bunnies before harvesting carrots, either.
So that’s my experience.
I’m freakin’ pissed! I spent 50 donuts, which I have saved up not payed for, and all I got was fences and some colored eggs. I loved this even at first, now it’s just pissed me off, my zapper quit working on both my accounts weeks ago, I NEVER get any baskets on my main account and now I get jack sh*t spending doughnuts! I hate this damn event!
Sorry your luck wasn’t what you had hoped. Out of curiosity, did you ever contact EA in regards to not having a single basket at all in your other game?
Yeah, I just got off of an hour chat with someone. He gave me 15 donuts, forwarded my problems to EA and told me there’s an issue right now with the odds being off with the boxes.He also said they don’t know when the event is going to end, which I found odd.
I don’t. Same with every big event. Timer runs out and it’s a matter of when the update to wipe it out hits the servers. Also, they still may be debating an extension. It’s happened before.
I’m just glad they took care of you in some compensation for now. The baskets were an issue that no one saw coming.
Here’s something alittle weird for you all… My sister started a fresh new game about a week ago… After completing all the in game task, she then was introduced to whacking day! So when I told her that the Easter update will end in a few days, yesterday she bought 1700 gold eggs with the doughnuts she had won in-game. On her first try she got the Banana dictatorship, 2nd try was egg council guy and 3rd was fences… I only got my banana dictatorship last Friday after a lot of hard work, which is so unfair 🙁 but to top it all off! She won the lemon tree on her first mystery box!!! Aaarrrgggg!!! I have bee searching for that my entire TSTO life!!!! So unfair :'(
Odds are never the same in any two games. It is strange how it plays out. I got the lemon tree and Squeaky Voice Teen in mystery boxes when I started too.
Bunny less then an hour to go and you still have over 6000 of blue and pink eggs. You better get spinning. There are needy kids all over the world that would love to have those eggs ( like me still no Jonny fiestas!!).
I am going “door to door” as we speak sharing my “basket of goodies”. Sheesh…impatient much? Lol 😉

I would have enjoyed this event if the baskets had kept coming.
This was without a doubt the worst, most frustrating event… another one like this and I wont even bother, spend all the time collecting blue eggs, trading them with friends for pink eggs.. hoping to get gold eggs… to end up nearly every time with a worthless fence, beach chair, egg decoration, or pond (with the lone exception the banana dictatorship).
Im guessing the update will just remove easter, no new level since we just got level 40. But posibly a new friendship pirize or two.
Possibly, our maybe nothing at all with a season finale tie-in on Wednesday.
Oh ya, I never thouhgt of that. A fanale tie in woule be a nice way to end the season.

I got the bunng hugs and two aliens 48 fence 2 short reach 50 lol spend 10 bucks on scratch ticket Buy 2 50x eggs lol no other special items like father sean or other lady but I did get the special egg from the bunnys zipping.
Since I could, I broke down and bought a banner and a float, even though I’m not all that fond of them. You know what I really wanted but couldn’t get because I didn’t have enough in-game cash at the time? The St. Patrick’s stuff. Those would’ve been really cool. More so than the Valentine’s stuff, one of each I did get and I do like them. A heart-shaped hedge doesn’t compare to a shamrock hedge or leprechaun though. So, even though I hemmed and hawed at getting the banner and the float, I figured since I didn’t *have* to make the same mistake again, I wouldn’t. After things wind down I’ll probably store them in inventory until I establish a nice little random holiday aka battle scar area which is slowly but surely gaining more content, but at least I’ll have them to use…FOREVER!!! Or something like that.
I have way too many easter ponds and gates and fences,what worse is that i cant sell them…..
Well, I’ve spent an hour messing with flicker…so many Easter screens to show…but I nearly need to go back to school to figure out how to use it… 🙂 …damn you kids!!! Will have to find someone under thirty to help me…lol
Should I spend the 5600 Gold Eggs I have? I have everything after many many spins, so I’d just be putting whatever’s won in storage. Like the 10 Kang/Kodos Topiaries and pastel fences….anything about trading in eggs in the files? Thanks!
Nothing about an Egg Trade. You mine as well play them, if you get Topiaries at least they have bonus % on them.

…a place for you to store that adorable little cat in a hat…lol…I just started messing with them but I see alot of potential…so far I’ve just used then as a raised platform for a building just to show my neighbors…but I bet more cool stuff can be made with them… 🙂

I not had much luck with this event.
I have not open at least 20 gold boxes, so Sherry will be unattainable. In fact, not a single playable character has been won!
As for buying gold eggs, I’m not going to. I have been playing strictly Freemium and even though a have about 90 donuts, the risk for WASTING them is too great. I will spend them for something at least I am guaranteed to get. Would I go to a restaurant, hungry for steak, and decide that the 1/2 priced “magic doggy bag” would be a better deal? Sure, I have a 1 in 25 chance of getting a nice rare 24oz Porterhouse, but more likely I’ll end end up with three cucumber finger sandwiches. I’d rather pay more for a 16oz sirloin and be sated, than cursing at my tea party fare.
Well, that’s my rant for Easter thingy thing thing.
This was the worse update to try to get exclusive items. I don’t need a blue basket when I can get it from tapping on the bunnies. And why would I need 5 Easter gates. Did not enjoy this at all.

What will I get from the townies still in egg hunt quests when the new update hits and they are still egg hunting .
Also, I,saved a Pink and Blue backed in my inventory (gotten free from bunnies), what happens after Easter ends, Do I keep the baskets to use as decorations or will they go poof?
Can other players click them after the quest? If so, will they fill with eggs and then disappear after I try to pick them up, and if I can use them as decorations after Easter, will I be able to store them again?
Most likely it’ll be cash instead of eggs, if they’re still on the quest when you update.
Baskets most likely will disappear from your town, and inventory. That should be able to answer both questions. 🙂
I’m updating as soon as it hits. Maybe that’ll fix my town and ill be able to save some of friends from deleting me!!!

hey guys looking for some help/advice..I’m on the blue team and I have only collected one of the major prizes for the pink or gold boxes..hugs bunny…I clear bunnies on my springfield every hour, have characters on egg tasks,, have bunny carrots growing, and I collect from all my friends(maxed out) everyday but I don’t seem to get enough eggs for more than a couple boxes per day..I also don’t seem to be collecting any more than like 2 baskets in a week and I have seen some other friends collect so many more without buying..am I doing anything wrong or is there something I can do to collect all the prizes? did I just get stuck with bad luck /odds for this event? for Christmas n Halloween I collected everything by just playing everyday as I’ve been doing..should I succumb and buy eggs hoping the odds will change to be in my favor?
Unfortunately, there’s no trick with this one to make sure you get the rest of the prizes. You can try your hand at buying eggs, but with out knowing how many you’ve already unlocked I can’t say if you’ll be in the winning end of that deal.
I have opened at least the minimum based on tsto addicts odds but I don’t know an exact number unfortunately 🙁
I bought eggs…. And if I’m being honest, it just frustrated me as I opened about 10 gold boxes with eggs I already had and all I got was fences, Easter Gates…. I spent 50 donuts…. but I admit the temptation to just see if you win will be great so why not… go for it! 🙂
Or u could luck out like I did spent 200 donuts on gold boxes that’s about 35-40 boxes to try get mary and hugs in the dyeing minutes of easter btw I have kept count over the event and opened 23 gold boxes before I spent donuts so over 60 gold boxes total still no bugs or mary but I think I’ve got enough fences and gates to surround my entire springfield brings new meaning to the term gated community lol.
